I am home during the day. If an unexpected emergency occurred and I had to be away from my home for the day, I know most of my neighbors and they know the code to my front door and will keep your dogs happy and safe. I have been dog sitting for Rover since 2018 and have not had to use my neighbors to cover any family emergencies.

Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
I have a small fenced yard, adjacent to 10 acres of dense wilderness. There is a natural spring and a family of deer who graze back there. There are many new sights and smells for your dog to experience. I am an artist/pottery, or at least I try to be. I have lived in my home for over 22 years and somehow became the President of my Neighborhood Association (not an H.O.A.) Apparently some people think I am responsible. I was voted 'most witty' in school and I get along with most humans and all dogs. I like dogs who do not snore! I work random liquor promotions in Lexington which typically only last three hours. I work an average of five events a month and I am usually home during the day. Rover.com has allowed me this wonderful opportunity to make extra money so I don't have to break down and get a real job. Staying home and playing with dogs is the greatest job ever! In January 2024, two little 16 lb dogs were abandoned in my neighborhood and lived on the street for 18 days. I was finally able to catch them in a homemade trap. My plan was to keep them until they could be adopted together. After 6 weeks I couldn't find a family willing to adopt both of them. I soon realized I had fallen in love with them. After a $1000 vet bill, Daisy and Luke are fully vaccinated with every possible vaccine available. Daisy and Luke are no longer looking for a home, they live with me now. I expected these two sweethearts to be wild and feral. They ran from every neighbor who tried to help them. They are the most loving and cuddly dogs I have ever met. It is now June 2024 and they have met at least 30 different dogs who have stayed in my home and they have gotten along with every dog. I only keep small dogs and I often keep multiple dogs at the same time. When I do leave my home, I put my two dogs in a crate. I never allow dogs from different families to roam unsupervised when I am not home. If your dog has never been in a crate, I will block off my kitchen where your dog will have its bed, food and water. The “DOGGIE V.I.P.” area is a window at the bottom of my stairs. I keep a comfortable dog bed in front of this window and dogs will sit and gaze outside for hours. I have many pictures of dogs lounging at this V.I.P. window posted on this Rover profile. I understand leaving your furry family member with a stranger you have met online can be quite scary. I will put your mind at ease by sending multiple pictures and videos each day. You are welcome to call and video chat at any time. There is a good chance I may put a costume on your dog and take pictures. I like dogs who do not snore.

Stacy was amazing, Mora was so well taken care of, she loved staying with Stacy, we got updates often and felt so safe leaving our dog with her, Mora will definitely stay with Stacy in the future

Stacey takes such great care of our two pups! It’s so nice going out of town and knowing they are in great hands.

Stacey was an incredible sitter for my two dogs. She was friendly and calm when I dropped them off and it was obvious she knew how to be around dogs. Mine seemed comfortable right away and that was confirmed with a picture and text from Stacey within an hour of drop off of them laying on the couch. The communication was consistent while I was away and it was clear they had a good stay when I picked them up as they were happy, calm, and tired :) Thank you Stacey for taking such good care of my pups!

As always, Stacey took care of my Sadie who loves being there! stacey continues to communicate and send a bunch of photos. She always makes me feel stress free leaving Sadie with her so I am always at ease. Her two little digs Luke and Daisy are absolutely precious and sweet and make Sadies time even better!!!!
