Availability
I am a full-time work from home employee, so I am more available throughout the day, and I typically like to take walks during my lunch, and in the afternoon to get some sun and take a break. As I mentioned in my family home, we had a dog and cat so I was used to attending to them during my work hours, but I have since moved out and miss having my assistants as I like to call them.

If I can tell that a pet is needing attention or I feel that something is off I’m quick to communicate to the owner or vet based on what I’m seeing. I feel like I am very attentive considering my pets were very spoiled at home. I would stop work to let them out at any moment and bring them back in when they were hungry.

Please let me know if your dog is extremely active. My house is a bit smaller and I would enjoy having them be comfortable in every room without bumping into walls or hurting themselves. I’m a very small woman under 110 pounds so if your pet is a larger and aggressive I don’t think I am the correct person for you, as I would love to go on walks and make sure they are safe and not run off. I am most comfortable with senior dogs but any companion will be happy and comfortable here!
A typical day
I live right next to a large park so I would spend my breaks hanging out with them there as well as take walks in the neighborhood. Since I typically take my laptop outside to work for a bit I would bring the pets out with me if the weather is good for them.

Pet care experience
I began dog/housesitting for a family with senior dogs at the beginning of my college career around five years ago. In my family home for the last couple of years we were able to bring in new family members a farm cat and a big, fluffy Pyrenees.

Guadalupe took great care of my dog while he stayed with her! She provided excellent communication before and during his stay with plenty of pictures and videos. I felt completely comfortable that he was in good hands. Highly recommend!!
Took very good care of our boy and was very accommodating especially for a last minute appointment.
A true life safer!! Long story short, I was supposed to deliver a puppy as a Christmas present and ended up having to keep the puppy 5 days before delivering to a family member. Guadalupe was very understanding of my last minute debacle and so helpful with watching the puppy during the day while I was at work. I appreciated the pictures and updates from her!
Absolutely wonderful experience. She was communicative and kind, had no issue with Luna’s medication schedule and updated us throughout with pictures and videos. Luna was immediately comfortable in their home and I’m sure will be very excited to visit again.
