About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.

About: I am a vet assistant currently going to school for vet tech. I have puppy/kitten and senior pet knowledge. I love pets of all sizes and have a willingness to work with all temperaments. I’m currently working full time from 8am until 6pm when I can give your fur babies walks and play time! I am usually available between 12pm-1pm to stop by and check in with your pet. Being semi-retired and self-employed gives me freedom to create my own schedule. I'm able to fit most timeframes except prior to 9 am as I have my own menagerie to care for first thing! Having had VIP clients in DC for so long, safety and security are ingrained in me. It's critical for your animals, your home, and my own well-being. I follow your instructions or my own protocols as needed, since every pet and home is unique. In my own home, your pet would have their own separate room/space and/or be closely monitored when in the rest of the house. If I accept a mini dog for boarding, they will be on a leash at all times when outside for potty breaks or a walk.
