My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. I follow your instructions or my own protocols as needed, since every pet and home is unique. In my own home, your pet would have their own separate room/space and/or be closely monitored when in the rest of the house. If I accept a mini dog for boarding, they will be on a leash at all times when outside for potty breaks or a walk.
