“Arianna is by far the top of the top!! She isn't just in the top 1%, she IS the top of the .01% of anyone on Rover, or anywhere else for that matter. Let's just say I've been there/done that with a close family member as a veterinarian and personal experience volunteering at a different veterinarian hospital for an extended amount of time, which was almost 40hrs/wk. after certification through classes and hands on training, which I pretty much already had since I've rescued animals as early as I can remember as well as my parents doing so prior to my existence. I'm coming up on 40 yr's old quicker than I could have imagined and I enjoy my five rescue animals. Arianna helps make it all possible, especially with my older, yet tenacious big guy. She has cared for him daily and I don't trust hardly anyone from my animals to finance to the point where I do all on my own but Arianna is the #1 person I know I can trust and she has proven that time and again. If you're searching for anyone on Rover etc., I strongly suggest and promise that you can end your search where it's at and go with Arianna. Just don't take her away from my rescued guy, Herbie:) If Rover allows, you may contact me through them for any comments, questions, or concerns. However, I've already given you a review from, what I consider myself to be, an experienced individual. I can say with certainty, you want to employ Arianna and can end your search for the right person for the job. I did my homework and due diligence far beyond I bet anyone has completed. So, this is for both those out there searching and Arianna because she is the one you want to go with if at all possible. Thanks Rover and thank you more, Arianna!! Sincerely, Mr. Guenther”

“Joselyn was amazing with my dog. She was patient, thorough, caring, and loving. She took the time to come meet with him prior to having to care for him. Yogi loved her immediately. I would trust Joselyn with my boy again, any day! Thank you for taking care of my boy.”

“Mary has been a great dog walker for our kid Marshall. She’s attentive, courteous, and Marshall enjoyed his time with her. She will be walking him on a weekly basis to give him a break from long days at doggy daycare. She sent lots of photos and videos which was perfect and eased my mind! Looking forward to working with Mary more!”

About: Hi my name is Tonia and I'm a very neat a clean person who doesn't smoke. I will love your fur baby as my own while they are in my care. I'm available weekends anytime. Early morning before 10am and after 6pm during the week. I can house sit during the week if arranged with little notice. I prefer to do drop ins for cats. I have experience with giving medication, caring for post surgery animals and provide puppy services. I will also provide bath services with notice for a small fee. * I do not house sit overnight in cat homes sorry * Why trust me? Because I have loads of experience. I have experience house/pet sitting and caring for animals for family, friends and co workers. I'm a very clean person with great time management and abilities to multitask.

About: I have been in veterinary medicine for 8 years. I am confident in my ability to handle and work with many different breeds, sizes and temperaments. I’m free on the weekends and I have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs before and after work. I have time to not only let out and feed your fur baby but spend time with them. I will care for your pet per your exact instructions. I will treat your fur baby how I would want my own to be taken care of.

“She’s an amazing dog walker! I can’t wait to book with her again!”

About: Hi! I'm Ashleigh, a passionate dog lover with over 10 years of experience, including raising puppies and even assisting with deliveries. While I currently live pet-free to accommodate my spontaneous love for travel, I deeply miss the joy of having furry friends around. That's why I'm excited to offer my time and care to your pups, especially for those occasional weekends. Whether it's playtime, walks, or just cuddling, I can't wait to make some new four-legged friends! I’m currently working part time so I’m generally free in the afternoons during the week and most weekends with appropriate appointments made. I always try to be as flexible as possible. In my home, I provide a cozy and safe environment for pets, with plenty of space for them to relax and play. Living on the first floor in an apartment less than a mile from a park, I often take pets for walks and playtime outdoors. I live alone with no other animals, ensuring a calm and focused environment for each pet. In my client's home, I adhere to their routines and preferences, ensuring pets feel comfortable and cared for in familiar surroundings.

About: I have years of experience caring for dogs in and around my neighborhood and have dealt with all types of dogs from large to small. I am willing to go the extra mile to care for your special friend. I work a part time job about 3-4 times a week, however this will not get in the way of taking care of your pets. I will always make your friend my priority! I have a fenced in backyard and pet friendly home with two dogs and a cat of my own. I am very friendly with animals and will be sure to keep them safe!

About: Highlights! I am very capable with senior care. I cared for my own senior dog who took daily medications, ate a special diet, needed extra bathroom outings (including at night), and had limitations with mobility. I have a soft spot for seniors! I've worked with multiple shy dogs who need patience and lots of positive reinforcement to feel comfortable. I view that time not only as a way to build a good relationship with your pet, but as valuable experience for building your pet's trust and confidence for future encounters with new friends. I am very comfortable with excited, high energy dogs, or dogs that are still learning. I am patient and consistent which provides clear feedback and boundaries. I am there to reinforce what you are already doing! I also love to find healthy outlets for them to channel their energy and natural instincts. Do they like puzzles or chase? We'll play hide-and-seek or tag! Do they like to use their nose? Let's play a scent game or go for a walk in a new place! Each dog and cat has it's own unique personality. Whether it's their favorite place to be scratched or pet, what game makes their tail go at turbo speed, or knowing they need patience and time to know they are safe, I genuinely love getting to know each of them. I can't wait to get to know your best friend! Background and Experience! At 5 years old, I made a best friend. His name was Tyler and he was a family friend's golden retriever. (You can find a photo of us on my profile!) I used to ask to ride him, but his owner seemed to think riding a senior dog wasn't a good idea. Although that was a disappointment to my 5-year-old self, that did not stop me from following him around the house on all fours and snuggling up when he laid down! I have always deeply loved animals, especially dogs! As a young kid, I regularly asked - or rather, begged - to walk the neighborhood dogs anytime someone would let me. Around 10, I started house sitting for neighbors' dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and birds. Our family had two cats when I was young, Gaby and Spunky, who due to health issues only lived with us a few years. However, they laid the groundwork for a love and appreciation for cats too! When I was in high school, my family adopted our first dog, a bichon named Savannah. After graduating college, Savannah became my dog and moved in with me. She and I enjoyed over a decade together before she passed just shy of 15. During that time, we lived with 8 different dogs (and their owners) who came in all breeds and sizes, from a mini horse-sized golden retriever to a shih tzu, shepherd and pit mixes, and a hound who loved to sing with us. I still see many of them on a regular basis! I now live with a cat (belonging to a roommate) who I enjoy playing with often and occasionally I get to give her a few scratches, if she's in the mood. In addition to the dogs I've lived with, I have regularly house sat for friends and family. I respect the trust that you put in me to care for both your pet and your home. I am not only there to provide care but also to provide consistency for your pet and peace of mind for you. I enjoy teaching and reinforcing basic training and make a concerted effort to educate myself on dog and cat behavior so I can be the best communicator possible. You will always be their favorite person. But no matter your pet or their needs, I'm excited to become their second favorite person! I work full-time and understand the challenges that can bring to a busy home. But with a flexible lunch schedule and open evenings, I am excited to be there for you and your friends. It is your home and I am a guest in it. I care not only about your pet's well-being but about your peace of mind. You should be able to come home assured that your pets were thoroughly loved, thoughtfully looked after, and your space was respected. When it comes to your pet, you know them best and I will always take my lead from you! Having lived with multiple dogs with varying degrees of training and personalities, I know each pet has specific quirks and needs within the home to stay safe. Maybe it's keeping the bathroom door shut or keeping food off counters. Maybe it's ensuring they don't bolt through an open door or that they get their medication on time. You can be comfortable knowing I genuinely will treat your pet as my own while they are in my care.

“Jordyn did well with all the instructions given for walking my dog, Lucas. She came right on time and walked him through my community. I would recommend Jordyn and would use her services again.”

“Mary was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Yesterday she took care of our dogs all day during our wedding. She checked in on them three times and even delivered our dogs to our wedding venue so our brother could walk our dogs down the aisle during the ceremony. She hung out for the wedding, and then delivered them back to our hotel. She was so pleasant, followed every recommendation and request we made, and our dogs were so well cared for! She even went above and beyond walking the dogs for a long time before and after the wedding! If we lived locally in Newport News we would DEFINITELY us her again. I highly recommend her and her services!”

About: I have a year of hands on pet care experience and a real passion for understanding each dog’s unique needs. I’m comfortable working with both playful puppies and senior dogs, using positive training for the little ones and gentle care for older pups. I stay up to date on the best ways to keep dogs happy and healthy, and I always aim to build strong, trusting relationships with both pets and their people. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine, especially since I work part-time as a certified nursing assistant. My flexible schedule allows me to dedicate quality time to each pet, whether it’s daily walks, playtime, training, or just some extra snuggles. Caring for others is a big part of who I am whether it’s people or pets so making time for animals in my routine feels like second nature. When caring for pets in my home, I treat them like part of the family. I have one friendly dog who enjoys the company of other pups, and there’s a designated dog walking area in my complex where we can safely get exercise and fresh air. I stick to the pet’s usual routine as much as possible, including feeding, playtime, and rest. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all care instructions closely to make sure their pet feels comfortable and secure. Whether in my home or theirs, I focus on keeping pets happy, healthy, and loved.

Northampton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Anna was awesome with my pup who is super nervous with new people. By the end he was begging for pets!!

Sam came faithfully each day she was scheduled to walk Molly. She adjusted the length of the walk according to how hot it was and how Molly was acting.. Great communication after each walk with pictures included. We love having Sam care for Molly!

Amira was absolutely amazing! She even met my doggies for a meet & greet and was a match right then and there! Her daily updates calmed my anxiety about leaving them alone for a couple of days. I would highly recommend her and would love to work with her again. 🤗🤗
