About: I've been taking care of pets - dogs, cats, birds - since I was 7. I know how stressful it is when you have a long day and worry about your baby being alone too long. Or when you want to go away for a few days but fret about ensuring your dog is in good hands. I've petsat for multiple friends dozens of times over the past 8-10 years, and anyone who knows me will vouch for my love of animals, dependability, and trustworthiness. I have a lot of experience with older dogs, such administering medications and taking any extra time they need. I will treat your baby as if they were my own, with love, great care, and fun. I am semi retired, and am currently training to be an ESL teacher. I live in North Truro April through October and am home most every single day, so have a very flexible schedule. I treat each dog under my care for as if it were my own. For a drop-in visit I will ensure your baby will have a potty break, fresh water, lights on (if evening), and plenty of attention and interaction. Walks in town or near roads will always be on-leash. If your baby loves the beach or dog park and is safe off-leash, we will have great fun there! If boarding, my condo is not fenced, so any dog who is not off-leash trained with excellent recall will be on leash every time we step outside. I live across the street from the beach, so daily beach walks are guaranteed!

About: I had a dog for over 13 years! After she passed away from lymphoma cancer, I told myself I’d give the love my dog gave me to other cute animals! She taught me patience and love like no other! I have the unique advantage of taking online classes and working from home, which means I can dedicate more time to your animal. About: From childhood family dogs, to years of fostering, to many foster fails, and adoption of rescue animals, I have compassion for all shapes sizes, breeds and am comfortable with dealing with all needs of any dog. I do excel at being the one in control when it comes to l training, to have dogs keep focus on me rather than on the distractions around them. I also can read physical and social cues very well to understand when the dog needs to separate or are overstimulated or is just tired and need a break from human or other animal contact. Or all contact at in general. I currently work in a restaurant seasonly. So currently my schedule in the winter is very flexible and very open. Anywhere from daily check-in’s or a few walks a week or all of the above I am flexible to make your schedule work with mine. I do prefer for longer visit to care for pets in their own home and own walk schedule and routine with what they are comfortable with. My home is very small with a dog of my own, although have a fence in yard and have separation barriers. I prefer to keep your dogs in their most comfortable environment.

About: I genuinely love animals, which is why i’ve been pet sitting (cats/dogs/exotics) and dog walking for neighbors, family, and friends for years. My passion for animals has lead me to a career in wildlife and throughout my jobs I’ve cared for all sorts of mammals, birds, and reptiles. I walk a maximum of two dogs at a time, ensuring your pup gets plenty of attention and one-on-one playtime. When boarding, I care for only one dog per stay, providing an stress-free, personalized experience. I am CPR-certified and take hygiene seriously—your dog’s paws will always be cleaned and moisturized, their teeth brushed daily, and their coat well-groomed. After a full day of activities, your pup will also enjoy a relaxing massage—I’ve yet to meet a dog that doesn’t love it! I also make my own healthy, homemade dog treats (just let me know of any allergies your pup may have). Your pup’s happiness, safety, and well-being are my top priorities! 🐾 Currently, I’m studying to become a Holistic Medicine Practitioner, which means I work from home and your dog will never be left alone. Walks happen every two hours, giving your pup plenty of exercise while I take study breaks. I live right across from Charles River Esplanade and two blocks away from the Commonwealth mall. Safety is my biggest priority, my apartment is Dog proof and your dog will not be left alone for more than an hour. Plus, I’ll send you frequent updates and adorable photos throughout the day!

About: Hi! My name is Sophia and I am a year round Truro resident. I have interned and worked with several local organizations like the Center for Coastal Studies, the Dolphin Fleet and the National Seashore. I’m a big animal lover and really enjoy going on walks exploring the fire roads and beaches with four legged company! I have several references in Ptown and Truro, and love spending time with pets of any age or size. Your pets safety and well-being is my highest priority and I have experiences sitting pets with special needs. Whatever your routine is, I’ll keep it running smoothly. After that I will be working with the National Seashore in water quality monitoring and will mostly be available at night (after 4:30pm) during the week and flexible on weekends. About: I grew up with dogs since I have memory. I've pet sit for my family. When I moved to Cape Cod I started helping out my coworkers with their pets taking them for walks and staying over to take care of them when they had to be away . I can be flexible when is about taking them for an hour walk, but preferably I will take bookings after 5pm I am free from my official job. Unfurnately I can't have pets in my home (landlord's rules), but i will happily take care of them in their home and follow care instructions of the owner.

About: I am living in Concord while I apply to law schools. My family has had dogs my whole life. I have always been an animal person. I grew up around horses and have always had 2 large dogs. I have never met a dog I didn’t get along with. I am available pretty much all the time. I do not work currently, so I can focus on my studying and applications! I am available for dog walks or visits, or dog sitting! My family has two standard poodles. One is 7 and the other is 14. My parents are getting older, so I walk them daily. I will follow all instructions for any dog I am walking. One of my dogs is extremely old, so I have a lot of experience with elderly dogs.

About: I’m an active, young, professional, animal lover! Coming from a family of animal enthusiasts, I was lucky enough to take care of our 4 dogs, 3 Guinea pigs, 2 parakeets, and plenty of fish during childhood. I have experience working with the Brewster animal shelter as a volunteer, as well as with the wildlife sanctuary in Orleans. These opportunities along with my household of pets has given me a wealth of knowledge on how to properly handle animals of every size. My experience with handling dogs is wide, ranging from taking care of a 12 pound blind miniature pinscher, to an 80 pound energetic lab mix. No dog is too big or too small! I have experience with elder dogs, puppies, as well as dogs with both physical and mental disabilities. My animals have a large range of dietary needs so I am familiar with specialized feeding protocols as well as administrating medications. I have experience in training my own animals, so I am comfortable working with animals with mild behavioral issues and different temperaments. Eastham is my hometown but I work in Boston during the academic calendar year. During the school year, I use my visits home to send time with my dogs and take them for walks! I try to visit at least every other week and if I can’t make it, I end up sitting myself down in the Commons to dog watch. I will be home for the summer months and I’m excited to surround myself with animals again! My home has a fenced in back yard to allow our animals the freedom to run and get some exercise. I’m comfortable with crating as my family has crate trained all of our furry friends.
