About: I’ve been around all sorts of dogs & personalities since I was little, taking care of family & friends pets brings me joy. For some reason, dogs take a certain liking to me as I can empathize with them. I don’t see a pet, I see an innocent soul who’s ready to give love or be silly, or just want to chill. I work remotely throughout the day (laptop + WiFi is all I need) but, I have plenty of time for a set schedule to take care of pets. Having a timed schedule is important to make sure we’re all on the same page. Weekends are where I have the most flexibility of course. Moving from Tampa back to Miami, I live an active lifestyle. So I have no problem going on runs and taking your babies to the nearest dog park for some activity. We’re getting our steps today 👏🏾

About: I’ve fostered dogs and cats, helped rescue strays, and friends and family often count on me to walk or pet sit when they’re out or busy. I currently have a work from home job. Usually available at most times, just need prior notification and I can usually make it, I'm flexible. I treat every pet like they're my own—whether it's in my home or someone else's. I make sure the environment is calm and safe. I keep doors and gates secure, watch closely during walks, and follow any specific routines or instructions the owner provides. I'm big on trust, so I always communicate and send updates.

“Lissmay is very responsive, proactive, kind, and asks all questions in advance to ensure a smooth visit. My dog looked very happy in the videos and photos she sent me! I also really appreciated her constant updates.”

About: Hi, I am friendly, responsible, hard-working, and I love dogs! I have taken animal science courses where I learned what foods/plants are toxic to dogs, along with how to deal with different types of dog behavior. I have been a dog owner for over 10 years and have taken care of friends' and family members' dogs on numerous occasions. In addition, I volunteered at the Alachua County Humane Society for two years and volunteered as a foster parent. As a foster parent I took care of dogs that needed special individualized attention in order to help them get adopted. I have also administered medicine as well as insulin shots. Please feel free to contact me if you would like additional information. I work from home most days and can go on walk and let your pet out to the yard whenever they like a sniff or walking break. I have a fenced yard and while I have two small pups of my own, I can separate the pups if needed. Let me know if there are any safety concerns you are worried about.

About: Ive had a childhood dog for 8 years, then got my own saint bernard mix puppy i raised from 8 weeks to adulthood. Friends trust me with their staffys, Frenchies, poodles in the past. I also have fostered kittens. I only work weekends (2 days) so during the week and before work on weekends im fully available to cater to your and your pet(s) :) I have no kids or pets and live in a pet friendly, residential building. My condo is laid out pet friendly and spacious where they can run around the living room (or put in crated area if you prefer). Downstairs people walk their dogs as there is a ton of grassy areas for them to play.

About: Hello! My name is Faith Mickley and I am looking to help other animal owners out. I have had over 20 dogs come in and out of my house hold since I was little. Me and my family believe in fostering so dogs have a nice home before their forever home. This means I have worked with many different types of dogs. I can adjust to any specifications you have, large or small, old or young. I would love to be your morning dog walker, weekend sitter, or even just someone who you can rely on to come with 30 minute notice to help out with your animals if i am not working. My goal is to become your reliable dog sitter outside of rover one day! I just moved to Miami and my schedule is fully open. Please just let me know when you need me and I will be there for you and your pup! I have been taught a handful of valuable vet care practices from my sister who works in animal care. I can call on her for any animal emergencies.

About: I have been fostering dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens ever since I was 13 years old. I have aspirations of becoming a veterinarian so my love for animals goes far deeper than just thinking they’re adorable! I care about their health, hygiene, and well being. I currently work at Scenthound, so I have been able to gain a lot of experience with handling all types of dogs. Ranging from very reactive and excited dogs to fearful/aggressive dogs. I am very patient with animals and will always treat them like my own. I am currently in school, so my availability is open on weekdays in the afternoon. My last class ends around 12 p.m. My pet care schedule is very flexible, so I can definitely work with different times. I care for pets in others homes by making sure to follow in detail everything that the owners ask of me. I always respect the client’s home and personal things. I also go out of my way to make the pets that I am watching feel safe and loved under my care.

“John does a fantastic job patiently working with my nervous dog to gain his trust. It's a slow process and John has been kind, understanding, and willing to help Liam become a more confident dog. I'm so grateful for John's kindness!”

“Nina was really great when I had to leave out of town. I was called into a work trip and she was available last minute. She has a positive attitude and I felt like my dog was in good hands. Will book her again.”

About: It is impossible for me not to fall in love with every dog that I meet! I have been dog/cat sitting since 2010. I have history caring for puppies, seniors, small, and large dogs. I have completed Good Dog Bad Dog training twice. I have trained all three of my dogs to walk properly on a leash, sit, stay, place, "leave it," and shake. I started to volunteer at the Humane Society of Greater Miami in 2013 (I adopted one of my dogs from there). I currently have two dogs of my own, and they mean the world to me. I promise to treat your pooch(s) with as much care and attention as I do my own. I take care of my dogs at home, and I leave the rest of the day open to care for your animals. I have a wide opened schedule. I have a large fenced in backyard. No pool or anyway for the dogs to get out of the backyard. The fence is just under 6 feet.

Jackie P.
“I am a longtime user of Rover and I cannot think of a better person to take care of your pet than Jackie. She is loving, playful, and caring. She has a very special relationship with my dog Alfie. He knows he can always have a great time when she's around whether it is snuggling on the couch, going to the beach, or playing at the park. Whenever I say Jackie's name he gets visibly excited!! She has great availability to do check ins and walks as well which is great for me because I work late hours. She has a dog of her own and can handle multiple dogs which is fun because Alfie can have a playmate when I'm gone. Jackie is a kind, fun, and creative person and I can't imagine a better person to love and care for your fur baby.”

Betina is an absolutely amazing dog walker! She is punctual, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. My dog, who can be a bit shy, warmed up to her immediately, and I can tell he always comes back from their walks happy and well-exercised. Betina goes above and beyond by providing updates and even a few photos, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a caring and professional dog walker!

Janelle has been wonderful with our dog, Percy. He is a rescue and can be quite timid with new people, but she has been very warm, patient, and caring with him. Exactly what he needs. She will be keeping him while we are away and we feel confident that he will be in great hands. Highly recommend Janelle for her services.
