About: I am a big time dog lover, with lots of experience under my belt. I have grown up with lots of dogs and continued my passion for animals by become a dog trainer. I have been a certified dog trainer for 6 years, I worked at a board and train facility, and the last 4 years I have trained service dogs for a nonprofit. I am certified through Animal Behavior College, Service Dog Coach, and the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers as a trainer and dog behaviorist. I only use positive reinforcement with my clients and their dogs. If you would prefer I use aversive equipment such as a prong, choke or shock collar, or aversive techniques I would prefer you find a different dog walker. If you are open to using positive equipment, I can give you more detailed information on equipment I recommend when I meet you and your dog. If you have any questions please reach out, I would love to help you and your four legged friend! I can be very flexible with my schedule. Please send requests early, and check my calendar for availability. My availability may be subject to change but if you are a recurring client I will work with you to find the best time that fits both of our schedules and needs. About: My girlfriend and I had our dog for 10 years (adopted at 4 from the SPCA). She was the greatest dog and died of liver cancer early this year. It was an awesome privilege to grow up with her. I'm not going to take up this space mentioning all the cute little details of our lives, but know that i enjoyed every bit of it. I know the ups and downs of a dogs life and can channel that energy. Our dog Keiko got sick multiple times and through Iriving pet hospital and a certain doctor we were able to care for her in a way that made us realize a dog's resilience. I mean she went from 40 pounds to 50 to 30. Skin issues, and eventually cancer. But we stuck with it, learned a lot and eventually made that decision when it was time. So that love is there. I work from home, so depening on your schedule, we can work out something. Just message me, and I am confident we can make something work. Thanks. With our dog, we had a backyard that was fenced. So that was extremely helpful. We also had a dog fence outside of our door. I'm familiar with pads if necessary. We always walked our dog outside on leash unless she was at the beach. But I realize this varies for every dog. Also, if you read my profile, I want you to know that my girlfriend and I have lost our dog earlier this year. If it is comfortable with you, we can both combine to walk your dog if that helps. Obviously we aren't looking for any extra compensation. It's just that we are great with dogs and want to make sure your dog feels cool. Just an option to consider.

All bookings are covered by Rover's Guarantee (up to $25,000 for eligible vet expenses). • Pricing adjustments: I do charge additional fees for certain situations to ensure I can provide the best care: Small: Base Rate Medium dogs: (30-60 lbs): +$15 Large dogs (60-90 lbs): +$20 Giant dogs (90-200 lbs): +$100 Puppies under 1 year (not potty trained): +$125 Why the large/giant dog fees? I want to be transparent about this. • Decline other reservations: due to the lack of space, I might need to be forced to cancel other reservations to ensure we have adequate space for your furry friend. • Space & capacity: When I host a large or giant breed, it often means I can only take one other pet (or sometimes no other pets) to ensure everyone has adequate space and comfort. This limits my availability for other bookings. • Physical demands: Larger dogs require more physical strength and energy – from handling on walks to managing their movements indoors. It's more intensive work to provide the attentive, hands-on care they deserve. • Wear and resources: Bigger dogs naturally need more of everything – more food, more space, more cleanup. They also create more wear on furniture, floors, and the home environment. • Individual attention: Every dog gets my full focus, but larger dogs often need extra time and specialized care to ensure they're comfortable and happy in my home. This pricing ensures I can give your large or giant dog the quality, individualized attention they deserve without compromising on care. Why the puppy fee? Puppies are wonderful, but they need specialized care! I take your pup out every 30 minutes to support their potty training and help them develop good habits. It's hands-on work, but it makes a real difference. If your puppy is already crate and potty trained, I'm happy to waive this fee. Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning: We start the day with a refreshing morning walk to get those legs moving and set a positive tone for the day. Throughout the day: Your dog will get regular potty breaks in my backyard all morning long. Since I work from home, I'm always here to let them out when they need it. Evening: When the weather's nice, we'll wind down with an evening walk to stretch, explore, and burn off any remaining energy. This is the exact routine I followed with my own dog, and it worked wonders for his potty training. He learned to trust that I'd take him out when needed, and I learned to trust that he'd wait. It's all about consistency and communication! Your dog will seamlessly become part of my daily rhythm – same love, same care, same attention I gave my own. They're not just a guest; they're family while they're here. 🐕❤️ 🐣They will be in a safe and secure environment, where no dog will be distressed. I prioritize understanding each dog's behavior by discussing their temperament with clients and taking proactive measures to ensure a calm and harmonious atmosphere. About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends since I was thirteen years old. I would feed cats and dogs as well as walk dogs.
