“Kaitlyn took great care of our two dog and cat and kept us super informed on what they were all up to while we were away. Made our trip that much more stress-free!”

“Christina recently stayed in our home for two nights and took excellent care of our 2 petite golden doodles. She kept our home very neat and tidy and sent several photos of the dogs along with updates on how they were doing throughout the weekend. She was very prompt in responding anytime I reached out, which I very much appreciated since this is the first time we have left them with someone other than family?”

“Grace did an amazing job taking care of Buko and Paya this past weekend. She handled feeding and walks perfectly, and even helped with a few things around the house, like watering plants and picking up the mail. She also kept in touch by text and even sent a few pictures. It made the whole trip so much easier knowing everything was in good hands. I’d gladly have her back again.”

“Chelsea was wonderful with my two dogs while we were away. She is very conscientious and the house was in perfect order when we returned. I would highly recommend Chelsea and would love to have her housesit for us again.”

“Shauna was amazing. Her communication was excellent. She was always quick to respond, she sent us regular photos and updates, and asked thoughtful questions. Our dog seemed comfortable around her immediately and enjoyed snuggling and going on walks with her. She went above and beyond while taking care of our house and our pets, and we would absolutely love to work with her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I am a big time dog lover, with lots of experience under my belt. I have grown up with lots of dogs and continued my passion for animals by become a dog trainer. I have been a certified dog trainer for 6 years, I worked at a board and train facility, and the last 4 years I have trained service dogs for a nonprofit. I am certified through Animal Behavior College, Service Dog Coach, and the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers as a trainer and dog behaviorist. I only use positive reinforcement with my clients and their dogs. If you would prefer I use aversive equipment such as a prong, choke or shock collar, or aversive techniques I would prefer you find a different dog walker. If you are open to using positive equipment, I can give you more detailed information on equipment I recommend when I meet you and your dog. If you have any questions please reach out, I would love to help you and your four legged friend! I can be very flexible with my schedule. Please send requests early, and check my calendar for availability. My availability may be subject to change but if you are a recurring client I will work with you to find the best time that fits both of our schedules and needs. I treat and care for the dogs as if they were my own. I understand how unsettling it can be to put your dog in the hands of a stranger. So you will be getting lots of updates and if you have any concerns or questions please communicate them to me.
“Dalene is our dogs’ fairy godmother! They get so excited when she comes to feed and play with them. She notices everything about their little personalities and quirks and they completely trust her. We are so lucky we found her!”

“We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive. Our cats are typically very anxious and don’t warm up to new people easily, but she was incredibly patient and gentle with them. By the end of our trip, they were comfortable and even snuggly with her, which really says a lot. She treats your pets like her own and consistently goes above and beyond what’s asked. As anxious pet parents, it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She also provided regular, detailed updates, which helped us feel connected and reassured while we were away. We’re so grateful for the care she gave our pets and will definitely be using her again. If you’re looking for someone who will love your pets, understand their quirks, and keep you sane while you’re away—she’s it. 10/10, no notes.”

About: I'm a former 4H member which means I've not only taken care of a variety of animals, I've also shown them in competitions. I have personal experience taking care of Dogs, Cats, Horses, Birds, Rabbits & Rodents, and even Fish. I have owned and cared for many animals throughout my life, most of them have lived to old age--don't you just wish they could live forever? I am happy to take care of your loved ones as if they were my own for however long you need to be away from home. I am currently on Leave of Absence from work due to health issues which means I have all day and night to spend with your critters. I will follow your care instructions as closely as humanly possible! Need me to cuddle them during a storm? "Cook" their food before serving it? Shove a pill in a hotdog? Give your pet an IV bag? Been there, done that. Whatever they need, I'm there.
About: ⚠️ PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING ⚠️ To ensure we're a good fit and to respect both our time, please review my pricing and policies below before reaching out. Thank you! Welcome! I'm so glad you're here 🐾 Why families choose me I know how hard it is to leave your furry family member with someone new. That's why I'd love for you to visit my home before booking – see where your pet will stay, meet me in person, and get a feel for the environment. No pressure, just peace of mind. Here's what makes my care different: I only take two to three pets at a time. Yes, I have space for more, but I intentionally keep things small. Your pet isn't just another booking; they get my full attention, a calm environment, and the kind of care I'd want for my own pet. Since I work from home, your pet is never alone. If your pup has separation anxiety or just loves company, they'll have me nearby all day. I genuinely treat every guest like they're part of my family. What you can expect • Photos you'll actually love: I take pride in capturing beautiful moments of your pet. Check out my profile photos – that's the quality you'll get! I want you to see your pet's personality shine and know they're happy and loved. • Real communication: During business hours, you can call me anytime. Need an update? Have a question? I'm here. Your peace of mind matters. • A spotless home: My place is deep-cleaned weekly. It's fresh, odor-free, and hygienic. You're always welcome to visit! Just a heads up – I do ask guests to remove shoes to keep things pristine. • Safe outdoor space: The backyard has seven gorgeous redwood trees that provide tons of shade. That said, your pup will spend most of their time inside with me, where it's cool and comfortable. I never leave dogs unsupervised outside for extended periods. • A calm, quiet home: No young kids, and no elderly family members. Just a peaceful space where your pet can relax and be the star of the show. • No pool: One less thing to worry about! Safety first. Important details about care & pricing • Veterinary care: If I notice anything concerning about your pet's health, I'll contact you immediately (and Rover). If I can't reach you, I'll take them to the vet. All bookings are covered by Rover's Guarantee (up to $25,000 for eligible vet expenses). • Pricing adjustments: I do charge additional fees for certain situations to ensure I can provide the best care: Small: Base Rate Medium dogs: (30-60 lbs): +$15 Large dogs (60-90 lbs): +$20 Giant dogs (90-200 lbs): +$100 Puppies under 1 year (not potty trained): +$125 Why the large/giant dog fees? I want to be transparent about this. • Decline other reservations: due to the lack of space, I might need to be forced to cancel other reservations to ensure we have adequate space for your furry friend. • Space & capacity: When I host a large or giant breed, it often means I can only take one other pet (or sometimes no other pets) to ensure everyone has adequate space and comfort. This limits my availability for other bookings. • Physical demands: Larger dogs require more physical strength and energy – from handling on walks to managing their movements indoors. It's more intensive work to provide the attentive, hands-on care they deserve. • Wear and resources: Bigger dogs naturally need more of everything – more food, more space, more cleanup. They also create more wear on furniture, floors, and the home environment. • Individual attention: Every dog gets my full focus, but larger dogs often need extra time and specialized care to ensure they're comfortable and happy in my home. This pricing ensures I can give your large or giant dog the quality, individualized attention they deserve without compromising on care. Why the puppy fee? Puppies are wonderful, but they need specialized care! I take your pup out every 30 minutes to support their potty training and help them develop good habits. It's hands-on work, but it makes a real difference. If your puppy is already crate and potty trained, I'm happy to waive this fee. Again, please review these details before reaching out so we can make sure we're the right fit for your pet! I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! 🐕💕 A day in the life with me 🌅 I'm naturally an early riser, which works out perfectly for your pup! Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning: We start the day with a refreshing morning walk to get those legs moving and set a positive tone for the day. Throughout the day: Your dog will get regular potty breaks in my backyard all morning long. Since I work from home, I'm always here to let them out when they need it. Evening: When the weather's nice, we'll wind down with an evening walk to stretch, explore, and burn off any remaining energy. This is the exact routine I followed with my own dog, and it worked wonders for his potty training. He learned to trust that I'd take him out when needed, and I learned to trust that he'd wait. It's all about consistency and communication! Your dog will seamlessly become part of my daily rhythm – same love, same care, same attention I gave my own. They're not just a guest; they're family while they're here. 🐕❤️ 🐣They will be in a safe and secure environment, where no dog will be distressed. I prioritize understanding each dog's behavior by discussing their temperament with clients and taking proactive measures to ensure a calm and harmonious atmosphere. This is why I limit the number of dogs to a maximum of two per night, to maintain individual attention and safety for all pets involved.
“Jace is just the best. I always feel so secure when he’s with my girls. This was my longest time away from them—six days—and knowing Jace was with them totally eased my mind. He sent pictures and updates and took great care of my home too. Can’t recommend him more highly!”

“We have 2 senior dogs and had our 3 y/o frenchie granddog that Faith cared for through the holidays. We came home to 3 well cared for pups. I will be happy to use her in the future. She is responsible and has a gentle way with the senior dogs. She comes highly recommended!”
About: What sets me apart is that I’m not just a pet sitter — I’m also a dog groomer, so I’m very comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I’m calm, patient, and used to making sure pets feel safe and relaxed, even in new situations. I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends and family, including senior pets and pets who need medication. I’m really detail-oriented with routines and always make sure pets are fed, walked, and cared for just the way their owners prefer. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine since I work part-time. I’m available anytime on weekends and Wednesdays, and I have flexibility on other weekdays depending on my work schedule. I’m also available for overnight stays. Since I already help care for my brother’s dog and cat at home, pet care is a regular part of my life, and I’m used to keeping consistent routines and making sure pets are well looked after. I provide calm, attentive, and reliable care by following each pet’s routine exactly as instructed so they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. In a client’s home, I focus on consistency with feeding, walks, playtime, and affection, while also handling cleaning, waste care, and any special instructions such as medication or senior pet needs. I’m very detail-oriented and make sure nothing is missed, and I prioritize clear communication so owners always feel at ease while they’re away. At home, I regularly help care for my brother’s dog and cat, which keeps me very familiar with daily pet routines and different personalities.
“Ryan was a totally awesome dog/house sitter. She is the only one of my dog/house sitters to completely follow my dog/house instructions including watering the yard and making sure the pool sweeper was programmed and running. Will definitely be re-booking for my next cruise. My kids (brother and sister pitbulls) did great with her.”

Hoover pet parents share their Rover experiences
Renee was awesome. She did everything that she said she would. Our little girl Trina took to Renee and that gave us peace of mind while we were out of town. We even had an unexpected change in plans in the middle of our vacation and she was very accommodating. We recommend her and would definitely use her again.

I have nothing but great things to say about Emma. She does a great job, is kind to my pets and even goes out of her way to be kind. My cat got hurt and we noticed it on the day we were leaving, Emma, took my cat to the vet when she needed care and looked after her so I didn’t have to cancel my trip. I finally feel ok leaving them…
Kate took good care of our dogs while we were away! The only issue we had was that we weren't expecting her to leave at 10:00 pm to grab some dinner the second night. When our door cam showed her leaving at 10:00 pm we became concerned that she was leaving for the night not realizing she planned to come back a few hours later and stay the second night.
Faith was great! However, we just moved to Clovis, so my dog has been stubborn. Faith was unable to get him out of our bedroom. She ended up cancelling that night because she was supposed to come the next day as well. I did really appreciate her honesty because she said she didn't want to get paid since she wasn't able to provide the services I needed.

Karizma has been taking care of our anxious, rescued Shepherd mix dog for several years now. We don’t trust anyone else! The level of care and attention that Karizma shows taking care of our dog is simply unmatched. She has helped socialize and train our dog where we were unsuccessful, and we are incredibly grateful for her! Her vet training also helps us reassure us that our girl is always safe. Thank you so much Karizma, I don’t know what we would do without you!

This was our first time leaving our nervous dog with anyone and Sophia was great with her! Our dog warmed up to her quicker than most new people she meets. Sophia made sure to keep our dog exercised, fed, safe and loved. We would definitely have her as a dog sitter again!

Ryan is amazing and I feel fortunate to have found her. My cat Peaches, is an independent girl, but I can’t leave her alone and not worry. Ryan is thoughtful and communicative. I appreciate her and feel at ease having her take care of my home and Peaches! I highly recommend her (thank you Ryan).

Maria was great watching my cockerspaniel, it always takes him a while to warm up to new people but within 5 minutes he was comfortable and going over for her to pet him. She came by ahead of the arrangement to meet him to make the transition easier. She kept me updated by text and pictures. I recommend her for your pet sitting needs!

Cathy did a great job Cleo is having a hard time eating regularly after a few teeth were pull a week before we left. Cathy did a great job trying to get her to eat. She kept me updated on Cleo each day which greatly reduced my stress. By the time i got home she was eatly regularly again. The house was left in perfect condition. I highly recommend Cathy.
