I've been a trusted housesitter for friends and family for over 21 years. All by word of mouth. I love to housesit and care for animals. I'm meticulous and thorough. I communicate daily with updates, concerns, good news and photos if requested. I can and will work with animals who may have behavioral issues. I have experience with dogs and cats with aggression or skittish personalities.

Unfortunately I do not care for pets in my home. I have experience with all shapes, sizes, and types of animals. If you are unsure of your pet, please ask. Chances are I have worked with that type before. I'll care for your animals and your house just like you would yourself. I do ask for a detailed list of what needs to be done and how you care for your pet, to avoid disrupting their schedule. I care for plant babies too!

Shauna was great. She’s on time, friendly and made us feel comfortable to leave our fur babies in her care. She kept in communication and gave us updates without having to ask first. We have two senior pit bulls, one needs daily medication and the other needs constant attention. Neither dog has ever been with anyone besides family so I was a little nervous. But she understood their issues and handled both beautifully. I wish we hadn’t waited so long to book her for our other vacation. I would definitely recommend her to care for your animals.
Wow! Shauna was super with my two dogs. Right away they greeted Shauna and let her pet them and give them treats! Shauna sent photos and updates throughout our evening away. I highly recommend Shauna for your dog sitting and house sitting needs!

Schedule
I'm currently free to sit all day and overnight until the foreseeable future. Also I'm okay with long stays over 2 weeks + just give me your dates and I can check and hopefully confirm availability. Will travel within California.
