“I was nervous about having to leave both my girls with a stranger. They've only stayed with my mom when I've needed it. Both my dog and my cat are seniors and can be crabby with new people. My dog, especially has been unsure about men her whole life. Long story short, my girls loved her, her husband and son. Rachel came over for a walk first to meet them, and she just had a really calming vibe. Even my normally reserved 2 year old was going up and showing her his toys. When I came over with Sadie to check out her home and meet other family members, my dog was excited, wagging her tail and making herself right at home. She has 2 rooms that she has dedicated as cat hotels where she has thought of what they may need to feel comfortable. She kept me up to date throughout the weekend that we were gone.
