Pet-Loving Family, In-Home Care
I am retired but still active and have cared for many pets throughout my life -- from dogs and cats to guinea pigs and bunnies. We currently have three adult humans and 2 pets living in our home with whom we are all very close. Joxer is a 14-year old gregarious Chihuahua and our cat, Jemima, is a friendly 8-year old calico. Their "people" include myself, my husband and my adult daughter who works at Mud Bay Pets and is somewhat of a pet care expert. I spend most of my time here at home and care for our pets on a daily basis. They have both been around other cats and small and medium-sized dogs and gotten along well after an initial introductory period. We have a fenced backyard and I am also able to take dogs for walks in my neighborhood.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible. I am retired and I don't have transportation most days so I am available to care for your pet almost all day, every day. Sometimes I have appointments or need to run errands, but my husband is usually here during those times.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and a large home. Most of the time my pets are in the living and family room areas which are all connected so it is easy to keep watch over them. Our dog sleeps downstairs with my daughter in her apartment and the cat sleeps upstairs with me. If we have your pet boarding overnight it would sleep in the living room which is also where I would sleep for the duration of their stay.

A typical day
Indoors, I love taking part in pet play times with toys, tricks and treats. Outdoors, I enjoy walks and exploring our yard and neighborhood with pets.
