Safety, trust & environment

I care for dogs in my home in a calm, dog-only daycare environment (no dog sitting in clients' homes). My household includes an easygoing 11-year-old pug, Milo, and two friendly cats, Jewel (7) and Oliver (1); all are well-socialized and tolerant of visiting small dogs. I accept only small dogs under 25 lbs with friendly, social temperaments to ensure safe, relaxed interactions. In-home routine and care: - Introductions: Gradual, supervised meet-and-greet on arrival to assess comfort and body language. - Supervision: Constant, close supervision during play with separation options (gates/rooms/crates) if any stress appears. - Exercise & enrichment: Leashed walks, short play sessions, and puzzle toys tailored to each dog’s energy level. - Rest & space: Multiple cozy resting areas and quiet time for seniors or shy dogs. Feeding & meds: Individual feeding by schedule; medication administered as directed with written instructions. - Hygiene & safety: Clean, dog-proofed spaces; fresh water always available; immediate cleanup of accidents. - Communication: Photo updates and a brief report after each day covering potty, play, meals, behavior, and any concerns. I prioritize calm, supervised socialization and a stress-free routine to make visiting dogs feel safe and happy alongside Milo, Jewel, and Oliver.

Information Scott H. would like to know about your pet

Please share vaccinations, medical conditions, medications (with dosing), and any food or separation anxieties. Tell me your dog’s energy level, play style, recall reliability, and greetings with people/other dogs. Notify me of leash reactivity, resource guarding, or past bites. Arrange a required social-visit beforehand so I can assess temperament and introduce your dog to Milo, Jewel, and Oliver. I’ll match routines, feeding times, and calm arrival/drop-off procedures to keep visits low‑stress for everyone.

A typical day

I tailor activities to each small dog’s energy and personality: gentle walks around the neighborhood, short supervised games of fetch or tug, supervised social hangouts on the deck, puzzle toys and scent games for mental stimulation, and plenty of calm cuddle-and-lounge time indoors. For seniors or low-energy pups I focus on slow strolls, joint-friendly play, massage and comfy rest spots. I send photos and a brief activity summary so you know exactly how your dog spent their day.

Scott loves his animals. From dogs to cats, he and his family take good care of all the four-legged friends. My little buddy, Billy, a chihuahua, is very picky and doesn't like everyone, but he loves Scott. Any little buddy you have will enjoy his or her time with Scott.
