I primarily work from home. I am now without a dog, but am used to walking and feeding on a regular schedule. Water is always available. Meet and greets required for all new clients (no charge). Daycare requests outside of standard work day may be charged the boarding rate (10+ hours, early drop offs or late pickups).

Dogs are family. I miss my own dogs who have earned their angel wings and welcome pups to spend time with "auntie Leanne." I live in a two-story duplex at the end of a cul-de-sac. I have access to a small unfenced yard and the neighborhood is very walkable to several Olympia City parks.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, including medications or behavior quirks. Let me know if they have diet restrictions and if they have any favorite treats or toys. Dogs must be spayed/neutered, potty trained, and can be safely left home alone (in crate or other). Any exceptions will be charged for constant care (double my base rate). I cannot accept dogs who show symptoms of canine cognitive dysfunction (aka doggy dementia).
A typical day
Neighborhood walks are always part of the daily routine. There is also the possibility of meeting the neighborhood horses or chickens (behind a fence!), visiting a local park, and napping on the couch.

25 years of pet care experience. Available for daycare and boarding. I only accept one client at a time and have no pets at home now so I can give your pooch all the attention they deserve! I've had dogs my entire adult life. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs that range from young to senior. I've trained my own dogs from basic to advanced obedience, agility, and dock diving. I volunteered for dog rescues as a foster parent for nine dogs. I had a therapy dog who logged over 200 volunteer hours. I enjoy walking around the neighborhood with dogs and visiting local parks. Ask me about animal communication and reiki for your dog!

I’m so glad I found Leanne! I needed a last minute sitter and she was available and very accommodating. My dog requires some extra care and Leanne provided that without hesitation. I felt immediately that my dog would be safe and comfortable in her home and she was! I will definitely book with Leanne again.
Leanne was amazing with Junebug. From the start she was kind, attentive and easy to communicate with. JB is a shy boxer, we did a few practice runs before our trip. JB warmed up and fit right in to her new environment. The updates and photos meant so much to me. I'll definitely be booking again! I highly recommend her.

Leanne is an amazing sitter! She was flexible with scheduling a meet and greet before boarding and with the pick up time as we were running a bit late. She was very thorough with asking about my dog Stella’s routine, behavior, and habits during the meet and greet. She communicated with me and responded in a timely manner throughout the whole process from requesting the stay to pick up. She sent updates on Stella everything day, which I greatly appreciate.
