“David R. Is by far the finest Dog Sitter I have encountered in my 30+ years as a pet owner. David cared for my two French bulldogs, Alma and Jessup, for five nights while I attended a conference. David sent comprehensive daily updates along with adorable pictures of my pups. He promptly responded to any questions and all inquiries! I would recommend David to anyone looking to pamper their pets!”

“David was amazing with our three pups and they took to him so well!! Its wonderful to know there is such caring people in the world! Would use and recommend him 1,000x over!!”

“Absolutely wonderful! This was our first stay with her and already booked her to watch our dogs again in the future. She put us at ease with leaving her with our anxious girl but she gave them both so much love. Great at communicating and sending updates/photos!”

“Justina has housesat for us twice now (once for about two weeks and once for a weekend) and watched my two pups and cat. She’s done an awesome job, kept us informed, sent pictures, and left the house very clean. We’ll be using her again anytime we travel!!”

About: I grew up with 2 labradors and a cat for 15 years, and I currently have experience with a 2 year old pitbull. My dad is a veterinarian, so I’ve had a love for animals for as long as I can remember. I have great experience working in 2 veterinary hospitals, so I also know proper animal restraints and signs of sickness or discomfort. I love all kinds of dogs and cats and love spending time playing and being active with them. I’m currently a fully remote employee for a social services nonprofit. This job gives me the needed flexibility to provide the right care for your animal! I’m available on weekdays or weekends for walks or drop-ins. I can come to your home anytime, whether you are home or not, and am very careful to keep your home locked and safe. I love a greeting from your dog or cat right away or to grab them from a crate or room if needed and return them to the same spot once we’re done.
About: Hi, I’m Corrie! I am a responsible, safety-oriented pet care provider with experience effectively managing homes and providing animals with patience and care. Your pets will be in good hands with me present to keep them active and give them the attention they need. I know how stressful it can be to find someone responsible and reliable to take care of your animals and home while you’re away. I'll look to provide a safe and fun environment for your fur babies! I have successfully managed homes and cared for pets including fish, hamsters, rabbits, dogs, and cats. I offer experience feeding, grooming, walking, and cleaning up after animals. I'm happy to execute tasks around the house like routine cleaning and watering plants as needed. I can be depended on to communicate effectively, notify of any issues or injuries, take pets to vet in emergency situations, and administer medication. I am currently a student, and I have open availability to attend to pets and homes during the day and night to meet desired needs. I have 5+ years of experience with pet sitting, feeding, grooming, walking, and cleaning up after animals. I have consistently gotten 5 star reviews on other platforms since 2021. In my walking service, I understand the needs of dogs during walks, including relieving their bodies, exercise, and exploration. Because dogs scan the world through their noses, I seek to be patient and allow dogs to stop, examine, and sniff as they please. I will absolutely step in and pull them away from danger as needed, but I lead with the view that walking times are for your dogs connection with nature and enrichment.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better house / pet sitter! I was out of state visiting family for the weekend, and having someone so reliable and attentive in my home gave me total peace of mind. Knowing both my babies (cat and dog) were so well cared for allowed me to truly relax and enjoy my trip without a worry. I loved receiving regular updates and photos throughout the weekend—it was nice to see my pets happy and comfortable in their own home while I was away. My home was left in wonderful shape, and both of my pets were clearly loved and spoiled. This is the first time I have used Rover for pet sitting and it worked out well. I will book again if needed and highly recommend her for services anyone looking for caring and trustworthy pet care!”

“Khalaya is a very sweet person and took excellent care of my two dogs and cat. This was the first time I've hired someone to come take care of my animals, but she put me at ease when I met her. My dogs were excited to meet her and I felt comfortable leaving them with her for the weekend. She sent me pictures and a video of them while we were gone and they looked relaxed. I'm surprised my cat came out to meet her, but there's photographic evidence that she did! When we returned, our animals were happy and well cared for. They were happy to see us, but there is no doubt in my mind that they enjoyed getting tons of attention while we were away. I would absolutely have her back the next time we travel! Thank you Khalaya!”

“Andrew pays great attention to my fur babies and when I come home I can tell that he has paid attention to them and given them the best care. So grateful to have someone to rely on when I travel and work late”

About: I've been dog sitting since I was 12 years old and have been around dogs my entire life. While I've never owned my own dog, I initially watched my cousin's dogs when they were out of town, but eventually started watching dogs for family friends and within the last 10 years watched my friend's dogs when they've been out of town. Most dogs I would take on walks or let them out to run around in the yard if it's fenced in (if the area isn't great for walking). I will always take care of your dog like it's my own. I work full time Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm so would be available after 5pm or on the weekends if I'm not travelling. I'm originally from Pittsburgh PA and still go back home on some weekends or will visit NYC for a day to visit friends or family. In my clients home I would either take their dogs on a walk around the block (if the area is decent enough) or can let the dogs out in the yard if it's fenced in. I'm very careful when walking dogs and always remember to pick up after them.
About: I’ve been part of a dog owning family since I was 9. I’m 31 now and dogs have become a big part of my life. I dog sit for a family friend of ours all the time. But yeah I’m a huge dog person and love all kinds of dogs. Hopefully this can become a great side gig for me I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pups! Just let me know when you need me and I can easily fit my schedule around yours :) I’ll definitely do all I can to ensure your dogs are safe and happy when they’re with me. I’ll gladly do whatever it is you need in order to make everyone happy
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and understand how they are truly apart of a family. I currently have two Rhodesian ridgebacks back home so I can confidently say I can handle big dogs! From light walking, backyard exercise to taking the dogs on runs, I can make sure that your pups are taken care of and kept happy! I truly love animals and want to provide you with a trustworthy and dedicated helping hand. I am currently in school as a college athlete, so I have large breaks built into my day which can allow me to check in, play with or dog walk! I have a two story house with a backyard, that is in close proximity to local parks and green spaces that make for great play spaces!

“I am so happy I reached out through Rover to Joshua. I have two large dogs and one of them has endless energy, two large cats, a leopard gecko and 10 chickens. Kind of last minute, I decided to take a quick weekend trip. My younger dog is a handful and I was worried that I would not find the person to understand and care for my puppy and all the others. Then I contacted Joshua. Punctual, polite, knowledgeable about breeds and specifics and best of all!?!? Finn likes him. I had a wonderful trip. Joshua sent photos and videos and kept me updated on how everything was at home. He stayed at my home and also hous sat for me. Joshua kept the house the way I keep it. He made ire to collect my mail and some medicine that was accidentally shipped and needed to be refrigerated. I would highly recommend Joshua for both house sitting and keeping a bunch af what most people would refer to as a group of large animals. Thank you Joshua!!!”

“The first of two great stays! Our pets loved her and she took wonderful care and spent hours each day with them keeping them calm and I know they loved her the minute she came by to meet them. Ours are socially anxious with new people, but they immediately loved her. She kept our home clean and tidy and we felt very safe and confident.”
“Wildris is amazing - she send me plenty of pictures & updates throughout the week. She left my house spotless and was so respectful of our home. Would highly recommend for pet/house sitting!”

About: Had my first pet at a young age and I have always shown them love and attention. Love how much they just want to be Love and be Loved. Work part time and have lots of time to Pet Sit. Very flexible with my schedule and this is something that will be perfect for me to do as I love and do well with our Fur Family. I've got a yard with fence around it and for my cats they have a cat litter box on each for so they have easy access to it. I'm very attentive to making sure their cat litter gets scooped up daily to keep them happy, healthy and comfortable.
“We're so thankful we found Robert! As a bit of a neurotic pet parent, and with a whole bunch of special circumstances, we were worried we'd have a hard time trusting anyone to take care of our babies. From the first meet and greet we got a great sense of comfort from Robert, and even the dogs were comfortable with him almost immediately. He was able to take care of our paralyzed 19-year old and kept our other two separate due to behavior issues. We couldn't be happier and would 100% recommend Robert!”

“M is our absolute favorite person to stay with our dog. In addition to the excellent care she gives, M does the little extra things that make being away from home easier. We are so very grateful to have met M and highly recommend her!”

Alec stayed at our home with our dog Phoebe for a week and did an amazing job. We could not be more pleased with how much he cares for Phoebe - she adores him! We are so very fortunate to be able to go away and know our home and our girl will be in the best of hands!

Tracy is amazing! We had to go to West Virginia for the weekend and I didn’t have to worry one bit about our pups getting the best care! Not only did she feed them and let them out, she took time to do some training / games with them and even taught them new things! She was very attentive; sent lots of pictures and videos! Also, when the girls were playing one of them got hurt. She took super good care of her by keeping an eye on it and washed her face daily to ensure no infection! Not only did she take super good care of the pups, we came home to a perfectly maintained home! She did all of the dishes, mopped the floors (since it was snowing and there was salt and marks all over) and even replaced our milk because she used it! We didn't even require any of these things! To say Tracy is awesome is an understatement! We will definitely be using her again!

We were totally comfortable leaving our home and our pets in Kylie’s care while we were away. The photos she send every day kept us feeling close to our fur babies. We returned home to find two happy pets, a neat and tidy home and Kylie even went a step further and watered my flowers and picked the ripe tomatoes! We would definitely use Kylie again. We were comfortable with her upon our first meeting.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred North Catasauqua walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in North Catasauqua maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in North Catasauqua choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
