I have officially been with Rover for four years and I love it here. I have met so many pets with beautiful personalities! My regular clients are amazing people and I love working with them. I look forward to forging new relationships and bonding with your pets! *I have my own separate insurance as a pet sitter through Pet Sitter’s Associates (PSA). For the initial meet and greet I generally like to get a feel for my clients (and vice versa I’m sure!) before we agree to book. We can go through your pet’s schedule (feeding times, walks, usual snack or nap times, etc) and I can say hello to the dogs (or cats!) and have them get used to my presence and scent. We can go through what kind of care your animals need and you can show me where anything I would need for care is located. If any household chores need to be done while you are away (watering plants, pool care, poop scooping yard) I’m happy to take care of that for you as well. That said: I love detailed instructions. The more details, the better! My clients will usually leave their notes at the house for when I arrive. I like to do this because any number of things can change by the time I start the sit whether it’s a new medication that needs to be administered or a small change in feeding habits or schedule. It can include anything that may not have been covered in the meet and greet or specific instructions for any chores (ie pool maintenance). I have also cared for other critters such as hamsters and gerbils; lizards and snakes; even chickens!
