I have officially been with Rover for four years and I love it here. I have met so many pets with beautiful personalities! My regular clients are amazing people and I love working with them. I look forward to forging new relationships and bonding with your pets! *I have my own separate insurance as a pet sitter through Pet Sitter’s Associates (PSA). For the initial meet and greet I generally like to get a feel for my clients (and vice versa I’m sure!) before we agree to book. We can go through your pet’s schedule (feeding times, walks, usual snack or nap times, etc) and I can say hello to the dogs (or cats!) and have them get used to my presence and scent. We can go through what kind of care your animals need and you can show me where anything I would need for care is located. If any household chores need to be done while you are away (watering plants, pool care, poop scooping yard) I’m happy to take care of that for you as well. That said: I love detailed instructions. The more details, the better! My clients will usually leave their notes at the house for when I arrive. I like to do this because any number of things can change by the time I start the sit whether it’s a new medication that needs to be administered or a small change in feeding habits or schedule. It can include anything that may not have been covered in the meet and greet or specific instructions for any chores (ie pool maintenance). I have also cared for other critters such as hamsters and gerbils; lizards and snakes; even chickens!

Safety, trust & environment
When I sit at your house I bring my own food, toiletries, etc. I leave things the same or better than I found it- I will respect your home as I do mine. We can discuss feeding and general care during our meet and greet. I have a list of questions I ask every new client so I can best serve their needs. Please feel free to ask me any questions as well! I offer updates based off of the individual needs of the clients. I offer twice a day: morning and evening, once a day: usually around afternoon/evening, or once every two to three days if you prefer that. The most popular options are the ones I have offered but I am happy to tailor any updates to your needs!

Alec stayed at our home with our dog Phoebe for a week and did an amazing job. We could not be more pleased with how much he cares for Phoebe - she adores him! We are so very fortunate to be able to go away and know our home and our girl will be in the best of hands!

Schedule
I have been doing pet care full time for a while. However, I will be picking up a part time job in the near future. I will be managing my schedule accordingly. I am still available for sitting and drop-ins!

- Any allergies, medications or conditions (including separation anxiety), and energy levels are important for me to know. Let me know if your dog pulls on the leash, eats things off the ground, chases after small animals, friendly with other dogs or humans, chews on furniture, tends to chew on things around the house that are not meant for chewing, jumps, barks, etc. It would be best for me to know in advance so I can be prepared. Let me know what they like, too. How do they like to play? Do they like to lounge or play a lot? Tell me how often you’d like me to take them out on walks or if you’d just like me to let them out in the yard while you’re away. Let me know what the signs are that they need to go out (whining, pawing, sitting by the door, etc). No detail is too small and the smallest thing could help me provide a better experience for any animal in my care.
