“James kept us informed, kept our high energy dog happy and cared for. He took her on walks where she met other dogs to play with. He took her with him on short trips out of town. He followed feeding and care instructions well. He left our home in great shape, took out the garbage and kept everything clean and ready for us. He was very conservative of any resources to which we gave him permission to use or to consume. We highly recommend James!”

“Bree was amazing with Ludo and Bowie! Super communicative and sent lots of pictures while we were away for a long weekend. Left the house spotless and even ran the laundry. The pups obviously enjoyed their time and perked up when I mentioned Bree's name. Thank you! Will absolutely book again.”

“The dog was happy and the place was standing. In the end that's all that matters but a decent person who communicates well with an honest smile on their face and a personality to match makes the whole thing run smoother.”

“Siara was lovely and we will absolutely have her back. Even though it was her first time taking care of our two large pups and she was plagued with frequent storms and an unexpected limp, she handled each challenge with grace and communicated with us well! Highly recommend!”

About: I cared for my yellow Labrador, Sparky, for 12 years. From puppyhood to his senior years, our daily walks, playtime, and belly rubs were some of my favorite ways to connect and spend quality time together. Over the years, friends, family members and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or providing companionship during vacations, I’ve always treated every pet like my own, with patience and love. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and caring looking after your furry family member, and I’m here to provide that peace of mind. I work full time during the week, so I’m available for walks after 5pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I am also available for house visits and stays from Wednesday evenings after I get out of work through Sunday evenings. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect and care I would my own. I understand how important it is to maintain your pet’s routine in a familiar environment, and I always aim to create a calm, comfortable, and safe experience. During visits, I follow your instructions closely, ensure your pet is fed, exercised, and given plenty of attention, and keep you updated with regular check-ins. Daily walks were one of my favorite bonding activities with my dog, Sparky, so I truly understand how important they are for both physical health and mental stimulation. Whether your pup loves a leisurely stroll or a more energetic walk, I tailor each outing to their pace and personality. Safety is my top priority. I make sure the leash is secure, stay alert to surroundings making sure it is a safe area to walk in, and follow your dog’s routine and preferences. I make sure walks are not only safe but also enjoyable, giving your dog a chance to explore, exercise and return home happy and relaxed.

“Alyssa is an amazing communicator! She kept me informed and sent lots of pictures that made it clear that my dogs were relaxed and well cared for! I came home to happy dogs and a clean house! I hope to book her again in the future!”

“I can't recommend Anya enough! They took amazing care of my fur babies while I was away. From the daily updates and adorable photos to the genuine love and attention they gave, I felt completely at ease knowing my babies were in good hands. Reliable, communicative, and kind—I'll definitely be booking with them again!”

“Ashley was great and took really good care of Olive while I was away. She listened to all of my instructions and was super communicative. She sent pictures and updates every couple of hours and answered all of my messages and questions. Would 100% recommend :)”

About: Since I graduated high school, I created a dog walking business in New Jersey and now that I am a college student in Boston, I am interested in bringing my love for dogs with me! I have two dogs currently, one senior dog and one puppy (look at the first picture in my gallery to see Finley and Indie)! I have lots of experience from taking care of not only my own dogs but I also have professional experience from walking and sitting my clients' dogs in New Jersey. I am a college student but as I am in summer break I can walk or do drop-ins anytime on weekdays. I have lots of availability on weekends too for walking and pet sitting! Having dogs of my own, I understand the value of one-on-one time with human friends, this is why I only walk one dog at a time, unless they have doggy siblings of course!

“Nathalia was great!! She took great care of our cat while we were away for a long weekend. She left the place neat & tidy as well! Will definitely be booking here again.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 18 years old. I’m experienced in giving medications to dogs who need it. I take them on walks during the day (if that’s something they are used to) and give them lots of attention. My work schedule is very flexible. Making it easy to stay with pets for longer periods of time during the day. With only some evening events for work, pets get the most attention while sitting. I have been watching pets at their own home, I go above and beyond with love while their parent is away. I make sure the get all the attention they miss while their parents are away.

About: I have a lot of experience with dogs of all sizes and behaviors. In my teen years, my family would often take in dogs coworker’s and family friend’s dogs. That gave me plenty of experience with one on one care. At home I currently have a 8 year old Rottweiler named Coco. She can be a bit temperamental, so I am used to dogs with specific boundaries (i.e. no petting). I am a very loving and caring pet owner, who can’t wait to meet yours! I just graduated from Montclair State, so my schedule has freed up significantly! I’m available most days as long as I am booked relatively ahead of time. I very thoroughly take care of pets. All I want is for them to be happy, healthy, and safe. If there are any specific care requirements, please let me know.

“Katie and Zayn took great care of our dogs. They sent photos and updates of our dogs throughout their stay. We did not know them prior to their visit and selected them based on their past reviews on Rover. Those reviews are very accurate! We will definitely book them again and are very happy to trust our dogs and our home to their care.”

I currently work a part-time where I am available during the weekends for boarding! I have plenty of time to give your pet extra love. I will care for my client's dog by following my client's requests and wishes! I also have a mode on transportation in case of outside activities!

About: I have grown up with dogs and other animals up to 4 dogs at a time! I love animals and animals always love me too. Taken care of my animals as well as other’s since I was 16. I currently work as a substitute teacher during the school year, and I am a babysitter and pet sitter on the side! I babysit regularly 2-3 times a week in the evening during the week. I am attentive and loving to the animals, aware of surroundings at all times, and happy to do any errands or favors needed to make me staying at you house even better while I’m there!

Periodically, take them for a short walk, one dog at a time.

“Meghan absolutely is amazing with my dogs. She has worked with trainers for her own dogs and it really shows in how she interacts with dogs in general. She loves dogs in general but her compassion and ability to comfort them when they are missing their owners shines through. Meghan has been dog sitting for a few years now locally. Everyone who has had her watch or walk their dogs knows that she becomes like family not only to the 4 legged family members but humans as well. She is the best!”

“As pet parents , we can recognize a person who is kind, compassionate, hard working and responsible and so can our pets. We couldn't be happier with Chelsea and their exceptional care with our dog, Chewbacca and our 3 cats. She stayed at the house with them fed and administered meds as necessary especially to our one cat. Chewbacca was walked 2 times a day and taken for long walks in a park he visits every day and she sent pictures. We appreciated the updates since we were out of the country. I can't say enough about Chelsea as she treated our animals as her own.”

Christina M.
“I had a family emergency where I needed to leave the state, but was not able to take care of my pet. I was able to reach out to Christina, and she helped me in a time of great need.”

Grace watched three of our pups for about 10 days. She did an amazing job! Usually, I come home and my dog is a bit stand-off-ish/holds a grudge that we went away. This time they all seemed so happy and relaxed, I could tell they enjoyed their time with Grace! We would 100% work with her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, great dog sitter!
