About: Hi we’re Alex and Amanda and we’d love to pamper your dog and give them the best vacation! As dog owners ourselves, peace of mind when we travel is so important when picking our own sitters for Reiko. Alex grew up with a family dog and has been around with them his whole life. We also have experience with giving oral medication, topicals, flushes, and even shots since Reiko has needed all sorts of medication for her severe allergies. We do not have extensive experience with puppies or senior dogs, but we are always happy to have a conversation about your dogs needs to see if we can meet them. We would prioritize staying at home in the evenings as well when we have an additional dog around. We have dogsit for friends in the past and they’ve always had a blast in our home. About: I’ve had a dog for 14 years growing up and love animals! I miss having my own dog but I currently don’t have the constant time that it requires. I’ve gone to puppy training and agility with the dog that I had. I’ve also taken care of family members dogs and been surrounded by lots animals! I just got a Labrador Retriever Mix from the shelter, her name is Luna (June 2023). She is very sweet and good with other dogs. I had a small West Highland Terrier of my own. I had him since he was 11 weeks old and he just passed in September 2022, he was almost 15 years old. WE loved to go for long walks, to play in the park as well as inside. We took trips to the beach and to dog events. We also enjoyed cuddling on the couch and watching TV. Rest assured that your dog will be safe with me. I will take care of your dog like he/she is my own and he/she will get plenty of attention, love and care while you are gone. I work remotely Monday- Friday and Im off on the weekends. I would include the dog I'm sitting by taking him with me to run errands, hikes, walks in the park. There is a dog park where I live and also I can take them for long walks in my neighborhood which is very walkable and safe.
