I have always had pets growing up and I always help out my family and friends with taking care of their pets while they are away. I have experience with dogs, cats, puppies, and senior pets, including feeding, basic training, and giving medications. HOT WEATHER: for dog-friendly clients, i am able to provide outings to low stress trips to uncrowded, pet-friendly stores/facilities for stimulation and enrichment (including a potty break outside before and after, of course!) i am also happy to walk earlier/later in the day to avoid the heat as well! i also enjoy keeping pets company in home, whether its playing with toys, using lick mats, or just spending some time together! because i work evening and overnight shifts, i have guaranteed availability every morning and midday for your dog’s routine. whether you need a recurring daily walker or a same-day visit because you’re running late, i'm local and ready to jump in! my current job is closing in a few months, so i’ll be even more available for your schedule soon :) in public, i use a short-leash grip, stay hyper-aware of our surroundings without distractions like phones/technology of any kind (aside from photos, of course!), and avoid unknown dogs to keep your pup protected. i pride myself on being a trustworthy, punctual communicator, providing frequent photo updates so you’re always in the loop. i am very confident in my ability to kennel/leash pets & i consider myself well-versed in administering medication. i am keen when reading animal stress signals, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood under my care! as of early may, i am taking dog training certification courses to better my understanding and confidence in dog training :)

About: My whole life I’ve been obsessed with animals. I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, etc. I am a proud contributor to an animal foster and rehabilitation group. I also worked in a dog and cat boarding and daycare facility. I am used to having to take care of my foster dogs on a full time level, while also balancing other responsibilities. Additionally, I have experience distributing medications, taking care of special needs animals, animals with special food and dietary needs, etc. I am currently working part time and do online schooling! I'm a very active senior who still works so I'd like to be able to leave during the day M-F but I'm self employed so I can easily adjust my schedule to meet your furbabys needs. I have also watered the plants & flowers for my clients and fill the bird feeders! I am reliable and can give you many refrences I currently work but I'm self employed so I can make my own hours if needed to care for a furbaby. On the weekends I'm around most daysI I ask that you leave written directions on your pets daily routine so I can keep them on their schedule as much as possible. It's less stressful for them. Feeding directions along with any meds they need. Also your vets number if needed. I'll spend time with them and can send you daily pictures if you'd like!

“Mont’e was absolutely amazing! He provided excellent care for my cat and dog while house sitting. I was pretty nervous to leave town and Mont’e was super kind and professional. He updated me regularly, took my dog on walks, and even took her to his family’s Christmas Eve celebration (after asking of course) because I was worried about her having separation anxiety! Mont’e treated my pets as if they were his own and when I came back they were both super calm and relaxed because of the great care provided. About: I have grown up around animals and when I was 6 years old my family adopted our first dog. Since then, I have understood the importance around having an animal in your life, yet also the responsibility it brings with it. At the age of 12 I joined my sister in her dog walking business. Each day we would walk our neighbors dogs after school whilst making sure they went potty and were properly cared for via instructions given to us. As we grew older we started to watch them over night on weekends, and go with our neighbors to places where they needed help with their dogs. Dogs are not just pets…they are family. I have used that time as a dog walker to grow my own personal experience watching other families pets. I have since watched one family’s two dogs for three summers in a row due to the amount of trust and loyalty I have built with them. I can take care of any type of dog that you may have. Small, medium, large; young, adult, senior. It does not matter to me. I love them all and would enjoy watching as well as taking care of them. I am currently working part-time at Kent State University as a Graduate Assistant. The most time I spend in my office is about 4-6hrs per day. On the weekends I am home in Chardon. I will be able to accommodate your animals needs if needed on the weekends, and during the week. I will be home for the summer, but I will be moving down to the Kent area in the fall I always make sure that I meet the dog before I ever start taking care of them. As for walks, I would be sure to give them love before and after long walks. If I were to stay with them, I would ensure the pet and I would have time to play, go potty and a walk, as well eat dinner together so a bond and trust would be built. The pet would stay at their house so they wouldn’t be scared in a new setting.
