“Brandon was amazing with Arlo and really spent some time making sure he had fun. Great walks, played fetch and had some fun with him in pond. Arlo has a new friend and will definitely have them spend some more time together. Thanks Brandon”

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life and just recently raised a puppy of my own. He is a very well trained dog, so I have some fresh tips and tricks if needed. I am confident I will take wonderful care of any dog- any size and any age! New to rover but not new to taking care of dogs! I’m currently taking a summer break- I recently finished up a residency and pharmacy degree, so I am looking forward to having some time off this summer. I have a few trips planned, but otherwise I will be home every day to be able to provide the best care for your pups. I have a securely fenced in yard along with a young pup who just turned 1 years old. He is very friendly and would love to have a friend to play with during the day. I also have a cat who mainly just sticks to himself during the day- please no dogs who are not safe around cats.

“Great job. Can tell her love for animals. Responded on short notice. I plan to use her in the near future again.”

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience. I’ve provided in-home sitting, cared for friends’ pets, and have owned dogs my entire life. You can count on me for reliable, loving care—just like they’re my own. Hi! I’m currently on paternity leave from my full-time job, where I typically travel Monday through Thursday. With a bit more time at home right now, I’m looking to make some extra income doing something I truly enjoy—caring for dogs. I’ve owned dogs all my life, have in-home pet sitting experience, and have helped friends care for their pets over the years. Your pup will be in safe, caring hands. I care for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I always follow the owner’s instructions and routines to ensure consistency and peace of mind. I’ve worked with dogs that require extra attention, including those with medical needs or those who don’t do well around other animals. My goal is to build trust, provide dependable care, and keep your dog safe and happy while you’re away.

About: I am currently in graduate school for physical therapy and I hope to get certified in animal rehabilitation afterwards! I had a short summer internship at a canine physical therapy clinic while I was in undergrad where I was able to familiarize myself with many different breeds and sizes of dogs. Due to the allergies in my family, I was never able to have a dog of my own, so I have found my fulfillment by caring for the dogs of friends, family, and neighbors while they are out of town! I am in graduate school so I am mostly available on the weekends. Depending on the semester, I will have certain mornings, afternoons, or evenings free as well. I live in an apartment with 3 roommates and an adorable yorkie dachshund mix, Lil Jawn. My complex is very dog friendly and has plenty of grass for playing and space for walks!

About: I currently have a 3 year old mini Australian shepherd. My experience includes watching a puppy overnight, helping train a deaf dog, and taking neighbors dogs on walks. I am a teacher so I am available all of June-August to provide all day care for dogs or just walk dogs during the day. I have a friendly dog to keep your dog company. I also live within walking distance of a bike trail to make sure your dog gets daily walks.

About: Since the age of 10, I have cared for many animals, whether it be my own dog or a neighbors. I have experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits and I am not opposed to caring for another animal! Since entering college, I have been dog-sitting for many families and I am comfortable with staying at houses. I am currently home for the summer and am very flexible throughout the week. I am a college athlete so I have training at varying times of the day. However, I will be able to stop by and check on your pet before and after, not leaving them alone for too long! When caring for pets at a client’s home, I prioritize safety by following any specific instructions provided by the pet owner, including feeding and walking routines as well as medication if needed. I never leave a pet unattended outside unless it is in a fully fenced area.

About: Caring animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, currently I watch pets for friends and family while they are away, I always treat any in my care as my own, with safety being my top priority. I am available before and after work as well as weekends. I am flexible and can accommodate the needs of each individual pet and family. Keeping a pet safe in my care is always my top priority, pets in my care get regular potty breaks/walks, meals and lots of love and pets. Pets get my full attention.

About: I have always had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I grew up on a farm raising all sorts of animals. I now am mother of two and a dog mom still! I work as a physical therapist and rehab manager in an assisted living facility. I am responsible, dependable and able to take care of all your pets needs! I love walking my dog, playing catch and cuddling up for an evening snuggle. Your pet will be treated like one of my own! We have access to a pond for swimming and sniffing out new scents, a huge yard for playing and lots of space in the house. I work about 6-7 hours a day with a very flexible schedule. I am able to have shorter days if needed or come home on my lunch break. We have a huge back yard that our dog runs free in, but I am able to keep your pup leashed or on a tie out if your dog is not off-leash trained. I have a large extra crate available or you can bring your own if your dog is crate trained. When coming to you home or walking your dog I will follow all of your instructions to keep your dog happy and safe. I have had a dog in the past who was very high maintenance and requires leashing at all times when outside, she requires oral meds several times a day and frequent bathroom breaks due to medications.

About: I have owned and cared for more than 50 animals in my 36 years 🥰 I currently have a 2 year old cat and a 1 year old cat. Sadly I recently lost my almost 12 year old dog to old age. I grew up with skunks, cats, dogs, hamsters, lizards, and more. I also have been fostering with local rescues for more than 10 years. Overall, I am just a big animal lover and find joy in watching other people's fur babies 🥰 I have a flexible work schedule that will allow me to help during the day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I work in a dog-friendly office so when I go into the office on Tuesday and Thursday I can bring your pup with me, if you're comfortable with that! Evenings, weekends, and overnights can also be arranged. If you need anything overnight I prefer to stay at your home with your pets so they are comfortable and not displaced. Let's discuss your needs! I am happy to follow whatever instructions you have for me to care for your furbabies! I know each pet is different. Generally, dogs go out to potty several times a day, as well as need fresh food and water daily. Cats also need fresh food and water daily, plus cleaning their litter boxes once a day.

About: Hi there! From growing up around animals in my family to caring for my neighbors pets, I have the experience to provide your pets with the love and attention they deserve. I’ve worked with a range of pets, from puppies to senior dogs, and kittens and cats. My top priority is to keep your pet safe and comfortable while you’re away. I offer drops-in visits, walks, and overnight stays, and will always keep the parents informed with pictures and updates along the way. Let’s set up a meet and greet— I’d love to meet your family! 🐶🐱🐾 I’m currently a student at the University of South Florida, so I have full summertime availability, from weekdays to weekends. I can provide overnight stays to daily check-ins as needed. I like to keep in constant communication with the pet parent to make sure the pets needs are being met. I also like to provide picture updates and messages throughout my stay to keep the parent in the know. Your pets safety and comfort is my top priority.

“Gay was awesome! We were staying in our RV at a local campground and wanted to do a day of sightseeing. Gay came to out RV twice, then nice to meet our pup and us, and then again to walk the dog while we were away. She was kind, helpful and obviously loves dogs! Highly recommend!”

“Anthony is wonderful! Hottest day of the year and he was willing to help out when I had a last minute change to my schedule. I appreciate you taking such good care of Buddie! And I know her appreciated it too! Thank you so much for your dedication!”

“Erin is the best dog walker we could have asked for! She is patient and kind! Our little Beau Beau is curious about every little thing and she took her time to let him sniff and check things out. Our German Shepherd Charlie is not sure of other dogs so Erin made sure to comfort Charlie when other dogs were present on the walk. She sent some awesome pictures too so that we knew just how much fun our pups had! I will definitely be hiring her again in the future for my dog walking needs!”

“Betsy was great! Took our dog for 2 walks while we spent the day out of town.”

About: I've had dogs off and on my entire life but it wasn't until we adopted our baby girl Coco that I really fell in love. We had 13.5 wonderful years with her, then after she passed we decided to foster dogs and have been doing that since Sept. 2020 with various local organizations. We have fostered 24 dogs so far and have sat 21 dogs, including puppies, senior dogs, dogs with behavioral and medical special needs. Everyone knows how much we love dogs and how we treat them all like family. My husband and I are retired so we are very flexible in our schedule and decided we want to do something meaningful and enjoyable in our retirement. We have a large 1.5 acre lot with a pond on property. It is very serene and peaceful here. Our yard is only partially fenced so we keep the dogs on leash when walking outside. We make frequent potty breaks and like to take dogs for walks in the woods behind our house. They dogs usually sleep on a bed on the floor in our bedroom but will be crated if we have to leave the house for their own safety.

About: I have lots of professional experience working at kennels and watching pets for neighbors or people in need. Comfortable with medicating, walking, bathing, feeding, etc. I am a student at Ohio State, but love to take care of pets in my free time ! I am pre-vet, so I love to get more experience with animals as much as I can I try to make the dog as comfortable as possible while their owner is away. I am very good at reading a pet’s behavior so I know how to properly assess how they are feeling

About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.
