“Celine instantly treated my 70 lbs Goldendoodle like he was her own dog. I couldn't be happier with her service, and appreciate her genuine true love for animals. I appreciated the regular updates and photos, giving me piece of mind. Her communication is outstanding. I highly recommend Celine to anyone seeking top notch care for their pets! 5 Stars all the way!!”

About: I have walked dogs ever since I was little. I have also always been trusted to dog sit and house sit for family and friends. I take caring for pets very seriously because they are my favorite too! I’m a recent college grad looking to provide pet care! I’m available pretty much any day of the week. I have a friendly dog and can take walks and play. I also am going into training so I might practice or work with any pets if possible! For now I just offer house sitting or drop in visits for walks or other needs. I love a good play time in or outdoors and go on walks.
About: I have owned and cared for more than 50 animals in my 38 years 🥰 I currently have a 3 year old cat, a 2 year old cat, and a 1 year old cat. I had 2 dogs over the course of almost 19 years (12 years old and 16 years old when they passed). I grew up with skunks, cats, dogs, hamsters, lizards, and more. I also have been fostering with local rescues for more than 10 years. Overall, I am just a big animal lover and find joy in watching other people's fur babies 🥰 I work from home full time, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. Evenings, weekends, and overnights can also be arranged. If you need anything overnight I prefer to stay at your home with your pets so they are comfortable and can stay in their normal routine. Let's discuss your needs! I am happy to follow whatever instructions you have for me to care for your furbabies! I know each pet is different. Generally, dogs go out to potty several times a day, as well as need fresh food and water daily. Cats also need fresh food and water daily, plus cleaning their litter boxes at least once a day.
About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience. I’ve provided in home sitting, cared for friends pets, and have owned dogs my entire life. You can count on me for reliable, loving care just like they’re my own. Hi! I’m looking to make some extra income doing something I truly enjoy caring for pets. I’ve taken care of with all sorts of pets, have in home pet sitting experience, and have helped friends care for their pets over the years. Your angels will be in safe, caring hands. 😄 I care for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I always follow the owner’s instructions and routines to ensure consistency and peace of mind. I’ve worked with dogs that require extra attention, including those with medical needs or those who don’t do well around other animals. My goal is to build trust, provide dependable care, and keep your dog safe and happy while you’re away.
“Christy has walked our two rotties a couple times now and will definitely continue to use her in the future! She is very easy to communicate with and often times is available last minute. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I've had dogs off and on my entire life but it wasn't until we adopted our baby girl Coco that I really fell in love. We had 13.5 wonderful years with her, then after she passed we decided to foster dogs in her honor and have been doing this since Sept. 2020 with several local organizations. We have fostered 25 dogs and have sat 26 dogs to date, including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with behavioral and medical special needs. Our pricing reflects the peace of mind of knowing that your pet is well cared for and part of our family during their stay with us. Or for in house sitting, we are mature, reliable and trustworthy and treat your home like our own. We look forward to hearing from you! My husband and I are retired so we are very flexible in our schedule and decided we want to do something meaningful and enjoyable in our retirement. We have a large 1.5 acre lot with a pond on property. It is very serene and peaceful here. Our yard is only partially fenced so we keep the dogs on leash when walking outside. We make frequent potty breaks and like to take dogs for walks in the woods behind our house. They dogs usually sleep on a bed on the floor in our bedroom but will be crated if we have to leave the house for their own safety.
About: Growing up, I always had animals in my family. A few years ago, I rescued Nyla, the sweetest 80 pounds you'll ever meet, and she reignited my love for animal care. As an owner of a large, very active breed with a history of abuse, I know how important it is for your animal to feel loved and for their lives to be full of physical enrichment. When taking care of your pet, I'll treat them as if they were part of the family! I have a soft spot for doggos and I love cats, too. I'm comfortable with pets of all ages! I work full-time from 8:00 to 4:30 PM. I have availability before my shift and after 5:00 PM, and I’m usually available on the weekends! Your and your pet's comfort is my priority. I am responsive, attentive, and communicative. I'd love to know any information about your animal that will help me keep them safe and happy (triggers, favorite toys, allergies, disabilities, etc.)
About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.
About: In your absence, I will treat your pet as a member of my family. He/she will be as important to me as they are to you! I have rescued and cared for pets of all types for friends and family. I am a lifelong animal lover, and this is something that I truly enjoy doing. I have had pets my entire life from cats and dogs to rabbits, hamsters, fish, birds and even a baby lamb. Separating from your pets can be a difficult time when you are trusting their care to another individual. I will fill the gap for you while you are gone, with consistent reliable care. I am able to administer medication, walk/exercise your pets or just visit and play with them. I will keep you updated, if so desired. While you are gone, it is my goal, to allow you to rest easy, knowing that they will have daily loving care. I am currently working from home part time and i am able to make my schedule weekly. I will set my schedule around the needs of your pet. If there are any fluctuations (scheduled appointments) during my time with your pet, you will know in advance I care for my clients pets with the same love and attention that I care for my own . Each animal has its own likes , dislikes and routines. It is my job to meet the needs of that pet on the schedule that they are used to. When I am caring for somebody else’s pet, it is my top priority to make sure that they are cared for the same way you do. Separation can difficult for them too, I will ease that as much as possible by providing what they need.
About: I have grown up with animals and am an animal lover by nature. I have house sat for several families, having experience with multiple dog homes, cats, and birds. I have provided cared for rambunctious puppies and kittens as well, and I love to meet new furry friends! Currently my schedule for the summer I will be working out of the home from the times of 8:30 AM to 5:00PM three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. When I pet sit I prioritize being there for the pets as much as possible so that your animals can receive the love and care they deserve! I am comfortable leashing and walking dogs, even ones that pull. If I do leave during the day I like to crate the dogs I watch so they have a safe space when I’m gone, and I make sure to keep the floor clear of any hazards that could cause a potential problem.
About: While growing up, I fed, watered, played with, and walked our family friends. I even picked up poop! As an adult, I've done it all, from cleaning major messes to administering meds. I love canines and felines of all varieties, from the smallest to the largest! I am available to care for your pet(s) throughout the business day. Although I am also doing some volunteer work, I keep a regular schedule. I will care for your pets according to your express instructions. They will be treated as my own with as much love and concern as I can provide.
About: My goal is to make sure that pet parents like me have someone they can trust to help care for their babies. I have two years of experience working at a boarding/daycare facility where I was a supervisor for 1.5 years there, this means that I have experience working with dogs who need to take any type of medication- like insulin. I have been working at an animal shelter for 6 months where I’ve grown to learn more about the body language of dogs which has made me more confident in making sure the animals are comfortable and I can tell when they are starting to get overstimulated. I treat every fur baby like my own just as I would hope anyone else would mine. I am currently doordashing, actively seeking more work. My schedule is very flexible so I am able to do last minute drop in’s if needed! I have a fenced in property where your dogs would be safe from getting out and wandering around, I have 3 very social dogs who love to have friends but I could also keep everyone separated if that is what’s needed. I also have crates if your pet needs to go in one. If I were to be at my clients home I would make sure that your pets are able to go potty at a scheduled time either going in your backyard or bringing them on a walk to get everything out of their system. I can make sure that your pet will not have anything in their area that could hurt them or be eaten which could cause more damage as well.
“Allison has been wonderful to work with! She has been walking our two pups for the past few weeks and we couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they receive! From the start, Allison has been reliable, communicative and a great resource for long work days!”

About: Hi my name is Briana! Your dog will have play time outside if raining then we play inside. I have many years of experience with cats and dogs. I love animals of all sizes. I am easily reachable by text or phone call. I love being outside so your dog will get as much exercise as they need. I go above and beyond to take care of dogs. I provide a lot of love. I am excited to care for your pup and treat them as my own! I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you! Even though I work full-time, caring for animals is something I naturally build into my day. My mornings and evenings are spent feeding, playing, and snuggling with my two cats, so I’m already used to keeping a consistent routine. On my days off and during flexible hours, I have plenty of time to check in on your pets, give them love and attention, and make sure they stay happy and comfortable while you’re away. When caring for pets in your home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or potty breaks, plenty of playtime, and lots of love and attention. For dogs, that might include walks or backyard play; for cats and small animals, it can be interactive play or cozy companionship. I also respect your home, keeping things neat and making sure your pets are happy and relaxed until you return.
“Emily has been a FANTASTIC dog walker for my sweet, 85lb fur baby for the last few months. She goes above and beyond and I'm truly so grateful to have her. I fully trust her to take excellent care of Meeko and he LOVED her from the beginning.”

“Matthew was willing to help me out on relatively short notice. I needed help walking my dog over the weekend because of a flared back issue. He was terrific! Friendly, enthusiastic, good walker and communicator. I appreciated his ability to be flexible, too. Shankara evidently loved the walks. I will definitely book with him in the future as needs demand it! Thanks, Matt!”

About: I have grown up around animals and when I was 6 years old my family adopted our first dog. Since then, I have understood the importance around having an animal in your life, yet also the responsibility it brings with it. At the age of 12 I joined my sister in her dog walking business. Each day we would walk our neighbors dogs after school whilst making sure they went potty and were properly cared for via instructions given to us. As we grew older we started to watch them over night on weekends, and go with our neighbors to places where they needed help with their dogs. Dogs are not just pets…they are family. I have used that time as a dog walker to grow my own personal experience watching other families pets. I have since watched one family’s two dogs for three summers in a row due to the amount of trust and loyalty I have built with them. I can take care of any type of dog that you may have. Small, medium, large; young, adult, senior. It does not matter to me. I love them all and would enjoy watching as well as taking care of them. I am currently working part-time at Kent State University as a Graduate Assistant. The most time I spend in my office is about 4-6hrs per day. On the weekends I am home in Chardon. I will be able to accommodate your animals needs if needed on the weekends, and during the week. I will be home for the summer, but I will be moving down to the Kent area in the fall I always make sure that I meet the dog before I ever start taking care of them. As for walks, I would be sure to give them love before and after long walks. If I were to stay with them, I would ensure the pet and I would have time to play, go potty and a walk, as well eat dinner together so a bond and trust would be built. The pet would stay at their house so they wouldn’t be scared in a new setting.
About: I currently have a 4 year old mini Australian shepherd. My experience includes watching a puppy overnight, helping train a deaf dog, and taking neighbors dogs on walks. I am a teacher so I am available all of June-August to provide all day care for dogs or just walk dogs during the day. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable home where dogs are treated like family. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, walks, fresh water, meals on schedule, and lots of affection. I follow each dog’s routine and make sure they feel happy and relaxed while they’re away from home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
