Our puppy warmed to him immediately --they can always tell when people are truly comfortable around them, can't they?!? Ben was communicative throughout the process, and sent photos of our baby to reassure us that she was well. Would definitely contact him again.”

“Our kitties love Gay!!! We never worry about our fur babies when Gay is checking on them. She spends time with them, gives them treats, and my shiest boy George actually goes right up to her hand with treats❤️.”

“Tony took great care of four cats when we went out of town. It was our first long trip away from the girls in some time, so I was nervous at first. But Tony checked in everyday with an update and sometimes even a picture, and I was relaxed in no time knowing they in good care. I came home to happy cats and a very tidy house. I know Tony is a dog guy, but I would recommend him for your feline friends as well! TLDR: 5 stars, will rebook with Tony again”

“Beth was wonderful! She came twice a day to feed/water/scoop for our two kitties while we were away. We received lots of updates and photos. The cats loved her and we were very happy with her care.”

About: Since the age of 10, I have cared for many animals, whether it be my own dog or a neighbors. I have experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits and I am not opposed to caring for another animal! Since entering college, I have been dog-sitting for many families and I am comfortable with staying at houses. I am currently home for the summer and am very flexible throughout the week. I am a college athlete so I have training at varying times of the day. However, I will be able to stop by and check on your pet before and after, not leaving them alone for too long! When caring for pets at a client’s home, I prioritize safety by following any specific instructions provided by the pet owner, including feeding and walking routines as well as medication if needed. I never leave a pet unattended outside unless it is in a fully fenced area.

About: I have owned and cared for more than 50 animals in my 36 years 🥰 I currently have a 2 year old cat and a 1 year old cat. Sadly I recently lost my almost 12 year old dog to old age. I grew up with skunks, cats, dogs, hamsters, lizards, and more. I also have been fostering with local rescues for more than 10 years. Overall, I am just a big animal lover and find joy in watching other people's fur babies 🥰 I have a flexible work schedule that will allow me to help during the day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I work in a dog-friendly office so when I go into the office on Tuesday and Thursday I can bring your pup with me, if you're comfortable with that! Evenings, weekends, and overnights can also be arranged. If you need anything overnight I prefer to stay at your home with your pets so they are comfortable and not displaced. Let's discuss your needs! I am happy to follow whatever instructions you have for me to care for your furbabies! I know each pet is different. Generally, dogs go out to potty several times a day, as well as need fresh food and water daily. Cats also need fresh food and water daily, plus cleaning their litter boxes once a day.

“I really appreciate how communicative Erin was while I was away. This was my first time doing this and my experience was great. She was great with my kitty and made me feel at peace leaving him.”

About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I always keep dogs on leash when walking them...you never know when a squirrel or other dog will come by or how they will react.

About: I am looking to meet some dogs and get some exercise. If you have active dogs that like walks or runs, or just want to come home to a nice tired dog, I am your guy. I work full time (generally until around 3:30 on the week days). I like to be active and read after work, so if you want your dog watched I have no issue doing those with your good boy/girl. Dogs are a big part of the family so I will make sure that your dog is well taken care of and a happy camper.

About: I have a loving home with plenty of space fenced and unfenced to run around. Designated room with separate crates available if needed. I currently have several clients that I pet sit at their homes. I currently am working full time with the flexibility to work from home when needed. I am available every day. About: Hi! Before college, I owned a pet sitting business since I was 12 with a business card and everything. The business dwindled because I had to go to college, and we just recently moved to Chagrin. Since I don’t have the business anymore, I heard this was the next best thing :) Because we just recently moved, I haven’t been able to find a job at home. After August, I will not live here anymore, because I will move to my college town, and because of this, no one is hiring for just summer work. So I pretty much do nothing in terms of work at the moment, and I just recently found out about Rover, and I love animals so I figured I should give this a shot. We have animals in my own house right now, and I know I’m not technically pet sitting them but I like to be around them 24/7 because of the love I have for them. This will be no different in anyone else’s home, animals are my life and have been for a very long time.

Growing up my family owned as many as 6 dogs at a time .I worked at a dog kennel and volunteered at a local dog shelter. I also trained and showed dogs for 7 years. I currently volunteer with the local rescue.

Amanda F.
“Amanda and her family took great care of our 2 year old poodle while we were away for 7 days. He was treated as her own, received lots of playtime, cuddles and love. Our dog also needed a bit of additional care with some cleaning, grooming and medication application to a wound - and it has healed perfectly due to Amanda's diligence! We received updates and pictures throughout our trip. Will definitely be using Amanda again!”
