About: Hello! I have 5 years experience in animal care. I started as a receptionist, moved up into kennels, then I decided to further my education and graduated as an Approved Veterinary Assistant in January 2025. I've worked with many dogs of all temperaments. Shy or nervous rescue dogs are no problem for me! I can handle any dog - big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, giant breeds, counter surfers, etc. I also have worked with many cats (spicy kitties or sweet kitties) so you don’t have to worry about their safety! I am a genuine animal lover and I enjoy getting to help care for animals everyday, for a living. I have the best job in the world! I can do a nail trim for any (non-fractious) pet! Cat or dog, no breed restriction. I will bring all supplies (treats and peanut butter included!). I offer this as a stand alone service as well. Your fur baby gets anxiety going on car rides to the vet? Let me come to you and save you and your pet the unneeded stress! I work full time (4 days a week) at a veterinary clinic in Huntsville. If I’m not at the clinic, I’m available! I have completely free days on Monday, Sunday, and every other Saturday. I have formal and on the job training with medicating, checking vital signs, and what to look for if something isn’t right. Being an Approved Veterinary Assistant has given me the experience to keep your fur baby safe!

“Ashlyn was amazing! She met with us prior to sitting with our dogs and spent time getting to know them. She even asked if our oldest dog had Cushing's Disease and that prompted me to speak with our vet and have him tested, which turned out to be positive. We did hire her for a 1 hour drop in prior to us leaving for her to spend more time with our dogs and get to know our home. We felt comfortable leaving Ashlyn in charge while we left the country on vacation. She sent us photos and texts with updates. You will not find a better pet sitter than Ashlyn! Our dogs are extremely spoiled and set in their ways and they bonded very well with her. She truly cares about animals.”

About: I love furry friends! I have lived in a household with dogs and cats my whole life. I often take care of the animals in our house that have ranged from dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, a goat, and a horse. I am extremely comfortable around animals and giving them all the love and care they need. I care for my family’s dog and cat everyday. I make sure they are fed on time with the appropriate proportions and that our dog is taken out to use the bathroom. I also like to take our dog on walks to make sure she is getting her exercise. I make sure that our pets have everything they need and they are completely cared for. I also think affection is very important with pets and I make sure to give them lots of love and snuggles!

About: Hi everyone! A little about me, I have grown up on a 12-acre farm taking care of dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, goats, and even a ferret!
