“Kristen is such a great sitter. We were gone 4 days and had her drop in on our 2 Chihuahua puppies 4 times each day. She was so punctual for each visit and sent us lots of pictures along with a detailed report of what our boys were doing. Her playfulness with our dogs made us feel so at ease while we were gone. We have another trip in June and we will definitely be booking her to take care of our babies.”

“Jenna is the best! Nice peace of mind to have her check in on the dogs while we are out of town and she always accomodates their needs and our schedule, and keeps us updated with visits and pictures.”
“Lauren was amazing! I felt so comfortable having her in my home. She gave me peace of mind that my cat was not alone and well taken care of while I was out of town working. Would recommend and use her again.”

About: I was raised with many different types of animals ranging from Dogs and Cats to amphibians and reptiles. Growing up I always had a passion for all species of animals, growing a hobby for the outdoors and all the wildlife that came with it, I have worked with rescue and rehabs for over 10 years. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 reptiles and 2 amphibians. There’s nothing I enjoy more than taking my dogs on walks to keep them mentally stimulated while also getting some extra exercise after play time. There’s nothing more important to myself as a pet owner to know that my dog can go to sleep happy every night. I love incorporating mentally stimulating puzzles and games for my dogs to enjoy. Many times I find a shorter walk with more brain games exerts my puppy’s energy much faster than physically running her. I have cared for young puppy’s and kittens who need to be bottle fed, senior pets that need diapers and special treatment as well as all ages, shapes and sizes between the two. I also have my fair share of experience with exotic animals including but not limited to, bearded dragons, whites tree frogs, pacman frogs, Chinese water dragons, Leopard Geckos, Tomato frogs, Russian tortoises, ball pythons, corn snakes, Multiple tree frog species as well as multiple common toad species, fish, small animals including, mice, rats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and ferrets. I have experience caring for some large animals under the supervision of a professional, horses, cattle, goats, sheep, alpacas and pigs. Some minor experience caring for poultry including, Guinea foul, hens, and geese. Pet Care has always been on the top of my to do list since I was a young child through adulthood. I provide exceptional care for all animals no matter the feat. I have worked with boarding facilities doing minor training, grooming as well as sanitation ensuring that surfaces are properly disinfected as well as administering oral medications. When caring for your pet I would provide them with love and affection just as I would my own as well as follow any and all guidelines instructed to me, I would ensure the utmost respect and care for your home and your family members. I have been told by past clients that I go above and beyond when it comes to caring for their animals.
“Taryn was great! Sent lots of updates and photos and was very responsible and reliable. I highly recommend her and hope she would want to look after my cat again sometime!”
“Heather took very good care of my cats and turtle while I was out of town . She is very professional and thorough with her care for animals. I would recommend her services !!!!”

“Katie was absolutely wonderful! She watched our dogs, Nico and Nora, while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was always punctual, incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely loving with both of our dogs. She also made such a great impression during our meet-and-greet by being so sweet and patient with my little girl, which meant a lot to us. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such caring hands while we were away. Katie is truly a wonderful person, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate pet sitter!”

“Alex was wonderful. I was very comfortable leaving her in charge of our cats. She was very reliable and took care of our cats like her own. Would definitely book her again.”

“Sydney provided drop in visits at my home for 8 cats…yes 8 cats. She was professional and attentive to details. She demonstrated effective communication skills and kept me up to date on the day to day activities of her care of my babies. Sydney is kind and compassionate and will ask for her services in the future. If you are looking for someone to care for your animals that you can trust, contact Sydney…🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Gaby was amazing! She did EVERYTHING we asked and sent so many cute pictures of our little kitties! It made our day every time she did this and we're going to ask for HER SPECIFICALLY next time we need to go out of town. Thanks so much Gaby!”

“This was my first time using rover and Coretta. It has been an amazing experience. Coretta was so communicative and just a pleasure to meet! I felt my Bella was in the best of hands. Thank you so much!”

“David helped me with a last-minute request for a drop-in visit. He's watched Sam multiple times, and that was comforting. Plus, David made the trip on a day when we were getting hit by a snowstorm. I'm grateful for his help and care with Sam.”

“Kayla has been great! She went above and beyond cleaning up after our puppy. The dogs are super excited to hang out with her. It’s given us such peace of mind knowing our pups are well taken care of during the day. Will definitely book with her again.”

“Lora went above and beyond this past visit and deservingly earned 5 stars. She checked in on Snoopy one extra time because she wasn't sure I made it back home from vacation and she even bought her Snoopy a new toy. Way to go and I can't wait to have her back to care for my pets.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
