About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover. Pets are family and people just like us. Giving every animal out there the love and attention they all deserve. ❤️ I have a flexible career that allows me to create my own schedule and gives be the opportunity to be more available to personal matters When caring for pets in my home is my top priority. My home features are fully fenced yard, providing a secure space for dogs to exercise and play. I am very diligent about leash safety, whether we’re on a walk, visiting a new area, or if a dog benefits from additional control and security I use a leash and closely supervise them at all times.
“Our kitties (even the shy one) LOVED Meagan. Our guy Jack usually stays hidden but not this time. For us humans, Meagan was super responsive with each interaction. We will definitely reach out to her again.”

“Sydney looked after my 2 cats while I was on a camping trip. She took excellent care of my pets, was on time and thorough with the care instructions. Sydney has a warm personality, is very professional and communicates well.”

“Heather did a wonderful job watching our kitty while we were on vacation. She even brought in a package that was on our front step. We were very thankful to not need to worry about our cat, knowing she was in good hands.”

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Family and friends have relied on me for decades to take care of their animals. Growing up on a farm helped give me a lifelong affinity for animals. I’m a teacher who is off all summer. I have plenty of time to fill and would love to look after your animals, either in my home, as a drop in, or just a walk. I have a fenced in backyard, two amazing labs who love other dogs, and a wife and daughter who love dogs as much as I do.

“We love Susan! She checks on our young puppy during the week when we're at work and does a great job. Susan feeds and plays with our puppy, sends us updates us on how each day went and sends us pictures and videos of him. We have found Susan to be very reliable, a great communicator, and a great caretaker for our puppy. I highly recommend Susan!”

“Kristen is such a great sitter. We were gone 4 days and had her drop in on our 2 Chihuahua puppies 4 times each day. She was so punctual for each visit and sent us lots of pictures along with a detailed report of what our boys were doing. Her playfulness with our dogs made us feel so at ease while we were gone. We have another trip in June and we will definitely be booking her to take care of our babies.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was little, I’ve always had dogs of my own and used to watch others animals for friends and neighbors while they were away. I’ve always been able to create a bond with the animals I watch as I have 3 dogs of my own. Whether your dog loves high-energy fetch or cozy couch cuddles, I tailor every stay to their specific needs. I’m dedicated to keeping your animals happy and healthy while you’re away. I’m currently on summer break from college and this is my only job for the summer as of now. I have much availability throughout my day to take care of your lovely animals. I have a fenced in yard but I have 3 dogs of my own. I can keep them separate if need be or just care for them in their known home whichever you prefer.
“Gaby was amazing! She did EVERYTHING we asked and sent so many cute pictures of our little kitties! It made our day every time she did this and we're going to ask for HER SPECIFICALLY next time we need to go out of town. Thanks so much Gaby!”

“We had a wonderful experience with our dog sitter Heather while we were away on vacation. She took excellent care of our dog and gave us peace of mind knowing our pet was in such capable and caring hands. We especially appreciated the thoughtful photo updates she sent, which made us smile and helped us feel connected while we were away. It was clear she genuinely cared about our dog's happiness and well-being during each visit. We would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy pet sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have house sat for at least three different people and took care of their pets! I’ve worked with senior dogs and puppies. I also have a part time job at a pet store so I have a decent amount of knowledge on pets and am more than happy to get things from the store for you! I have also administered medicine to a dog with health issues so I am comfortable administering medicine. I work part-time at a pet store! But I have time in between these things to drop in on pets and walk them, play with them, and even feed them. I’m happy to do whatever needs to be done’ My cat is older so she doesn’t play much anymore, but I’ve played with lots of kitties before. I’ve also played with dogs, big and small. My old home had a fenced in yard that I used to play with the dogs in. I no longer have that, but I love taking my own dog on long walks to burn off some of that energy!
“Everything seemed to work out pretty good on our end. Murphy was happy! Thanks for this first experience with Rover and we will be using this service and you hopefully again! Thanks!”

“Alexa was a perfect sitter for us! She is professional, nice, and kept us updated with messages and pictures. And most importantly, our cat absolutely loved her! We will be using her services again.”

About: My experience has been mostly my family and friends. I have taken their animals on walks, bathed them, fed them, played with them. Took them to parks and even trained them on new skills. Since I just graduated I have very open availability and ready to help. I am very organized and dependable, I value time management, my career/education, and most importantly taking care of people and animals. I am currently waiting for the new school year to roll around and continue my education so my schedule is free. I wake up early to work out but that time can be flexible depending on if I have a pet to watch. I keep the animals on the schedule they are used to. Feed them, fill water, walks, clean behind them, playtime, medicine if they need. Also litter box maintenance for cats. Also making sure we’re safe in the house and my phone near me to contact the owners if needed.
About: I love to spend time with them , I like to play with them, I like to take them to the park. I will always keep them on a leash. I can teach them some tricks, sit , stay roll over. I can take them out every two hours, to go potty. I can keep them over night. I took care of a one eye cat, I took care of a blind dog. I have had dogs in diapers. I took care of a Yorkshire, who was pregnant, she went into labor at my house, and my mom and I delivered three little babies they came out every forty minutes. We help clean the babies, and my dog Chuckie helped to. Give them kisses, hugs.
About: I've had cats, dogs (mostly German Shepherds) and horses as pets since I was 7. I've fostered and re-homed 3 dogs in the last 2 years and have extensive experience training and caring for pets. I am in grad school and have a flexible work schedule so I have lots of time to play with your pet and give them all the love and attention they desire! I have no pets of my own so your pets would get my full time and attention for walks, cuddles and playtime! I always send plenty of pictures and videos of your pet while I'm caring for them, so you can be sure they are happy and loved while you're away. ☺️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kreitzburg. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
