I also grew up around our family Westie & German Shepard in my home that were super attached to me. So I am very attentive to a dogs need for love and care when away from the owner. Also first time guests and last minute requests must schedule a meet and greet I use to be flexible with this but situations have happened that caused me no longer be flexible. In addition I do not accept any pets without a safe reliable comfortable crate. As I do not allow free roaming in my home when I am not present. Your pet safety is my top priority. Being in a new environment for the first time pets will be pets. They aren’t perfect. Feel free to ask me any questions if need be. If you are Sending me a message I assume you have read everything i have written here from start to finish. **(For example old pictures of pet only to arrive and they are 3 times the size) - 100% we have to have a meet n greet prior to sitting. Returning customers the meet and greet does not apply. For last minute requests please contact me directly I will try my best to accommodate but please be advised there may be a fee associated depending on the circumstance. Especially if there is no time to set up a meet n greet and I’m only going off photos. Currently, I care for two of my own—Sparky, my sweet 13-year-old Bichon Frise, and Shelby, my playful 1-year-old Miniature Goldendoodle. About: I have had animals all my life, especially dogs amongst a few small pets. I have two dogs myself and I am training all of them with basic commands. I have 5 years of experience in training American pitbulls mixes to have as pets around children and other small animals. Something that sets me apart from others is that I recognize dogs and cats behavior such as signs of discomfort. I have personal experience with raising and caring for dogs of all sizes. I want animals to be comfortable, safe, and healthy. This may be disconcerting for owners that expect their pet to have free roam. I would expect multiple walks and sleeping in their dog beds considering the pets disposition as well as updates about pet stay. For house sitting, I will be willing to adjust prices if my own dogs are allowed to accompany me (not required). About: Welcome to dog paradise! Your pup will join my friendly Irish Setter and me for a fun-filled staycation in our spacious 3000 square foot home and sprawling fenced yard. With years of hands-on experience in rescue, fostering, and caring for dogs from seniors to pups, I can provide attentive, personalized care for your dog. Your dog will love peaceful afternoons filled with energetic runs or watching the backyard koi pond. Inside, a toy basket overflows and is ready for game time. If your pup craves high-energy playtime or gentle pampering, they will be treated like family every moment! I am retired, and I love to take care of dogs! The dog can cuddle with me on the couch or sleep on one of the many available beds. I have a large house and yard and stay at home during the day. My Irish Setter also provides companionship. We have plenty of room for your pup to run and play.

About: Experienced pet sitter. I treat all as my own! I have 4 dogs of my own, 2 small dogs (ages 1 and 11) and 2 male German Shepard (2 yr and 5 yr). I care for and trained all my dogs. Routine is key. I have attended local training centers/classes for support. I am a certified foster for Humane Indiana, Munster, IN. I have experience with senior dogs as I have lost 2 senior dogs in the past, age 13 and 14. I will accommodate your pet as needed inside and outside of my home. I have 1 acre of land to exercise, fenced in area, inground pool with splash pad area (if they like to swim, otherwise, access is fenced off). I am willing to FaceTime/communicate with pet parent as needed! (I know how hard it is to be away from our pets). I am an ex-School Counselor who left the field of Education after 16 years. I assist husband with our business but my days are flexible to accommodate boarding bookings. Pets stay indoors. I have a fenced in area with a doggie door for in-out access to grassy area. I also have a crate if needed. Willing to feed your pup as instructed, take walks, and supervise always! If needed or desired, I have the ability to separate my dogs from yours. All my dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heart guard and are friendly. I would recommend a visit to my home with pet prior to boarding to allow your dog to get to know me, put your mind at ease, and ensure it’s a great fit for them!
