“I had surgery unexpectedly and Joy and Dan accepted my last minute request of dog boarding. My puppy was very excited to go back there and when I picked him up he was very happy. He had a very good visit with them. I am very satisfied with the care that they provided to my puppy.”

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Family and friends have relied on me for decades to take care of their animals. Growing up on a farm helped give me a lifelong affinity for animals. I’m a teacher who is off all summer. I have plenty of time to fill and would love to look after your animals, either in my home, as a drop in, or just a walk. I have a fenced in backyard, two amazing labs who love other dogs, and a wife and daughter who love dogs as much as I do.
“Thank you for doing such an amazing job. I was so impressed. We will definitely be booking again. Jack had so much fun and I can tell he was well taken care of. We can’t thank you enough.”

“I received several pictures of Moppet from Bernice. He seemed to really enjoy her big fenced-in backyard and having similarly sized canine playmates. Bernice was a gentle, welcoming dogsitter.”

“I had Barbara watch my almost 7 year old cat for 3 nights and 4 days. She made me feel comfortable and made sure my cat was taken care of while I was away. Barbara was sweet and let my cat outside the bedroom. Her litter was clean and followed the feeding instructions. I definitely recommend her”

“April is the best! I bring my dog to her instead of leaving him with family because he loves her house and dogs so much. Great communication and clearly a massive dog lover.”

“Excellent. Gave us a ton of picture, more than any other sitter we’ve had on rover. And due to issues at airport I was an hour late picking her up, and she was totally accommodating. Highly recommended!”

“Amia,Joshua and family have been nothing but great to my baby Barry. He loves spending time over there, I definitely recommend them. They are the best fit for your fur baby 🙂”

“I returned to a very happy dog after a stay with Jesus. Jesus was very easy to work with, and anytime I need a sitter, I’ll be calling Jesus for sure! From the beginning, Jesus was very responsive. I could tell from our first interaction that he loved animals, and my baby would be safe with him. As it was my first time using a sitter, I was so pleased that Jesus keep me so updated throughout her stay. He sent me pictures and videos every day. I would highly recommend Jesus for your dog sitting needs!”

“You guys were excellent thank you thank you thank you for taking wonderful care of my baby. I love all of the pictures and the videos will definitely use you guys in the future.”

Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll make sure your pet feels loved while you’re away! I care for pets how I would want to be cared for with love and respect and I would give them lots of play time!
“This was my first time using Sharon and all went well. She sent photos and videos of Lily and took Lily on frequent walks. She was quick to respond to my texts. I really appreciate Sharon’s responsible and professional nature. And when I picked up Lily at the end of her stay, Sharon gifted her a bag of treats and toys and a thank you note! I will definitely use Sharon again.”
“Heather took great care of our girl, Ella, while we were away for a week! She sent daily updates and lots of photos. Heather was very responsive and accommodating and when our flight home was delayed!”

“Sharee was a GODSEND!!! An absolute a dream to work with from initial contact to meet & greet, to the drop-off, to pick-up: everything was simple, seamless and SO well in hand. Since our Morty has only been for an overnight stay once without either me/my husband or a family member he’s known a LONG time, my husband and I were concerned about leaving our boy behind while we were on vacation but Sharee put both of us at ease right away. Sharee is warm and friendly with a great vibe. You can tell she knows what she’s doing and is very comfortable and confident working with multiple dogs of varying sizes. Sharee definitely gives off “Alpha” energy, which is especially important because dogs need to know who’s running things in order to feel as well as actually BE safe and secure. She’s got a great back yard with lots of room for pups to run around in and sniff as well as a decent sized area that is still outdoors but parceled off if pups need separation for any reason. This way everyone gets fresh air without having to sacrifice safety. I love this. Morty (who normally is quite bashful when meeting new people) took to Sharee right away: I believe this was because she was so calm, decisive, yet loving and warm with all the other dogs that were there. Once he saw how happy/not stressed out all the other dogs seemed, Morty seemed to fold into the pack pretty seamlessly. Tails were wagging hard and fast all around— it was amazing! One thing I truly appreciated was on the evening when we dropped Morty off, Sharee met us at the car and SHE walked Morty into the house and I followed behind. This set the tone and served as a kind of “changing of the guard” insofar as signaling to Morty that he had to listen to HER from then on out. He got on board without issue (again, safety first: I. LOVE. IT.), and then she introduced him to the other dogs who would be his buddies during his stay (some he’d met during the meet and greet, one he hadn’t… all was well!) While we were away Sharee kept us updated throughout each day on how Morty was adjusting and what good mischief he and the others were getting into with sweet pictures and videos which were always appreciated. We also discovered that Sharee’s dog, King, and Morty are kindred spirits and became fast friends so that was great too! While Morty seemed happy to see us when we came to scoop him up when it was time to go, I’d be lying if I said he didn’t cry for a little bit on the car ride home when he realized King wasn’t coming too! 😂 All told, we could not have asked for a better experience and will MOST DEFINITELY be repeat customers!!! Sharee is AMAZING!!!!!”

“We are so happy we found Giannina! She took such good care of our baby. She sent us photos and updates while we were on vacation, which made us feel so much better, since this was the first time we've left our little one in someone else's care. We will definitely use her service in the future. Giannina comes highly recommended.”

“Toya was a wonderful sitter. We had to shift our boarding days last minute from Fri-Mon to Thurs-Sun last minute and she was able to accommodate without a problem. She was also very responsive and would reply back to any questions or check-ins within minutes. We especially loved her family environment which I feel was very comforting to our Brick. He seemed very comfortable when he first arrived and upon pick-up from his 3 night stay. We will definitely use Toya’s services again!”

About: Hello, I'm Katie! I helped my mom run a cat rescue for over 8 years (that includes waking up every 2 hours to bottle feed, giving medication, handling moody kitties, cleaning up constant messes, etc.) I've lived with cats my whole life, and I currently have 2 of my own. I regularly house sit with cats and I absolutely love it! I offer drop-ins, overnight stays, or whatever is needed. Very excited to make new feline friends!

“Sydney provided drop in visits at my home for 8 cats…yes 8 cats. She was professional and attentive to details. She demonstrated effective communication skills and kept me up to date on the day to day activities of her care of my babies. Sydney is kind and compassionate and will ask for her services in the future. If you are looking for someone to care for your animals that you can trust, contact Sydney…🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Eli cared for my boys Symba and Eli for 12 days. I was so blessed to have been able to choose him for this visit. The notes he sent daily told a beautiful little story. I found myself waiting to read the next one🥰🥰🥰. His caring spirit shows through his work. One of my boy's is named Eil!!! 🥰🐈And on that alone , I knew this was perfect. Blessings to you Eli, until next time...Carolyn”

About: I have taken care of cats since 2016, I can clip nails of cats, brush them, even remove matted areas on the cat. I have loved cats for as long as I can remember! I have two long haired black cats who are very shy, so I know how to handle shy cats.
“Taryn was excellent at providing pictures and updates at every visit. She was wonderful when we talked with her and when she was alone with our animal. Very friendly and knowledgeable on animals, and was a quick learner when it came to our animals care. Couldn't ask for a better animal sitter!”

“April was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Mable! We only asked her to stop by once a day, but she went above and beyond every single visit. She spent extra time with Mable, stayed to keep her company, and was so kind and attentive. She even surprised Mable with a few new toys to play with while we were away, which was such an incredibly thoughtful gesture that she absolutely didn’t have to do. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Mable was not only being cared for but genuinely loved while we were gone. We could tell April truly cares about the pets she watches, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Jenna is the best! Nice peace of mind to have her check in on the dogs while we are out of town and she always accomodates their needs and our schedule, and keeps us updated with visits and pictures.”

“Cassidy is great! Easy to coordinate with and reliable. My cat is a bit shy and it takes some time for him to warm up to people but she was so patient with him and always tried to win him over! Highly recommend.”

“Nicole was amazing! She eased any worries we had and also updated us with pictures and videos while we were gone. She was very much in touch with any updates. We will definitely rebook her the next time we need someone to care for our pup and we’re so glad that we booked Nicole in the first place!”

“Alix was awesome! She was very communicative during my work trip and sent some really sweet pictures too! My Dottie looked more excited to see her than she is to see me sometimes 😂 absolutely would recommend Alix to anyone needing assistance with their pets! Thank you, Alix!”

“It was a relief with all of our funeral planning taking place in Chicago, to know that Ms. Bernice was going to take care of Niko. This was his first time at any day care and it seems that this will help us as we work with him to socialize with other dogs. Overall, she was very cooperative, reliable and conveniently located to our hotel. We would use her services again.”

“Joy was absolutely wonderful with my dog! She provided a safe, fun, and caring environment, and it was clear how much she truly loves animals. My pup came home happy and relaxed. This was my first time using Rover and Joy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter! 🐾”

I have experience as a medical assistant which allows me to make rational decisions to maintain a safe environment for your beloved pet. Self taught cpr and other emergency procedures. I’m currently a home stay dog mom and would love to give my love and attention to other dogs and cats. I’m available and flexible to work with the parent. About: Dogs have always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Currently, I care for two of my own—Sparky, my sweet 13-year-old Bichon Frise, and Shelby, my playful 1-year-old Miniature Goldendoodle. Having both a senior dog and a young, energetic pup has given me a wide range of hands-on experience, from managing health needs and gentle senior care to keeping up with puppy energy, training, and teething phases. In the past, I also cared for an American Pitbull Terrier for 5 years, and over the years I’ve looked after many dogs for friends, neighbors, and family members. Some of the breeds I’ve worked with include Chihuahuas, Beagles, Golden Retrievers, Pomeranians, and a variety of lovable mixes. Every dog is unique, and I truly enjoy getting to know each one’s personality and quirks. Whether they’re shy or outgoing, young or elderly, I’m patient, gentle, and always happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. I’m usually available Monday through Friday, which means I have plenty of time throughout the day to walk, play with, and care for your pup. Whether they need a midday stroll, some company while you’re away, or just a little extra love and attention, I’m happy to be there for them. I’m home often, so I’m able to keep a close eye on the dogs and make sure they’re always safe and cared for. While my yard is open and unfenced, I never leave dogs outside unattended—they’re always on a leash and supervised, with access to a sunny, enclosed sunroom for extra comfort. For smaller dogs, I have a crate available if preferred by the owner, and I’m also able to provide transport in case of a vet emergency. My home is stocked with cozy blankets and toys that are always available for dogs to borrow and enjoy. Located in a quiet, beautiful area, the home offers plenty of space to explore, bird- and squirrel-watching opportunities, and nearby parks for peaceful outings. The spacious living room and multiple rooms allow for safe separation if needed, ensuring every dog feels comfortable. Most of all, your pup will enjoy peace, safety, and lots of love while in my care.

About: I have had pets for 40 years and taken care of others' pets for 30 years. I am a reliable, peppy, retired teacher and counselor. Currently I have open availability. I am retired and want to build my pet/home sitting business. I welcome any and all requests for pet or home sitting as I build my business. I do not have any pets of my own. I lost my precious kitty last year and am not ready to add a new pet to my home. I do however have 3 grand kitties and 3 granddogs that I take care of and walk. As a caregiver to your pet I can provide focused attention to your pet. I do not have a fenced yard but am ready, willing and able to provide excellent walks for your pet.
“Odin loved his time at Jesseeka’s. He was so tired from playing all day with Benny & all the outside time he got in a big old yard ! He can’t wait for his next daycare time !”

“I would recommend Kassia to anyone looking for a reliable, professional dog sitter. She was communicative, met with us a couple of days before the actual sit, and accommodated our early 6 a.m. drop-off that we needed (which happened to be on Daylight Savings as well). Moreover, our dog was excited when we dropped him off (always a good sign to us), and was tired when we got home.”

“My puppy was well cared for, and was definitely very active during her visit. When she came home, she was immediately ready to lay down and relax after her eventful day. Definitely worth coming scheduling more days.”

About: My name is Hannah, and I've been taking care of pets since a very young age. I love going on walks, no matter what the weather is, I will walk in any kind of weather just as long as the dog will walk. I like to take my time and build the pet's trust, even when they are shy at first. I always make sure I understand the information that is given to me. I love it when a pup gets used to seeing me, remembers my car, and gets so excited to see me. I did move from IL to Indiana, and i do have about 4 acres to run around to get some energy out. I use to work at a doggy day care. I stay at home taking care of any animal that i have for a petting sitting when i do not have a pet sitting I try to look for walks to meet new pets I have a fenced-in yard and also have about 4 acres of land. I take the pups out to use the bathroom and run them around to tire them out

“Joy and Dan are great! My dog has stayed at their house before and this time we booked dog walking. They will always be my go to people on this app because I know my dogs at in amazing hands. Thanks again!”
About: I have had animals all my life, especially dogs amongst a few small pets. I have two dogs myself and I am training all of them with basic commands. I have 5 years of experience in training American pitbulls mixes to have as pets around children and other small animals. Something that sets me apart from others is that I recognize dogs and cats behavior such as signs of discomfort. I have personal experience with raising and caring for dogs of all sizes. I want animals to be comfortable, safe, and healthy. This may be disconcerting for owners that expect their pet to have free roam. I would expect multiple walks and sleeping in their dog beds considering the pets disposition as well as updates about pet stay. For house sitting, I will be willing to adjust prices if my own dogs are allowed to accompany me (not required). I am currently doing delivery services such as Grubhub and Doordash so I set the times I work. I have a flexible schedule and do not leave my home very often. I have 2 small dogs that are playful and dog friendly. I do not have a fenced yard, but I do use the long tie out leashes and outdoor playpens. I recently made a potty area for my dogs. I clean and disinfect it multiple times a week with natural products.

“Gillian communicates well and answers my messages in a timely fashion. She is on time for her visits. My pup Ransom is usually hesitant the first few times around a new sitter, but warmed to Gillian and went on a walk with her no problem. Thank you.”

“Juliana boarded my cat Pistachio for a few days. Everything went great. She sent pictures throughout and drop off and pickup were quick and painless. Will definitely book her services again.”

“Holly took excellent care of our pups while we were away for a few days. She sent tons of updates and pictures and made sure to give our dogs extra love in a new environment. Highly recommend booking with Holly.”

“Lali was awesome! Being new to the area. We had a hard time putting our trust in someone who could watch Rusty. He came home clean and happy!! Her dogs played really well with him. No issues whatsoever.”

“Noel and his family were wonderful. Everyone gave Tom love and affection. I have no doubt that he felt very well looked after. Every day she didn't hesitate to respond to my messages and send photos. It reassures us a lot when we know that our pet friends are in good hands.”
