About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.

Being in a new environment for the first time pets will be pets. They aren’t perfect. Feel free to ask me any questions if need be. **(For example old pictures of pet only to arrive and they are 3 times the size) - 100% we have to have a meet n greet prior to sitting. Returning customers the meet and greet does not apply. For last minute requests please contact me directly I will try my best to accommodate but please be advised there may be a fee associated depending on the circumstance. Especially if there is no time to set up a meet n greet and I’m only going off photos. I helped my mom run a cat rescue for over 8 years (that includes waking up every 2 hours to bottle feed, giving medication, handling moody kitties, cleaning up constant messes, etc). Since then, I've been trusted to pet sit for friends, coworkers, and family members. I have slightly more experience house sitting with cats than dogs, but I love all pets equally and would be so happy to meet them! I offer overnight stays/house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking. I am currently pet sitting full time. I am available on weekdays and weekends however early or late as needed, and for as many drop-ins as needed. My schedule is very flexible! I have 5 years of experience in training American pitbulls mixes to have as pets around children and other small animals. Something that sets me apart from others is that I recognize dogs and cats behavior such as signs of discomfort. I have personal experience with raising and caring for dogs of all sizes. I want animals to be comfortable, safe, and healthy. This may be disconcerting for owners that expect their pet to have free roam. I would expect multiple walks and sleeping in their dog beds considering the pets disposition as well as updates about pet stay. For house sitting, I will be willing to adjust prices if my own dogs are allowed to accompany me (not required). I am currently doing delivery services such as Grubhub and Doordash so I set the times I work. I have a flexible schedule and do not leave my home very often. I have 2 small dogs that are playful and dog friendly. I do not have a fenced yard, but I do use the long tie out leashes and outdoor playpens. I recently made a potty area for my dogs. I clean and disinfect it multiple times a week with natural products.

About: My name is Danielle Zawistowski and I am 33 years old. I am a mama to my Jack Russell Terrier named Russell. I have done daily check-in visits, house sitting, walks, feeding, and oral/eye medication! I have prior work experience working at Humane Indiana and Griffith Animal Control. I do offer your fur baby a glamous spa day! I bathe, brush out, clip/file nails, clean ears, and trim up! I am currently working part-time as a Doordash and Instacart shopper. I am able to make my own schedule. Your animal will remain top priority at all times! Treat them as if they were my own! Show them kindness & patience, nurture & comfort. Daily exercise and activities are important! Provide enrichment activities if so.
About: I have been around all sorts of animals my whole life and I have always helped take care of them. I am able to properly feed, exercise and care for any of your dog needs. I have also been caring for horses and learning about animal needs while working at the horse barn. I’m currently a student at IU Northwest and working at a horse barn, but that doesn’t mean that your pet isn’t one of my top priorities. I have mornings free as well as most afternoons. About: I have had a lot of experience since my teens and I continue to have a constant bond with animals. My newest edition is a Bern doodle. I am willing to FaceTime/communicate with pet parent as needed! (I know how hard it is to be away from our pets). I am an ex-School Counselor who left the field of Education after 16 years. I assist husband with our business but my days are flexible to accommodate boarding bookings. Pets stay indoors. I have a fenced in area with a doggie door for in-out access to grassy area. I also have a crate if needed. Willing to feed your pup as instructed, take walks, and supervise always! If needed or desired, I have the ability to separate my dogs from yours. All my dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heart guard and are friendly. I would recommend a visit to my home with pet prior to boarding to allow your dog to get to know me, put your mind at ease, and ensure it’s a great fit for them!
