“This was our first experience with Rover.com, and we were a little nervous about leaving our beloved senior kitty duo in the care of “strangers,” even though Alison and Robert had many exemplary reviews. Whatever hesitation we felt was immediately put to rest when we had our meet and greet. We found Alison and Robert both to be warm and caring and patient, but also incredibly professional and thorough. They asked a lot of questions (and made a lot of notes) about each kitteh’s likes, dislikes, medical and emotional needs, favorite spots and toys, etc. They didn’t blink at hand feeding our toothless Persian rescue, and even succeeded at brushing both cats regularly (a feat we are still marveling at since our efforts have always been met with swats and glares). They even gently removed a tummy mat that we’d been gingerly working on before we left. Incredible! And all of that doesn’t even include the best part of working with them, which was the comforting and informative communication we received after every visit. Each update included the basics like meal and potty status, but also humorous and endearing notes and photos that captured our babies at play and getting lots of love and individualized attention. These photos and notes enabled us to fully enjoy our time away, because we could regularly see how relaxed and happy our pets were. Bonus: many of the shots were so artistic and well done that they rivaled those of a professional photographer! In closing, I would tell anyone considering a booking with Alison and Robert that they truly understand and love animals and know how to cultivate trust. I can tell that our cats really enjoyed their time while we were away, and I bet that they wonder when they’ll get to spend time again with their new friends. Thank you, Alison and Robert. About: My journey in animal care began in 2017 as a kennel technician, and over the past 8 years, I’ve grown into a skilled veterinary assistant with extensive experience caring for dogs, cats and exotic pets of all breeds and temperaments. When I go home, I hug my 2 cats and 2 dogs after a long days work. I also have owned a hedgehog who is now in heaven, and I had the pleasure of growing with and caring for my childhood dog who is also in heaven with my hedgie. From daily walks and enrichment to assisting in exams and treatments, I’ve had the privilege of supporting our furry friends through every stage of life. I’m trained in administering medications—whether it’s a pill, injection, or special diet—and I always prioritize comfort, safety, and trust. Whether your fur baby is playful, shy, or needs a little extra TLC, I bring patience, experience, and a whole lot of love to every visit. I work weekdays 7a-3p, so I am available M-F after 3-3:30p. Saturdays and Sundays I am usually away. I can answer any questions on availability and openings for walks and drop ins! I fully acknowledge that I am entering into your home and that alone is the biggest reason I go above and beyond on building trust with you and fur babies. Safety is my highest priority — I want everyone to feel safe before I ever step foot into your home. I require a meet and greet to start the process; this is to make sure your pet(s) get familiarized with my presence, then I assess compatibility after 1-2 bookings. If I’m concerned about temperament, we will next steps and gauge whether or not we can move forward with future bookings. There are times when pets display signs of stress or protective/territorial behaviors when a stranger enters their home, especially if it’s for the first time. While I’m comfortable caring for an array of temperaments, the last thing I want is your pet to be stressed and unhappy. I am transparent about this process upfront as I prioritize safety for all parties. Upon meeting you and your pet for the first time, I will ask you (many) questions and write all information provided down and go over everything with you before ending the meet and greet session. This will include questions regarding specialized care, diet, temperament, etc. I will also ask for an emergency contact and veterinarian information in the case there is an emergency while you’re not home. For all of my services I make sure to accurately follow all instructions provided with consistent text and picture updates. I NEVER touch anything in your home besides pet-related items disclosed at our meet and greet unless I have permission. After services are completed, I refill all food/water bowls, put back all pet related items such as food and toys where they belong, tidy up if permitted, and give your pets some extra TLC before leaving!

“We have three rescue cats, all with issues. Lola has extreme separation anxiety when we are gone and strangers are in the house, she has accidents, throws up, and she hides. Rosie has food allergies that cause ear infections—Rx food is required and she cannot have what the other two eat. Ellie has a recurring viral eye infection. After nightmare scenarios for 10 years, we were finally able to leave with confidence and returned home to no accidents, no messes, and zero issues. Anne is a miracle worker. We love her.”

About: I have had 3 dogs and 8 cats throughout my life. As well as rescuing 6 cats and 1 dog from around my county. I love impacting a pets life and giving them the love and care they deserve. I love taking care of all breeds and sizes of animals! I am currently a student and have a few side jobs which makes it easy for me to schedule. I am very flexible with times and dates. I like to get as much information about the pets as I can, including any illnesses/ health issues, favorite toys, favorite food, and any other activities they enjoy. Each animal is different and has their own personality and I think it’s important to take that in account while taking care of them. I have no issues taking care of pets with health or emotional issues, whether this means giving them medication or being aware of activities that can upset or help them.

About: Just an introverted book lover that loves to work with animals :) I have worked with/had pets of my own for almost my whole life. I have fed, walked, played with and bathed animals of all different breeds and sizes. I have experience administering medication and am very adaptable with whatever your needs are. They are part of our family after all! I have a rotating schedule with my full time job, so I have lots of availability with anywhere between five and thirteen days off in a row. Communication is key. I always send updates with everything that is happening. Arrival/departure, updates, changes in pet behavior, pictures etc. Any home I go into I treat just as if it were my own. Security, cleanliness and punctuality are vital.

About: I know how hard it can be to find reliable and trustworthy pet care. I will always be intentional with the care I provide and will never hesitate to go above and beyond as I would want for my pets. I work full-time from home. I have overnight, morning, evening, and weekend availability. I can also work from anywhere, so I would be happy to work remotely in your home to spend extra time with your pets. I have a large fenced in yard that is empty minus a secured shed. We also have a mostly empty dining room for extra space and we allow all pets on all furniture.
