About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.

About: While I have not had the opportunity to formally dog sit yet or own a dog myself, I am genuinely eager to begin and excited to care for your pup. I have always enjoyed dogs because their joy is contagious! When I see a dog running on the beach or feeling the wind with their head out the car window, I can’t help but think they must be so happy in that moment. Seeing that kind of pure joy always makes me smile. I understand that dogs are family, and I would treat yours with the same patience, attentiveness, and affection I give my own pets. I am responsible, dependable, and committed to learning your dog’s specific routines and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I can make sure your pup has fresh food and water, playtime, relaxing walks, lots of snuggles, and any (simple) medication they may need. I work full-time at a school during the week, but I can be available for pet care in the afternoons, evenings, and all day on weekends and holidays. I am happy to provide consistent, reliable care during those times and can be flexible when needed. I will care for your pet in your home according to you and your pet’s specific needs and routine. I will be respectful of your home and provide the best level of care to ensure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away.

I do not have a backyard area or balcony. Animals are free to roam around wherever they please.
