“Dorothy was great with my two kids, she took great care of them! She sent updates and pictures every day which was wonderful. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a dog walker☺️❤️”

“Valerie is awesome, she’s very attentive and knowledgeable about dogs. Highly recommend her. She sent us pictures and even went so far as to observe their bowl movements to see how their health was while we were gone. I will be using her in the future whenever we travel!”

“Monica was such a blessing to me to take care of my Maddi during my long work hours. She provided lots of pictures and videos during her visits and always communicated clearly to me. Monica took good care of Maddi and gave her lots of love!🩷”

“My Layla girl had a very stressful day; I was out of town and unable to get to her to cuddle her to bed and Nicole was great with her!! Took her on a walk, tucked her in, and spent the full 30 min taking care of my girl. Also very friendly and communicative!”

“She was 5 minutes early for each drop-in, took cute pics of my pup, and left my home cleaned up and better than she found it. She was also very helpful with my new-dog-mom nerves and offered good advice for which I am extremely grateful. Thanks!”

“Amanda is always the best. I can’t say enough about her, and it’s crazy that Rover won’t let me tip more. She is so attentive, personable, and communicative. Don’t overthink it, just book her if you can. Such an amazing sitter, and you never have to worry about your furry friends. Thank you Amanda!”

“Zaylie was absolutely amazing with Philly! From the very first walk, it was clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She was reliable, communicative, and always kept me updated with photos and notes, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Philly came back happy, exercised, and clearly well taken care of every time. You can tell Zaylie takes pride in what she does and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!”

“i have a fussy and super outgoing bengal cat. Alden has exceeded my expectations with his attention towards my cat and he takes amazing pictures. He is also very communicative with me about how things are going. He is also quick to respond which I appreciate. I will definitely use him in the future!”

“Maritess is very professional and she does an excellent job with our girls. She sends plenty of pictures (which are always very well taken)and we can tell that our cats are very comfortable around her.”

“Morgan did a fantastic job! Our puppy is a bit of a handful and she took the time to let her warm up to her by playing with her and giving her treats before taking both dogs for a walk so my husband and I could enjoy a night out. She was kind, considerate, and really put my mind at ease even though I was far from home. Thank you Morgan! ❤️”

About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.
“Madeline was amazing! I've had a lot of Rover experiences and Madeline was by far the best! Right away, the dogs loved her and she has been so nice and communicative. She will definitely be our go to for our dog care.”

About: I grew up with dogs and had a special bond with my family’s dog in college. She loved when I would take her on an “interval run.” I recently successfully fed my friend’s five dogs. Please, I would love to meet your dog(s) with you there to get to know them first. I am officially insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates in case of an inopportune incident taking place while my clients’ pets and homes are in my care. Insurance certificate available upon request if we move forward with a meet-and-greet. I work full-time 8 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. I don’t mind getting up early to check on your fur baby. I work in the 30904 zip code, so I could potentially check on them during my hourlong lunch break if you live close enough. I work to ensure that a pet who is not allowed outside a certain door stays inside. When I fed my friend’s five dogs a couple of months ago, I was told one was an escape artist, but I successfully left out of the front door without her getting out. Please let me know what command words your pet is familiar with.
“Highly recommend!!! Meaghan not only accepted a pet sit for me on short notice but was a great communicator, kind and kept us informed. She was also super punctual and thoughtful about the meds she was giving and what our dogs needed. I had great peace of mind knowing she was caring for our babies while we were out of town.”

“Sally is amazing with our pups and we greatly appreciated her for accommodating our last minute schedule change! She takes great pictures and gives us updates on her visits.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Sand Hills
It was a PLEASURE to have Nicole drop in on our baby, Maverick while we were out of town. Our usual sitter was unavailable for our last minute trip and I scrambled trying to find someone right before having to leave. Nicole was available to meet right away and she took the best care of him. I could tell from the moment he met her that he would love her. All of his check in pics had a huge smile on his little face lol We’ll definitely be booking with Nicole again in the future!

Meaghan is excellent! Consistent communication, quick to respond and very, very sweet. She did a great job checking on my 2 cats while I was gone for almost an entire week. Sent pictures every day and always checked in with me after her visit was done. If I ever need another sitter will 100% think of her first. Thank you Meaghan!!!

We were a bit nervous about leaving for a few days when Koko required some additional pampering during her visits. Fortunately, Bradley's messages let us know exactly how she was doing and put us at ease! He went above and beyond and we don't think she missed us a bit.

Jasmin agreed to watch our cats for two weeks while we went on vacation. I was quite nervous as it was our first time using rover and we have some finicky cats. I was very worried initially as i have a senior cat with some health issues and my other is very shy and quick to refuse food when stressed. She was very confident when we met her and when we introduced her to the cats both of them immediately took to her. This was a first for us as again my one cat has never been so friendly upon meeting someone for the first time but I genuinely believe it was because she has a fantastic personality and animal handling skills. For two weeks she was prompt and clear with her communication and took great photos that made me feel comfortable about my cats' condition. Of course, there were also funny moments she was able to capture which really put me at ease. She was able to identify their patterns of behavior and made notes on it. I appreciate her thoughtfulness on refilling their litter and water fountain. The most memorable thing she did for us was when we were delayed an extra day coming back for our vacation she was completely understanding and agreed to watch the cats on such extremely short notice. If I ever have to get a pet sitter again I know that she will be my first choice going forward. Thank you Jasmin!!
