“Holly was absolutely amazing. Me and my fiance dropped off Maggie not knowing what to expect but she had a blast with plenty of room to run and sniff. We got multiple pictures every day especially super cute ones. I cannot sing her praise enough this was absolutely amazing and 11/10 would recommend.”

“Mary is a gem! She was incredibly attentive and responsive. I appreciated the regular updates and was very satisfied with the care she provided for my dog. She was also very flexible and accommodated travel delays and schedule changes. I cannot recommend her enough and would absolutely book her again! I could not have asked for a better experience!”

“What a fresh of breath air to find someone as great as Nicole! This was our 1st short trip away from Kobe since we got him at 8 weeks old. It seemed like he got his own little vacation as well since he was well taken care of. Nicole is great on the updates, her home was clean and well kept. My Puppy Kobe did behave from what Nicole said and did well with others at her home. I’m glad we found Nicole! Thank you bunches Nicole. You truly have a wonderful heart for furry babies ??”

“Carol was great with my dog, Henry! Even in her small space, he felt right at home. She took amazing care of him and even helped with his training. She sent photos & updates throughout his stay. Highly recommend!”

“My husky, Koda, had a fantastic time with Valentina & Stephen and their dog Luke. He ran and played in their gigantic, beautiful yard, got lots of attention and cuddles and was taken to the park and restaurants with them. They took excellent care of Koda I can't recommend Val and Stephen more highly. I've already booked another stay for Koda!”

“I felt comfortable leaving my big guy with Rosita. We did a meet and greet at first so I could see if it was a good fit. She has a spacious yard and took him for long walks. She was very attentive and asked questions to make sure he was well cared for. She updated me during the day with photos and videos. I would totally book with her again and recommend her to anyone! Thank you!!”

“Denise is the best! I was dreading leaving my dog and Denise reassured me before and during shortie’s stay. She sent me many updates. Shortie had a BLAST!!!!! I feel so much better now knowing that there is someone I can trust leaving shortie with. Thank you so much for taking care of Shortie!!!!!”

“Marion is a lifesaver! Kirby needed a place to stay while we were in the Monterey area, and Marion offered a spacious yard, plenty of attention and walks, and lots of fun and games with other large dogs. Also: Marion takes the best dog photos. We are so lucky to have found Marion on rover and this experience makes us want to come visit Monterey again soon!”

“I will definitely call upon Mahrukh again. I felt secure leaving my pet with her while I attended a wedding. She was professional and showed her home where Roble would stay for the day and sent me updates so I could feel at ease.”

“I highly recommend Johemy! 🐱 Our Katy kitty was comfortable and well cared for. We hit pictures and updates all during our trip and it was so nice to see her! We will call Johemy again for another trip!”

“Jill was a great dog sitter!!! Her and her husband spoiled our Great Dane! . I love that they live next to the dog park! I know that is a huge plus for our dog. Jill was extremely responsive with great details of what was going on. I appreciated her fast responses, her positivity and the pictures! She really made us feel comfortable leaving him there. We are grateful she is happy to welcome Beau back. Not everyone can handle a 165# Great Dane in there space. As Jill and her husband saw, Beau gives no personal space, he just wants attention and love the whole time, and the way their daily life is set up I looks like Beau got exactly what he wanted. Loves of love, lots of social /play time with the dogs at the dog park, lots of attention when back at the house and plenty of opportunities to sleep, exactly how a Great Dane likes it!”

“Stasha & her boyfriend were wonderful! It was our first time boarding our pup and I was very nervous. She kept us updated throughout the day, and communication was great. She would send pictures as well! We will definitely book with her again.”

My dog is crate trained and can be kennel and separate if needed!
“Murphy had an absolute amazing time with Adriana! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for boarding services. Her setup is perfect for any pup looking to have fun in a safe environment.”

“Debra did a great job of making us and our dog, Skye, feel welcome. She sent us daily updates with pictures of Skye with her family or out taking walks. She was a last minute provider for us as our usual care person was not available for the dates we needed. She only keeps one guest dog at a time. Skye and her dog, Ginger, got along well.”

“Grace and Claudio were great! They are very responsive, responsible, and my dog had a great time. They sent lots of happy dog photos during the stay and made all logistics very easy. We hope to use them again if we are in the area.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Nashua
Bridget took amazing care of Beau after her surgery. She was incredibly attentive, managing the cone, watching her leg, giving her the right food, and keeping us updated the whole time. Beau was comfortable, happy, and clearly loved being with her. We’re so grateful for the extra care and patience. Highly recommend Bridget to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable sitter! 💛🐾

Bridget was amazing. Kept me updated sent videos and photos. I felt a bit anxious leaving my pup for that long, but Lolita looked like she had a blast on her walks, playing with toys and cuddling with Bridget. I would definitely recommend her and I will be using her services again. She was so patient and understanding when Lolita had a few mishaps.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Nashua home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Nashua.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Nashua sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
