About: I love bathing and grooming animals. I want to build my experience in the professional field so that way I am able to learn how to be the best dog groomer and the best dog bather you’ll ever know. I take pride and passion and taking care of my dogs as I am training them to become the best family dog and the most behaved, keeping your pets, healthy and occupied will help boost my career and help me get towards my goal into the animal industry I currently am searching for a part-time job and as of April, I am not available on Sundays and Mondays, but other than that, I’m able to do whatever is needed I’m able to have pups at my house as long as they are friendly as I have a dog of my own who loves other dogs and we have two cats and a bunny. I’m willing to do overnight visits and I am willing to go make your dogs and I’m willing to clip nails and brush teeth and I can even do some basic training If I was kept if your dog, I typically would take them to a dog park and I would bring a water bottle for themselves a water bottle for me a water bowl for them and a nice bag of treats to reward good behavior and training. I have a gate and some puppy pads if I’m taking care of a puppy that could not touch the ground however I prefer to not have any pets at my house if avoidable
“Zella took great care of my dog, Bijou. He was feed twice a day and walked once a day which is my normal routine. She did a nice full walk around several blocks and documented pees and poops for me. He looked happy when I came home. I will use her dog care services again in the future.”

“Kathrine was such a delight. She cares for only one dog at a time so she can devote her full attention and our Snowy appreciated that. Her house is set so nicely for pet sitting and the neighborhood was terrific for dog walks. Thank you, Katharine.”

About: I have taken care of dogs from a young age and have great experience and have had happy families with the dogs I’ve taken on walks and have simply checked in on. Pet care fits into my routine between classes and study time. I walk, feed, and play with them daily and it’s relaxing and keeps me active too. Ensure they are properly well fed and given water and taken out when needed. Aswell as playing with their toys and or getting a nap in as pets enjoy doing so when they are comfortable

About: I’ve been on dog duty my whole life—growing up in a family that always had a pup means caring for dogs isn’t just something I do, it’s second nature. I’ve seen it all, from chaotic puppy zoomies to the gentle pace of senior strolls, and I adjust my care to fit every stage in between. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to for house sitting, trusted with everything from feeding and long walks to bath time and even administering medication (yes, I can outsmart a dog who thinks they’ve successfully hidden a pill). I also majored in musical theatre—an unexpected but very real advantage in pet care. I’m calm, patient, attentive to energy and mood, and not above singing a little tune to keep a nervous pup relaxed or a happy one entertained. Therefore, your dog might get a serenade or two on our walks—don’t worry, they’re a very supportive audience. I’m originally from New Jersey, so I’ve walked dogs in just about every weather mood swing possible—blistering cold, pounding heat, and everything in between. No matter what’s going on outside, your dog gets the walk they deserve… sniff breaks included, no extra charge 🐾 I’m currently working from home so I have complete availability when it comes to fitting pet care into my schedule! I am available for house calls and house sittings completely as well since working from home allows me to bring work wherever I go, whenever. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m mindful about security—locking up properly, keeping routines consistent, and making sure your dog stays safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their familiar space. You can trust that I’ll be attentive not just to your pet’s needs, but to your home as well, leaving everything just as I found it (plus a happy, well-walked dog). 🐾
About: Animals have always been part of my life — and caring for them never feels like work. I’m a dependable, attentive pet sitter who understands that leaving your pets (and home) requires real trust. From long walks and backyard zoomies to cozy couch cuddles and quiet companionship for cats, I meet pets where they are. I currently have a cat of my own, so I especially understand the unique personalities of our feline friends. I care for dogs, cats, and small animals — and I’m happy to keep your home running smoothly while you’re away. Mail collected, plants watered, everything just as you left it. Happy pets. Happy homes. Total peace of mind. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day. I’m available for morning, midday, evening, and overnight visits, and I’m happy to accommodate consistent weekly walks or as-needed bookings. Because I structure my work independently, your pet’s routine and timing can truly come first. Your pet’s comfort and routine are my top priorities. I care for animals in their own home exactly as instructed — maintaining feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs (if applicable), and any household preferences you outline. I’m respectful, responsible, and treat every home with care and discretion. I’m best suited for pets with established routines and straightforward care needs, and I’m committed to creating a calm, safe, low-stress environment while you’re away.
About: I have been taking care of pets for my neighbors, friends, and family since I was 13. I have looked after elderly pets, as well as newborns, and have taken care of up to three at a time. I have a flexible schedule and can promise to spend lots of quality time with your pets! I am home from college until the end of this month and have a very flexible schedule up until then. Besides dropping off my siblings in the morning, and picking them up at 3:30, I am available to adhere to your pets needs! I am always very respectful of my clients homes and great at cleaning up after pets. I cannot stay overnight, but can spend the day with them or do routinely check-ins, depending on your preferences. I can easily crate dogs if needed, take them on walks, and promise to spend lots of quality time with your pets!
About: I have had dogs my entire life and have helped take care of them, mostly big german shepherds, but I’ve also helped care for smaller dogs like Shih Tzu’s and blue heelers. I also love cats and have helped foster kittens which has given me expierience with bottle feeding. I work full time as a preschool teacher, which leaves my weekends and most evenings free for all the fur babies! My heart is truly full when working with animals, and treat every pet like my own! I take care of other peoples pets like my own and treat them with love and care, I also understand your pets basic needs like a nice long walk, consistent cold water and feeding times, along with the importance of medication.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Napa
Gianna was an amazing sitter for our cat Eli while we took a short trip out of town. Always arrived promptly at the times to feed and take care of Eli and from the looks of the pictures, he got Cody with her very quickly!! We will definitely be using her services again.

We had a very good experience with Kelly, she listened to what’s important to us and we felt like she communicated really well. We received a lot of feedback on how our cats were doing, interacting and behavior information. Kelly also sent a lot of photos which always helps when we’re away. We had a couple of issues with our automated litter machine and Kelly was able to resolve the issue and communicated with us to make sure everything was working properly.

Katie did a wonderful job taking care of our two kitties. She quickly earned their trust, played with them, sent the cutest pictures and successfully administered pills to one of the cats - which is no easy feat. We are so glad we found her and will hire Katie, without any hesitation whatsoever, for our future trips.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Napa. On Rover:

- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
