“scott & shayla are amazing! they took incredible care of our 10 month old fox red lab for two weeks. initially i was hesitant to leave her for the first time but they clearly have a way with dogs. i was able to pick up and drop off my dog to go to the beach or leave her for the day based on work; their flexibility made things so easy and enjoyable. we received texts and photo updates and calmed my nerves immediately. i will definitely work with scott and shayla in the near future! thank you both :)”

“You guys, Michele is the one!! I couldn't have imagined a better person to care for my baby! She's so loving and so fun and a true kind soul. It's obvious that she truly loves these pups. My little guy had a great vacation with her! She took him out every day to super fun places and he had the time of his life! She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was happy and felt comfortable, even hand-feeding him his food when he didn't really want to eat. We're so thankful for her and can't wait to use her again!”

“Karen hosted my dog Lulu overnight and was very genial & accommodating as well as an excellent communicator. It was clear that Lulu felt very comfortable with Karen and her sweet dog.”

“Lorna was wonderful! She asked questions ahead of Koa’s stay to make sure that Koa would be comfortable; she kept Koa active with lots of walks and rides; she sent frequent photos and updates to let me know that Koa was adjusting well and having fun; she was quick to respond to texts. Based on Koa’s big doggie smile in the photos that Lorna sent, I think Koa had more fun on Nantucket than we did! I highly recommend Lorna. We will certainly hire her again next summer.”

“My 2 year old Lab/Golden Cross had a great weekend with Julie, her dog Ellie and another client's puppy. It was a last minute booking request but she agreed to a meet & greet first. Julie's calm and loving demeanor as well as her beautiful and inviting home convinced me my dog would be in good care. And she was. Having another client's puppy to run around with was a bonus! Thank you, Julie!”

“Ruby was awesome , very communicative on our pup Arrow 5 days staying with her . Highly recommend Ruby !”

“Shelly was very responsive and took great care of our two Goldens!”

“These two were amazing!!! They have two small dogs who are welcoming and loved my Roxie. They have a beautiful, fenced in backyard with plenty of shade and room for the dogs to get their energy out. The house was nice and most importantly, Roxie was clearly well cared for with belly rubs and attention as she seemed to not want to leave! I loved that they offered a visit first to make sure it was a good fit and their communication was great while I was gone. Will definitely use again.”

About: I’m a 32 year old teacher who is looking to take some new pet friends on walks this summer. I have an almost 3 year old chihuahua who is the center of my world, and I have previous experience house-sitting, walking and boarding. I’d love to meet you and your furry friends! Available starting June 20th, during the week and most weekends. Typically available 8-4, and can walk your friend near you or take them on an adventure! Available to help year-rounders and seasonal friends! Boarding can be worked out on request! My wife and I have a fenced in yard, and our fur baby Bonsai is very dog-friendly. The yard is decent sized, and I stay outside and play with our friends in order to keep an eye on them. We can crate as needed, and are pretty flexible. Bonsai and I love our walks, and I can bring Bonsai along to keep your pet company if you would like! As for boarding, we’ve had three different sets of furry friends board at our home already this year!

About: I have always loved dogs and cats but since my dad was asthmatic we never had them growing up. To fulfill this love of animals I have been dog-sitting and walking for friends and neighbors since I was 12 years old. I absolutely love getting to spend time with these furry friends and helping people out as well. I would love to get a dog/cat soon but also recognize how large of a responsibility it is so for now I just pet-sit. I am currently a senior at URI and have designed my schedule to have Thursday-Sunday off. Which means those days I can care for pets 24/7. I have a large yard for your pet to explore and three supportive roommates to give them extra walks and cuddles. I have space in my room and house for a crate and any other large supplies. My house is also within walking distance to multiple parks and the beach so your pet will never get bored!

“Madaket watched our dog Cooper for a week, and was wonderful! She sent us photos each day showing the days activities which included going for walks, playing with her dog Bermuda, and just relaxing. When Cooper came home to us, he was relaxed and happy (unlike when he had been boarded elsewhere). Not only can we highly recommend Madaket to watch your pet, but we have already booked Cooper to be with her again for a couple more stays.”

“Chelsea and her family were fantastic! They were able to take in a last-minute request for a dog with separation anxiety and were very accommodating! We received photos and learned that Pabu enjoyed not only his time with Chelsea but also their baby!”
