“Suzanna is amazing. Took care of my bestest boy with care on short notice and she was great with him. Will be my go to for and sittings in the future. Thank you for treating my buddy so amazing.”

“Renee is absolutely wonderful! She really "hears" you and what your pet's particular needs and concerns are (in my case, a wonderful and generally very sweet cat but with a feral history that can make her sometimes unpredictable), and Renee is super-attuned to all of that. And of course, she makes sure that all the details are covered! I would definitely recommend Renee and suspect my cat would like her to be here every day, always. :)”

“Brittany did a great job coming to feed my cats twice a day while I was away. She followed all of the instructions well. Most importantly, she was very responsive and sent updates and photos which set my mind at ease. Thank you Brittany!”

“Great communication and Brego was so comfortable from the first check in and enjoyed the special attention. Really helped me with a last minute service and looking forward to future bookings!”

“This is mine & my husband’s first time using rover & Jennifer was so great to our London. London is a sweet girl & she gets very nervous when her family leaves her but she soon warmed up to Jennifer. She was so great, she sent pictures, videos & updates on how London was doing & showed that they played together. Highly recommend!”

“Brittany is AWESOME! She gave my babies more love and attention than I could’ve ever asked for. She exceeds expectations in every capacity. Highly recommend, we feel so lucky to have her!”

About: I've owned dogs and other smaller pets most of my life! I've tended to and love both big dogs and little dogs. Old or young, big or small, I've got ya covered. I have availability during weekdays and minimal weekend hours. Drop-in visits and walks are my specialty! Need waste clean up in the yard? I can swing by just for that or tack it on to a walk at a small increase. Send me a message and we can tailor your service. I have room for crates and a fenced yard if needed. I'm someone else's home I'm happy to adapt to the owners needs and what is available for them.
About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve had dogs my entire life, so being around them has always been second nature to me. Friends, family, and neighbors regularly trust me to dog sit, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with every dog I meet. I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and will always provide plenty of affection, exercise, and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is in good hands. I just graduated college so I have a lot of down time to take care of your babies. I would love to be able to be a safe place for people to leave their pets. However you like your babies cared for, I’m happy to accommodate! Whether that’s going for a walk, playing in the yard, or simply letting them out for a potty break!
About: I am a dog lover. If you could own 10 dogs, I would! I have always owned and cared for dogs and would love to walk your dog. My 13 year-old chocolate lab/ pit mix went over the rainbow bridge last year and I loved taking him on daily walks. . I also have three cats. I am a very active person, so walking your dog would benefit me and your dog. When I first meet a dog, I am immediately in love with them. As long as their owner says it’s ok, i always stop to pet them and talk to them. I don't show any fear in approaching them and I think that helps them trust me. I have open availability.
“Sarah was a HREAT fit for us. She came out to meet the kids before and get instructions. She was considerate and communicated, before and during her visits. I would book her again when needed. Thank you Sarah.”

“Channing did a great job with the two pups! You can tell when you come home and the dogs are as relaxed and happy as when you left them. She left daily reports, pictures, and went above in all aspects of our vacation. I would highly recommend her and the services she provides! Hopefully we can have her pet visits again in 2024!”

About: I’ve loved, lived with and cared for dogs nearly my whole life! I’ve seldom met a dog I didn’t like and I think they’d say the same for me! 😉 I currently have three loving pals named Freyja, Handsome and Brio. I know there’s more to caring for a pet than simply feeding and walking. I will pack in as much TLC as possible, even if it’s just for 30 minutes. I’m pleased to fulfill the wishes of their parents to the letter! So if your little one (or big one) is looking for a step-in companion, I’m happy to oblige! ☺️🐶💕 I’m currently working part time from home and spend most of my day with my three fur babies, so I have lots of open availability! One of my dogs is a rescue with special needs. He does wonderfully with my husband, me and our two other dogs, but he needs to meet someone several times before being comfortable with them. Because of this, we would not just bring another animal into our home, but I am happy to come to your home to provide care, playtime and walks.
About: I've taken care and owned multiple types of dogs and cats. I have watched pets during the day and over night. I love meeting new dogs and cats. I work part time so that means I am available during different parts of the day and night. I am willing to do over nights. When I am watching pets in different clients home, I will make sure nothing in the house is damaged. I will not touch anything I don't have to. I will walk or let out pets. I will feed and water them. I will also take care of any extra needs that the pets have.

About: I have been a cat mom and dog mom, so I am very equipped to handle all types of unique personalities! I know how to make them feel comfortable, and figure out exactly what they need. I currently work part time, so I am very available to prioritize your pets needs! I have a flexible schedule, and am eager to help! I want to treat your pet and your home with respect! Being a cat mom myself, I know how special our furbabies are, and will make sure they are well taken care of, and that you are kept up to date the whole time.
“Brandy took such good care of our cats while we were out of town. She was very attentive to all our instructions and provided great updates while we were gone. Amazing all around!”

About: I’ve had pets for the last 26 years. Two cats that lived to be 18 and 20 years old. I currently have one Australian Labradoodle three years old and two cats, Olive and Luna. I work from home so my pets get to go outside and enjoy love and attention during the day. I walk them for a few minutes during the day and ensure they can go outside when they need it. I don’t have a fence yard. I like to walk my dog with a leash. I don’t like to let my dog wonder around because in Florida you don’t know what insects or other animals could hurt them. I rather stay close to my pets to supervise them and ensure they are safe.

“So lucky to have found Shelley! I was already out of town on my vacation and my cat sitter I had lined up (not through Rover) never showed up. Shelley was quick to respond and came to my house to take care of my kitties! She was great at communicating and made me feel at ease! I would recommend Shelley hands down to anyone. Feel comfortable and safe having Shelley in your home taking care of your babies!!!”

“Lori was quick to respond to our late request (evening prior) and came over for a meet and greet a short time later. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and confirms all instructions! Made us very comfortable for our first Rover experience!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Murdock. On Rover:

- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
