5. shawna J.
About: Hello my name is Shawna! I live with my husband, our 3 boys 5 and under , and our 11 year old dog Zoe. I have many years of dog and farm animal experience. I live on just over an acre of land in the Ranchettes which is a rural neighborhood 5 miles from Punta Gorda Airport. Our entire property is fenced (even the driveway) and the gate is always shut so no need to worry about your dog running off. Our family loves to be outside with the dogs. If it is a hot day we make sure the dogs don’t stay out too long and keep them hydrated. We play fetch or just let the dogs explore on their own. While inside the dogs will be allowed to roam freely and given plenty of attention and treated like our own. Zoe loves to bark at people and their dogs when they first arrive but she is friendly and loves the chance to socialize and play with other dogs. There is a chance your dog’s stay can overlap with another . For that reason I only take friendly, non aggressive dogs. I only work part time 2 days a week and can still come during my lunch hour to let the dogs out. All dogs will maintain same feeding and sleeping routine as they do at your home. I care for them in my home like I do my own dog. Walking and feeding will be done based on each dogs needs. Medications can be given. All dogs will be closely monitored while outside. Please tell me if your dog likes to escape and needs to be leash walked.

6. Sky S.

“This was the first time I used Sky to house and cat sit for me and I am very pleased. First of all, she came to my house to meet us and to discuss my cat's daily routine. She was very professional and attentive, and also gentle when approaching my cat. While I was away, Sky sent me a photo of my cat every day, along with a description of what they did that day, both of which I really appreciated. When I came home, I found everything very clean and in good order, including the litterbox and all of her dishes washed and ready for use. My bed was also freshly made, another very kind thing to do for me! I highly recommend using Sky as a pet sitter and a house sitter, you will be happy you did!”

7. Dawn J.

“Very happy to have found Dawn! She's caring and loves your babies like her own. Dawn was great at documenting Cashmere's glucose level (patience to get the blood draw is necessary and she was and gentle as well) and administering his insulin .... just all around very detailed in her notes and very appreciated! She sent pics too! Dawn moved any packages inside the house and was kind enough to water a plant outside when we didn't get much rain. We appreciate her detail and genuine care and highly recommend her! Thank you SO much, Dawn!!!”

8. Ashley T.

“Very easy to work with. Obi seems happy and like she had a good time. Ash was very reliable would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

9. Tom L.

“Tom did a great job checking in on my 12 yr old cat. He was easy to communicate with and gave detailed reports on his visits. He came recommend by my regular sitter that wasn't available. It was great to receive the same great service that we were accustomed too!”

10. Marina C.

“Marina is very trustworthy and excellent with dogs, cats, and all sorts of animals. She took care of my ferret, my bearded dragon, cats, dog and watched over my fish! She really is an animal person and was the utmost professional, can't speak well enough of her services!”

11. Emily A.

“I board’d my cat Scout w/Emily on 8/12. I picked him up yesterday - I was thrilled with Emily, she worked hard to get Scout out from hiding, was very loving & understanding of his shyness. Emilys cat April was a plus - Scout hadn’t been w/ another cat since 10/21 when I adopted him from the shelter. I’ll have her again.”

She loves her dog more than anything and always gives that kind of love to any dog she meets.”

16. Cynthia W.
About: Over the past 4 years, I’ve helped take care of a family member’s dog (golden retriever) which included house sitting, daily walks, playing fetch, vet visits and grooming appointments. I recently retired and have lots of free time and a very flexible schedule. I’m looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity where I can enjoys walks with a buddy and cuddles from a fur-baby. I would care for pets in your home as I have 3 cats in my home. My focus would be on your special pets and ensuring I follow your requests for caring for them.

18. Eric D.
“When hurricane Ian hit our area, Eric was there for us, clearing fallen trees and providing moral support. Now my wife requires regular visits to her doctors, and Eric makes himself available (on a moment's notice) to take care of Mia, our high-spirited beagle, who absolutely loves Eric to death. So do we.”

19. Jane H.
