About: I have had cats my entire life. As an adult, I adopted Maxine, and the last 10 years have been so wonderful. We are bestie pals, that share a very special bond. I take care of her and love her with my entire being. She even has grown fond of my husband. Maxine and I protect eachother. When we arrived at our "pet-friendly" vacation rental home, we were told that the owner does not allow pets to be left alone in the home AT ALL. We were so flustered and worried we wouldn't be able to leave the house to watch our son. Luckily, Shelley made this terrible inconvenience manageable by allowing us to drop off our dog at her home for a few hours each day while we watched our son's tournament. About: I only take in one pet (and siblings) at a time. I think it's less traumatic for the pets if there are not other animals around when they are separated from their family. I do everything that I can to make the experience fun and loving. I love both cats and dogs for different reasons. I’ve had pets my entire life until recently. Since most of my pets died of old age, I am experienced with geriatric pets and their special needs as well. I follow your instructions on pet-care. I've watched many dogs and cats in different homes with completely different schedules and rules. I am an early bird so if you have dogs, I like to walk early before it gets too hot. But again, if your dog is used to sleeping in, I can work with his schedule. I do this for fun as well as extra income. I only take up to two pets at a time and they must be siblings. I may take in a third depending on circumstances. Just ask! I am mostly home with the pets. I even have my groceries delivered! I go the gym most mornings for about 1.5 hours. About: I am a pre-vet graduate. I have had dogs all my life, and I have watched after multiple family members pets. I volunteered at an animal hospital and shelter in Tallahassee. I previously was a middle school science teacher. I am currently unemployed as I have just moved to Dover Delaware.. At the moment, my pet care would take place between 9 A.M and 3:30 P.M Monday through Friday. 7 A.M to 12 P.M on weekends. I will follow the owners instructions regarding where and how their pets will be cared for. Whether that being in the pets crate or backyard.

Pets are always supervised, have access to fresh water, and receive plenty of playtime, affection, and rest. I’m experienced with crate-trained pets when requested and will send regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.

Monica made sure all the dogs were safe and even managed to give our dog treats with the other dogs with no incidents. All the pictures she sent showed how happy our Bella was being around other dogs. We are amazed at how great Bella’s stay was with Monica!!!!! We highly recommend her for safe and happy visits or long stays. Bella was there for 11 nights. She was so happy that we were afraid she wouldn’t want to come home. About: I've taken care of bunnies, parrots, chickens, dogs, cats, and turtles. I will always make sure that your pet is well cared for and loved. I’m currently not working so I’ll have plenty of free time to watch your pets, play with them, walk them, and feed them. They will be well cared for. I have a small part of my yard fenced but there’s plenty of space for your pets to run around. I have a 4 chickens that roam around but I will lock them up if needed and I have a small senior dog.

Our cat is very nervous around new people and hides the first couple days but Dana let us know that she came out to eat and sit near her which doesn’t happen everytime. She seemed happy and comfortable when I picked her up, and his place is really well set up for dogs, including a large fenced yard with plenty of room to walk around and run. He’s also clearly very knowledgeable about dogs and even worked with her a little on being calmer around cats, which I really appreciated. Overall, I felt very comfortable leaving her with him and would definitely recommend him.”
