“Christa was wonderful to our babies. She was very thoughtful with our home as well!! We have her booked again for our next trip & feel very comfortable with the care she provides.”

About: I have been around dogs since i was born. I had my very own family dog for 17 years. I have watched family and friends dogs in the past. I work as a housekeeper at Home 2 suites by Hilton. Since it is becoming slow season. I work 8am to 2pm, get home by 3pm. I have more than enough time to give everything your pets need to a timely manner. I also have the same days off every week, Monday and Tuesday. So anything specific, that takes time, that needs to be done, I can do on those days. I am a very clean and organized person. I will make sure everything is clean and ready for when you get back and make sure your pets get everything they need.
About: I've taken care of bunnies, parrots, chickens, dogs, cats, and turtles. I will always make sure that your pet is well cared for and loved. I’m currently not working so I’ll have plenty of free time to watch your pets, play with them, walk them, and feed them. They will be well cared for. I have a small part of my yard fenced but there’s plenty of space for your pets to run around. I have a 4 chickens that roam around but I will lock them up if needed and I have a small senior dog.
“Jennifer was attentive and caring with our dog, Ben. She gave him the time and attention that we were looking for. Ben does not like being alone and she helped to ease his anxiety. Jennifer was in constant communication with messages, photos, and videos. She was also very fast to respond and answer questions. I would definitely use her again.”

“Over the past year Tom has taken care of our cat Jesse several times. He goes above and beyond in making sure everything is ok and the communication is great! I highly recommend Tom and he is already scheduled for our next trip! Thanks TOM...Jesse looks forward to your drop in visits🐈🐈”

About: I am patient and loving. Pets are family. They deserve love, kindness and fun. I allow free reign in my house. I have two dogs of my own. Walks and ball are part of our routine. I am a one of a kind person who talks to my animals and enjoy their company and personalities. I allow them to be themselves and still maintain rules. I care for my animals like my family. Love is so easy with sloppy kisses and wagging tails. You will never worry when they are with me. Honestly? I like them more then people! Is that wrong to say? Just know I will care for them as if my own. I will give them attention and love! I never want to board mine in a kennel and neither should you.
“Camillie & Justin T did an outstanding job of taking care of our three cats. Providing food and water and changing litter . Will book again if needed, Highly recommend”

About: I have had my dogs since I was 12 years old. They were my best friends (and still are)! I recently moved for a job but when I was back home I would play frisbee and throw the tennis ball for them everyday along with a walk afterwards. I loved to teach them new tricks and I would love to make new best friends! I studied health and human physiology and work throughout the week but will have plenty of time on my hands to give your pet all the love and attention they need on the weekends! I am a very loving, compassionate, and friendly person especially when it comes to animals. ❤️ I work during the week till around 3/4 everyday so I could check in with your pet later in the day and my weekends are completely free!! I can also give them water or feed them if need be!

Angela was awesome! She responded quickly and gave us a piece of mind while we were out of town. She cared for our Luna great and even noticed changes in behavior and activity and we worked through a plan to get Luna feeling and acting better! Will definitely rebook with Angela if we get the chance to travel again.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Acline. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
