“I'm going to start off by saying I have trust issues when it comes to leaving my dog with someone. I always worry about what could happen. So as a rule he is always by my side. Unfortunately an emergency came up and since I am new to the Cape Coral area I didn't know anyone that could take care of my boy, so I decided to go onto rover.com. There were so many people to choose from within 10 to 15 miles of where i live. That brings us to the second step of this process. I agonized with finding the best possible candidate that i could without breaking the piggy bank. I came across Amber & Matt and I loved the fact that she is a stay at home mom with 2 boys aged 10 & 13. I figured Milo would get plenty of attention. I submitted my request and Amber contacted me within 15 minutes. I asked if it would be possible to do a meet and greet before I committed to the stay. Without skipping a beat she said absolutely. I'm all about first impressions and warm fuzzy feelings so when we met and Milo almost instantly bonded with her 2 boys I knew this was going to be a great choice. I booked the stay and there was no looking back. I can't say enough of good things about Matt, Amber and their 2 boys. I do have to say i was slightly heart broken when i went to pick my boy up after the stay. I seriously don't think he wanted to leave. *****So long story short don't agonize over the decision like me, i did enough of it for everyone. Pull the trigger and YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED***** THEY ARE AWESOME !!!!!”

We were able to use their large crate (same size as we use at home) and just bring Tilly's bed insert. This saved us a lot of trouble and made it very easy for Tilly to go to sleep at night, and when they had to leave the house. “This was my first time to use Rover. I was pretty skeptical that I would find the right person for the long stay needed. HOWEVER, I could NOT have found a better match than Stephanie and her family! From the start, she made the process so easy. I met with her before the drop off and immediately felt at ease, a weight lifted off my shoulders. Knowing my dogs would be left in good care made me feel so much better about leaving my them behind. They had never stayed with anyone nor at an unfamiliar home before this stay. Stephanie kept me updated and sent pics daily. I never worried about how they were doing or felt uncomfortable about them while I was away. After my pick up, I was sure my dogs would be excited to see me after a week of being away. BUT that was not the case, it was as if they were disappointed to be home with me after that stay!! I could tell, my dogs were treated very well and enjoyed the care Stephanie and her family provided my dogs. Although it took awhile for my dogs to come around after being home, it made me happy to know they felt comfortable with Stephanie! I highly recommend Stephanie for any pet services.”

About: The same with dogs, I’ve been around cats and even try to care for strays too. I had a kitten in recent years. Poor little thing had worms, luckily I took him to the vet and recovery was quick and easy. I even looked after a calm senior cat for a an elder couple. I highly recommend Jes for walks or just daily doggie love time - giving cuddles and scratches while playing ball and tug.”

“We had a medical emergency with our daughter who is attending university 3 hours away in the middle of the night. We reached out to Taylor and she was able to care for our three dogs with literally no notice the next morning and the next several days !! To make matters worse our youngest dog got sick and had diarrhea in her crate which Taylor graciously cleaned. Taylor even noticed that the same dog had blood in her urine!! Turned out she had a UTI so Taylor totally saved our baby girl. And if that’s not enough to say how AWESOME Taylor is, she was willing to work our three dogs into her schedule because we had to go back to hospital for my human daughter, but thankfully she was discharged. I cannot say enough great things about Taylor!!”
About: I am a pre-vet graduate. I have had dogs all my life, and I have watched after multiple family members pets. I volunteered at an animal hospital and shelter in Tallahassee. I previously was a middle school science teacher. I am currently unemployed as I have just moved to Dover Delaware.. At the moment, my pet care would take place between 9 A.M and 3:30 P.M Monday through Friday. 7 A.M to 12 P.M on weekends. We were hesitant about leaving our dog with a stranger (we normally board her with our vet), but Tammy gave us a good impression, and we were glad we chose her. She was very polite and professional, and she sent us pictures of our dog relaxing with her kids or going out for a walk, which made us feel more comfortable about leaving our dog for the weekend. We were disappointed to learn that our dog had had some accidents in the house, but Tammy handled it without complaints, was very patient, and never had an unkind word to say about her. About: Ive been around all kinds of animals since before I could walk. Ive owned and trained my dogs all my life and have always been the go to for friends and family to take care of their animals if they were traveling. Im available every day after 3pm and on the weekends Im free when needed I just need a few days notice so I dont have scheduling conflicts. I have a large back yard and one pup of my own hes vocal but friendly as can be. My yard is not fenced but we go on regular walks and jogs. My floors are epoxy so theres no need for worry of stains or messes if youd like your pup to be separate we can arrange something.
