About: Since our cocker spaniel has passed , I started watching and boarding many dogs within my neighborhood. I love animals , so your fur babies will be treated with respect and love !!! They will be in the safest care with me. I’m currently working from home so your furbaby will always have a companion to spend time with while your gone. They will be in good care. About: I only take in one pet (and siblings) at a time. I think it's less traumatic for the pets if there are not other animals around when they are separated from their family. I do everything that I can to make the experience fun and loving. I love both cats and dogs for different reasons. I’ve had pets my entire life until recently. Since most of my pets died of old age, I am experienced with geriatric pets and their special needs as well. I follow your instructions on pet-care. I've watched many dogs and cats in different homes with completely different schedules and rules. I am an early bird so if you have dogs, I like to walk early before it gets too hot. But again, if your dog is used to sleeping in, I can work with his schedule. I do this for fun as well as extra income. I only take up to two pets at a time and they must be siblings. I may take in a third depending on circumstances. Just ask! I am mostly home with the pets. I even have my groceries delivered! I go the gym most mornings for about 1.5 hours. I started pet-sitting to fill the void after my last pet died. I’ve been pet and house sitting professionally around the world since 2016. I board dogs or cats in my home in Port Charlotte. I love to travel and am open to pet sitting in your home anywhere in the world, as long as it's somewhere I'm interested in. I am always interested in Eagle Rock/Glassell Park, CA, as that's where my son lives. I am an early riser so I like to walk the dogs as the sun is rising and then again at dusk. As I grew up in a household loving my dogs, cats, and birds I envisioned working in Africa with chimpanzees. Along the way, I was an outdoor educator for several years working with all sorts of reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, and invertebrates. As a science teacher (8 years), I kept corals and saved many animals in the outdoor environment near our school (from squirrels to birds and much more). My husband and I have just moved from Chicago, IL to Florida. We have a love for adventure and curiosity for the great outdoors. We are happily married with our Cockatiel (Sunny) and Umbrella Cockatoo (Jack). I can't wait to meet you and love your pets for eternity! Along with my elementary education degree, I studied zoology. “Brennan and Elizabeth were so wonderful to work with from the meet and greet until we picked up our dog upon our return. They are friendly, energetic and were quick to respond to our questions.
