About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

At this point, she’s definitely our go-to sitter. ❤️ She handled everything perfectly while we were out of the country—including my husky’s late-summer blowout extravaganza, which means he attempted to shed enough fur while we were gone to construct an entirely new husky. She kept our house clean, followed all of our instructions, and kept the pets on their normal routines. Most importantly, you can genuinely tell that she and her husband care about the animals and their well-being. Being out of the country could have made me nervous about leaving the pets behind, but I honestly didn’t worry about them at all. I knew they were safe, happy, and very well cared for. We came home to happy pets, a clean house, and presumably several fewer huskies’ worth of loose fur. (which she cleaned up for us!) There’s a reason we keep booking her. We’ll absolutely do it again!”

About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles and rodents. I’m attentive to each animal’s unique personality, routine, and needs, and I treat every pet like my own. 🐾❤️ Every day looks a little different depending on each pet’s needs, but my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to keep them happy, comfortable, and cared for. I work remotely online, so I’m home and available throughout the day, with my only set commitment being about an hour at the gym. Outside of that, my time is spent around the pets—feeding, walks, playtime, medications, cuddles, and keeping up with their normal routines. I primarily offer in-home pet sitting so your pets can stay comfortable in the place they know and love, surrounded by their familiar routines and smells. I follow each pet’s individual needs—from meals and walks to medications, playtime, cuddles, and everything in between—and treat every animal like they’re my own. Since I work remotely, I have plenty of flexibility to be home and give your pets lots of love, attention, and companionship while you’re away!

About: I've cared for dogs (small to medium size), cats, ducks, fish, chickens and some birds since in my teens. I've looked after friends, family and neighbors pets for feeding, boarding, day care, walking, play, etc… I am an artist, so I am free to be home all day therefore my availability is Monday through Sunday. My hours are flexible and accommodating to your pets needs. I have a house with a tall fenced yard and 3 dogs that are dog and people friendly. Your pets can play with mine or they can be placed in a separate area. During good weather, I leave the back door open so dogs are free to come in and out of the house. All dogs sleep inside the house together or if requested in a separate room.

“We had a great experience with Lauren. She bravely took on a job no one else seemed to want, which was house-sitting and dog-sitting for two 6 month old puppies who are not yet house-trained. Housebreaking chihuahua puppies is a lot of work. (We're still working on it...), so this job required an extra dose of patience and diligence. Lauren sent us updates and photos of the puppies while we were away. She also kept our large selection of house plants alive, which is another job unto itself. I can't recommend Lauren highly enough, Anyone who gets Lauren to house or dog-sit is very lucky! We hope to hire her again next time we travel. She is trustworthy and responsible, and our pups love her too.”

About: I lived on a small farm growing up and fell in love with animals. I took 4H when I was little putting rabbits in the fair. One thing to know about 4H Rabbits is at the Fair is that they are the tamest rabbit there, because of the time and love we give the rabbits. At the fair we got the opportunity to present the open class rabbits to the judges since we where train to handle them. I also worked with our family dog, (a collie at the time), on training him for 4H. Since them, in my teenage years, I bread and hand raise parkettes. I sold them to people once they where old enough to leave there moms. I know have two dogs I rescued, and a cat. I am always walking my dogs come rain, snow. Or sunshine. If you find yourself unable to walk your dogs because of work or weather, I am more then willing to walk them for you. Just give me a shout! I have three friendly dogs and a cat to keep your dogs, or cat company. I always leash the pets up before we go out for walks or whatever to keep them safe.
