About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.

About: I carry a business insurance policy for petcare. My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

“During my visit to Coeur 'd Alene, we had some activities planned that were not suitable for dogs. I turned to Rover after reading some troubling reviews on the local pet resorts. And I could not be happier that I went this route! After reading several profiles and reviews, I found Carolyn and she was quick to respond to my last minute request, literally the night before we needed a sitter. After sharing a little information back and forth, she agreed to take our girl Shelby for the day. I can't express enough how very blessed and fortunate I was to have found Carolyn. Upon meeting her, and dropping off Shelby the next morning, I felt an instant connection, and she was gracious in sending me updates and pics throughout the day to provide assurance that Shelby was doing fine! We continued to use Carolyn's services for several more days, and each morning when we arrived, Shelby was excited to see her, and to go play with the other dogs in her care. Carolyn provided a good balance of outdoor play and indoor rest to ensure that the dogs didn't get too overheated. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating with drop off and pickup times as well. I will close with saying that Carolyn is an absolute sweetheart, and that I gained a new friend in Coeur 'd Alene! I look forward to using her services when visiting the area again. About: I have years of experience with horses, dogs, and cats. I have always had pets growing up, from small mutts to large high drive German Shepherds (currently have them!). I have knowledge of most breeds and their traits, which I believe helps you understand the pet itself. About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

About: Hello! We are looking to help people out in our free time with pet care. Please note we can only accept small dogs who are good with cats for day care/boarding at this time. Please let us know a few times you are available for a meet and greet before hand to ensure it is a good fit! We have two cats and one dog; and between the two of us have many years of experience with cats, puppies and senior dogs. Audrie also volunteers at the local pet shelter and has gained a but of knowledge in dog training. We will be on time, provide lots of photos while you are away, and be certain to follow your instructions exactly as written. We look forward to meeting you and your pets! Between the two of us, we are very flexible. Our only routine is walking our dog in the morning and evening, and feeding our animals twice per day. We have a fenced backyard, and let our pets go out when they want, but mostly they stay inside. We take our dog on two walks daily. We will follow whatever direction you have. I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!

About: I have owned and loved on numerous dogs my entire life. I can never remember a time when I didn't have a tail waggin', face lickin', life long companion. No special skills here, just a heart that overflows for all dogs. I am a newly retired school district worker. My true passion has always been in taking care of animals. I don't really travel and what a better way to spend my days I have a huge fenced yard and a walking trail right behind my house that I use on a regular basis. About: I carry a business insurance policy for petcare. My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.
About: I will feed and water your pets as needed take them out for lots of walks! Give lots of attention or comfort when they miss you and or cry for you I have a pets that have done that. Take them potty as much as they need I love animals. I am flex so I will work and help animals as much as needed or even do drop byes what ever is needed. i love going outside and walking pets and helping people with there pets cat or dog Ill pay with them clean there cat boxes I do all of that. If they have medicines I'll give it to them. If you have any questions on what you need done and not sure about just message me no problem. About: I have been providing animal care for ten years, mostly with dogs and cats. I am comfortable with all dog breeds and I am genuinely interested in getting to know your pet. About: I’ve been dog sitting and walking for over 5 years now for close family and friends and have multiple family’s pets I care for weekly. I just graduated from EWU with my elementary education degree, I will be dog sitting in babysitting most of the summer and would love to fit you into my schedule. About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I have owned all shapes and sizes. I currently have a whippit-pitbull mix who is my child. If I could adopt every dog in the world I would, until them I will give them love and care while their parents are away. I work full-time during the week, but I am 100% free to stop in on weekend and holidays and walk or love on the dog. My schedule is a little tight Monday through Friday as I have my own baby to get home, but I am happy to stop in after work. I do not offer services in my home as I live with roommates who also have a dog. I am more than willing to do stop in visits in the dogs home.

“We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”
