About: I enjoy spending time caring for animals, especially dogs. I love going on walks, playing, and making sure pets feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away! I’m currently a college student at Central New Mexico Community College, and during this summer I’m taking online classes so I have a much more flexible schedule. About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. About: A little about me: I’ve had a dog by my side every day since I was six years old — dogs are an integral part of my life, not just something I do on the side. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and temperament, from tiny lap dogs to a 90-pound Labrador, and from bouncy puppies to dogs in their older years. Experience: My deepest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs. My Labrador had a series of health challenges, including three separate leg surgeries. I nursed him through every recovery, which meant walking him with a support sling until he was back on his feet. When he was later diagnosed with cancer, I cared for him through hospice at home — giving his daily medications and keeping him comfortable and loved right to the end. So if your older dog needs medication, a little mobility help, or just extra patience and gentleness, that’s something I genuinely know how to do. I’m just as comfortable with high-energy dogs. That same Labrador was a handful in his younger years, so I know what it takes to keep a strong, active dog happy and well-exercised. I also love puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need. I’m happy to walk more than one dog at a time, and I have experience with leash-reactive dogs — I know how to keep walks calm, controlled, and low-stress for a dog who needs a little extra management. Right now I share my home with two girls — a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix and a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier — so both ends of the age spectrum are part of my daily routine. Before them I’ve cared for several terriers and a Border Collie mix, among others. I walk my own dogs every single day and I’ll keep yours on a good routine too. I’ve also dog-sat for family and friends who were thrilled with the care I provided — beyond looking after their dogs, I kept their homes tidy, watered plants, and brought in mail, treating each home with the same respect I’d give my own. Services: I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting: • Dog walking — I keep dogs safely leashed and give them a proper outing with a good sniff, steady exercise, and a potty break, adjusting the length and pace sensibly for the weather. • Drop-in visits — I come to your home to feed, refresh water, handle potty breaks, play, and give plenty of affection, plus tidy up any little messes before I head out. • House sitting — I stay overnight in your home and keep your dog’s whole world running on schedule (feeding, walks, medication, playtime, and steady company) while also looking after your place by keeping it tidy, bringing in the mail, and watering plants. Availability: I work from home and set my own hours, so I’m around for your dog far more than the average sitter — and I can be flexible to fit your schedule. I keep that same consistency and attention for any dog in my care — sticking to your dog's normal feeding, walking, medication, and potty routine so their world stays steady while you're away. I keep all doors and gates closed and latched, and I'm constantly aware of where your dog is — especially any time I'm heading in or out, so there's no chance of an escape. I follow whatever house rules and routines you set. I also treat your home with the same respect I give my own. About: I am a veterinary assistant that has been taking car of pet for at least 9 years. I started pet sitting for my family and neighbors pet. Then I whent to the pound walking and helped in the clinic. Then I became a veterinary assistant to help more animals. I am currently working full time 10 hour shifts with 3 days off a week. So I have 3 days to focus all my time with your pets. I have a full fenced yard. I have 1 lovely dog that is friendly and get along with other dogs. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life—my dad, my grandparents, everyone in my family had them—so caring for pups is second nature to me. I have a great pyrenees of my own who brings endless joy to my days and loves making new friends. At my home, your dog will have plenty of fun and comfort. If your pup needs a kennel when left alone, I have two here so you won’t need to bring your own. About: I have been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had 13 dogs, so caring for them and being surrounded by animals was a significant part of my childhood. As I grew older, so did they, and unfortunately, most have since passed away. After moving to New Mexico three years ago, I quickly realized how much I missed having my furry companions around. I live in a safe, gated home with a large, private, and secure backyard perfect for play and potty breaks, and I am also just a short walk away from downtown parks and pet-friendly spots for our outings.
