“We were looking for a trustworthy, dependable walker for our rambunctious dog and Melissa fits the bill! She seems like a genuinely good person who our dog just adores. It's hard to let a stranger handle your beloved pets. Your friend is in good hands with Melissa! We'll continue to use her for daily walks.”
About: I've had large dogs since I was born and when I was young I remember going outside and feeding them with my mom and giving them treats. Now I have two small dogs I've had for 10 years that I trained myself, they know pretty much every basic command plus some that are more advanced. I also groom them myself such as brushing and bathing. I love walking my dogs and getting out of the house and getting fresh air, it always tires them out so they can sleep throughout the night. I'm available full time since I left Amazon in Feb. I will be able to give dogs or cats my full attention all day and night. I can take them out for walks or even give them outdoor time in my yard. I'm new to pet sitting in-home but I'm sure I'll learn along the way. I have a fenced yard they can play in and a park is close by to play at. I don't crate my pets but I can crate yours if needed.
About: I’m a biggg animal lover, a vegan of 10 years, former animal shelter worker & doggy foster mom🤍 a few years ago, I rescued my dog, Blue. Working with trainers for my own dog has deepened my commitment to positive reinforcement and understanding each dog’s unique needs. I’m a full-time registered nurse, so I’m confident administering medications and managing special care routines. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes—from tiny companions to giant breeds—and I take the time to learn each dog’s quirks, preferences, and sensitivities to make sure they feel safe, happy, and understood. I live in an apartment with plenty of outdoor time, including long walks and play sessions, and I’m happy to help with feeding, training, and care. I currently only work 3 days a week, so I’m usually free the rest of my days off. I’m pretty flexible on scheduling things if you have any last minute needs. I work night shift, so if your dog is fine being left alone overnight let me know and I can board longer than my listed days! I have a pet cam to keep an eye on them overnight. Dog walking/drop-ins: I can come to your home, feed your pup breakfast/dinner, take them out for a quick potty break, play time, or go on a super long walk to tire them out! I’d love to know your dog’s routine, likes/dislikes, an level of energy! Doggy day care: Your dog can hang with me & mine for the day! Guaranteed fun times, cuddles, walks! I love making my space a welcoming & calm environment. I consider myself active, so if your dog is up for adventures/hikes, let me know! Your dog must be house trained & friendly with other dogs. Boarding: If your dog is being boarded with me, they’ll need to be friendly with other dogs, including my playful pup and occasionally my roommate’s small Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix. They also must be dropped off with a crate. I want to make sure they are safe & happy!

“My doggie is a shiba inu (his name is Hawk) who is very particular and has quite the personality. He does not allow people he doesn't know get to close to him or pet him. Usually it will take weeks for Hawk to warm up to someone. But with Juan he warmed up to him after the first walk AND he let's him pet him. And I thinks that's great and a testament of his treatment to the doggies.”

About: I have owned diabetic dogs and one with epilepsy. Friends and coworkers always ask me to watch their furbabies because they know how good my husband and I are with our own. They trust us and coming from someone who rarely traveled and when I did I took them with me because I don't trust others would take care of them like I do. I understand the anxiety that comes with having to leave them behind for whatever reason. Knowing they will be loved and have fun makes it that much easier for both you and your pet. Safety and security are also most important to us so rest assured they will be okay. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband's business is from home so we are both always here. We never leave for more that 3 hours due to our 2 dogs. I have a fenced yard with lots of room to run around. My brother also lives across from me and has over an acre of running room as well if needed. My husband and I work from home and are always available. We used to have dogs with medical issues and couldn't really leave them with anyone. My husband and I love animals and know how hard it is to leave them anywhere. Even at petsmart hotel they stay inside a small area and the play area isn't that big. We work from home and are never away longer than 4 hours. We have a 2 year old who is really good with the dogs as well but Rest assured we never let her play with them unattended. We have a large yard for dogs and know that they will be taken care of and loved while visiting us. All pets need love and attention. Even pet hotels leave them alone overnight and the thought of them having to hold it or use it in their space to feel ashamed is aweful. With us you get peace of mind and that's priceless In my home they will be treated like our own. They can play outside as long as they want. They scratch on the door ahead. They want in or out. They sleep inside on our bed with us of course. We want them to sleep wherever they feel comfortable. My dog buddy sleeps in his cage when he stays with others because he feels safe there so we understand everyone is different.
“Opal was absolutely amazing with Margot! Great communication with us and Margot loved them so much. I would absolutely recommend Opal and would rebook if I was staying in the KC area.”

About: !!!!BOOKED OUT FOR HOUSE SITTING SERVICES UNTIL JULY 13 2025!!! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, quite literally. I had 13 childhood dogs, as I grew up they grew older with me and unfortunately most passed away. Since moving to New Mexico 3 years ago I found myself on a dilema, I miss my fluffy friends. I chose to provide services for rover and through the years I’ve gotten to take care of many different breeds, small dogs, big dogs, puppies, and senior dogs and it has probably been one of the best decisions I’ve ever taken. I’ve realize that the old saying of “a dog is a man’s best friend” is 100% real. A couple months ago I started co-parenting a mini schnauzer with my sister and it has made me realize how much I enjoy being around these fluffy friends, spending time with them, and entertaining them. These beautiful creatures provide unconditional love and affection. For us our pets are just a chapter in our life, but from them we are the whole book ❤️ and as a sitter I’m here to provide help and shadow your routine for the times you have to be away from them, providing them a big amount of time, love, comfort, and joy! I became a certified trainer 4 years ago. Im mainly a homebody, while I do go to school from Monday- Thursday I spend around 16-20 hours of the day at home guaranteed! While I do work from home, I have a small part time job that requires me to be away from home 4-5 hours a day only in the weekends Im a dependable and trustworthy sitter! As I shadow your routine and follow your schedule, I get to cherish your pet, play with them, take them on walks, make them feel comfortable and loved.
About: Hi! I’ve worked in professional pet care for over 14 years through Petco and PetSmart, where I gained extensive hands-on experience working with both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’ve completed multiple courses focused on dog behavior, handling, and training techniques. I’m especially comfortable with energetic dogs, shy or anxious pets, puppies, senior pets, and multi-pet households. I also have experience caring for cats with different personalities and needs, including timid cats, high-energy cats, seniors, and cats that may need extra patience and attention while their owners are away. Safety, patience, and communication are extremely important to me. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure owners feel updated and comfortable while their pets are in my care. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, overnight care, feeding, playtime, or just extra attention while you’re away, I’d love to help! I just moved to Albuquerque from Austin Texas and I am currently looking for jobs right now so I am available anytime for your pets needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone in both your home and with your pets. I care for my own senior cat with patience, consistency, and close attention to comfort and routine, and I bring that same level of care to every pet I watch. I believe pets feel safest when their normal routine is respected, so I always take the time to learn their preferences, personalities, and needs. Whether that means playtime, quiet companionship, medication, feeding schedules, or simply giving them space to feel comfortable, I treat every animal with kindness and respect. My goal is to make your pets feel secure and cared for while giving you peace of mind that your home and animals are being looked after responsibly and compassionately.
