About: Now serving the greater Albuquerque Area! To all of my Utah clients, I miss your pups 💜 I moved to Albuquerque in September 2023. When I moved to Utah, by myself, in January 2023, I got lonely and craved animal connection, so I began with Rover. It has been such a great thing in my life. I hope to continue my services in New Mexico. I now have 2 pups of my own, but my partner cares for them when I am sitting. I will never bring them to a sit unless prior meeting and permission of the owners. Bloopers and Scub are young, big, lover boys with a lot of energy. They LOVE other dogs. Sophie, my senior pup, had to be put down before I moved to Utah. I cared for her heart and kidney failure for 3 years. I am experienced with senior pups and can handle all the way down to puppies, too. I love cats. I am also a trained bird handler. I have pet sit for my professors and coworkers before, from hunting lab puppies to senior Maltese. Since moving to Utah at the beginning of the year, I have house sat, done drop-ins, and walks. I have house sat for all kinds of pups from labs to yorkies, goldendoodles to bulldogs. I work a very flexible full-time, telework option, job. I can check/walk in morning, lunch, dinner and through the night if needed. Week days and weekends. I have extensive experience giving pets drugs and other heath needs. I can do any form of exercise or travel needed. I will always double check doors are locked and secured.

About: My hands-on experience with all kinds of pets means your pet gets personalized care tailored to their needs! I've spent the last five years learning each animal's unique needs and quirks. I am currently on break from school for the summer so I have all the time in the world to care and play with pets! When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I follow their routines closely. I make sure to provide fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and playtime, and, of course, lots of love and attention! I also handle any necessary clean-up and make sure to leave the house just as I found it.

About: I've cared for pets since I was 8. Grew up with fish, cats, dogs, and some reptiles. I had a neighbor who had horses and a goose, and I'd help with them as well. I've cared for old and young animals, at the same time. I am not afraid of snakes or rats. I have a very limited sense of smell, so general animal odors aren't a problem for me. I work part time as of now, and have plenty of time to look after animals. My work shifts are on Wednesdays and Fridays and span from 8am-2pm, so I have plenty of availability. I will go to classes in the fall, and will update when I have that schedule. I have a fenced in yard that my two dogs love. There is a small pond, local birds love to play in it. Sometimes our neighbor's cats come over and sunbathe in the soil. I have plenty of toys for the dogs, and am very affectionate with animals, but if an animal is nervous because I'm new to them, not to worry, I will give them space and time to adjust. Strangers are scary, and they have every right to be skeptical.

About: I've had my own dog for 12 years, and caring for him taught me so much about responsibility, patience, and the deep bond between people and their pets. Alongside that, I’ve helped friends, and family by walking, feeding, and bathing their pets when they've needed it. I truly love dogs, from playful puppies to gentle seniors and I always do my best to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for like they’re my own. I’m a full-time college student, but I always still manage to fit pet care into my life. I’m mostly available on weekends and during late afternoons on the weekdays. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and it gives me a meaningful break from school. Your pup will get my full attention and care when they’re with me! I have a brick fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and get fresh air. My own dog is friendly and loves having company. Inside, pets are always comfortable and supervised. I let them out for potty breaks, play with them regularly, and can also take them for walks. I’m happy to crate your dog if needed and follow any specific routines you provide.

“Maya is a wonderful walker. She has trained my 60lb dog not to pull as much as she used to. She can give her an order and she understands her, quite a change from the beginning. I will use her again for walking and maybe for an overnight. I hope I can get her again. I would give Maya a 10 star if they had that... wonderful company she”

Rachel C.Star Sitter
“I've known Rachel for many years and every time I need to go out of town or need her to go over during the day and check on kittens she is always there exactly when she says she's going to be she takes excellent care of my cats and my dogs. I'm so blessed to have such a responsible person in my life that I can trust with my animals when I go out of town. When I come home everyone has been taking care of everybody is happy and they always have fresh food and water she takes my dogs on walks so they get some exercise and she spends time loving on all my animals not just feeding them which is very important to me. My animals are like my family and there is nothing I wouldn't do for them and it's hard to find someone as responsible and caring as Rachel is that I know I can depend on. I never have to worry about them she always calls me and gives me updates and goes the extra mile to make sure that everyone is taken care of and is also getting lots of love and affection. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my animals it's hard to find someone that is so hard working and that cares for Animals as much as I do. She understands how important my animals are to my family and she always is there and available when I need her which is also a very important quality.”
