He said hi to me, but then was soon snoring loudly. One quick note: given my dog is a largely indoor dog (we do not have a backyard), I did have to clean him off a bit once we got home. But I can tell overall he had a great time!”

Patricia was willing to follow the schedule I provided, and mix my dog's kibble with chicken and rice to finish weaning her back to pure kibble. My dogs get along with Patricia's small dog, Sophie, and enjoy their surroundings during their stay (Patricia has a beautiful patio and spends time with them outside). About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

She provided daily updates/pics of my boy, and I loved how he had friends while he stayed by her so he got a little bit of socialization with the other dogs (they had a time). Due to circumstances beyond my control, I missed a connecting flight and came in later than expected. She kept my boy for a few extra hours and really helped me out. Will definitely be booking again in the near future!”

About: From birth I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats, and many creatures in between. My dad trained dogs and horses (no such thing as cat training…. If you know, you know) and taught me all he knows. I have fostered and trained puppies and currently have 2 cats of my own who are great with dogs. I am a travel nurse and don’t think the long shifts would be fair to have a dog of my own, otherwise I would! I had to remove all of my bengal’s teeth after an emergency and had to fight a newly adopted bengal to give him his antibiotics and pain meds in forms of pills and drops. I have lived through many animals’s passing from old age so am well versed in senior cares as well. Through my career and life experiences no emergency is too big for me. Your pets activity level will become mine- young or old hearted I am here to hang! I got cats so I could go away for weekends and still hire folks on Rover to come give them love on trips they can’t come cause I feel too bad otherwise. Pets are our babies and alike to humans all have their own personalities. I am super excited to get to know yours and thank you for trusting me with your family members :) I work 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am 3 days a week, but my partner works from home so there is always someone to give them love. Off days are spent in the mountains on trails or relaxing around the house. I have a large backyard and 2 cats who are missing a dog to play with or rooms they can safely relax in if your furry friend is not other-pet friendly. I come home to go on a walk and wake up in time to drink some coffee and enjoy some hours before work. I have a high fenced yard. I like to keep the routine the same as their normal, so will rely on your directions on when to feed, exercise, and wind down if there are any specifics. Multiple walks a day during the cooler hours is my favorite way to exercise, and if your pup is social enjoy a good social outing to the local dog park. I like to fish up in the mountains so picnics and splashes in some mountain water is always a dog approved activity in my experience

“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! Growing up, my family had 13 dogs, so caring for them and being surrounded by animals was a significant part of my childhood. As I grew older, so did they, and unfortunately, most have since passed away. After moving to New Mexico three years ago, I quickly realized how much I missed having my furry companions around. About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been managing 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, and their body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies, kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. Please note that my rates are a starting rate, and if you are more than 6 miles from me, I may charge a travel fee to compensate for gas and wear and tear on my vehicle. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs and have plenty of experience taking care of both! From taking walks, feeding, bathing and light grooming, I am no stranger to the nitty gritty! Especially when it comes to paying close attention and giving proper care to each pet! Currently I have a 3 legged cat named Frodo who enjoys going on trail walks and hikes. So I’m definitely open to unconventional and adaptive approaches to exercise/feeding/grooming! I hope to lend a hand in caring for your fluffy friend! Using a leash on walks, going to fenced in spaces to play and making sure theres water ready and available during these times :) Making accommodations for each pet is important to me!
About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)
About: Hi, I’m Taylor! I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages for family and friends over the years. I currently have a six year old cat that requires special care and attention, and I regularly take care of her senior cousin who requires daily shots. I am currently working on going back to school, so my schedule is pretty open right now to provide care for your little one. :) In my client’s home, I connect with the client to learn their routine. About: I have raised dogs, cats and a variety of other animals my whole life. From fostering, to baby sitting to raising pets of my own, I have always loved animals and caring for them. I currently have 3 dogs (ages 3,3 and 5) and 2 cats, one being a senior (ages 10, and 2). I’ve adopted all of my animals from shelters or friends, adopted them at a variety of ages and one of my dogs is disabled (born with only one eye). I am proud to say that I have done my absolute best to give them the proper care and love and attention they deserve, and I think they have been all very happy and well cared for! I am a before and after school instructor, as well as a university student, so I am free in most afternoons. I can do early morning and afternoons before 3pm. I have a large fenced yard that my dogs play in every day. I feed them every morning and afternoon, visit them daily and have them sleep inside every night. My family is very loving towards our animals, and I have never had issues with my pets showing signs of stress or unhappiness. I treat them with the love and kindness I treat everyone, and have raised both from adoption, two since they were a puppy (they are now 3) and one since he was about 1 year old (he is now 5).
About: I’ve been taking care of family dogs my entire life! Love being the dog sitter I could only imagine how cool it would be to do it for a job?! I constantly take my dogs to the park! Presently I am able to provides services at your home only ( except for very young puppies and kittens who can stay with me if needed) -in your home I’m most familiar with cats and dogs. I am glad to keep your pets environment fresh during visits including waste clean up, hair brush or deshedding with your tools, refresh food, water bowls as needed. I will have non-toxic cleaners for hard surfaces if needed.
