Wendy was phenomenal! We really appreciated that she reached out to ask questions & made sure she was doing everything she could for our cat, Macy. Our girl is in her golden years and finding someone who works in the vet industry provided us a lot of reassurance! 10/10 would recommend

Darlene was awesome. She sent pics and videos, and short messages several times a day telling me how my babies were doing and what they happened to be up to. She seemed to truly enjoy caring for my animals and celebrating every achievement. As a rescuer for over 30 years, I have special babies that need a little extra TLC, and I could tell she knew her way around not so easy animals and managed to win them over almost immediately. We never go away, but the likelihood of a repeat vacation has increased knowing that Darlene will be around to help. Darlene stayed at our house for a week and cared for our dog, cats, hermit crabs, birds, and fish. And she even volunteered to feed the wandering neighborhood cats and wildlife! Also, I’ve never had a Petsitter who left my house as she found it or better. Returning is hard when you have to do major cleaning after you get home, but that was not the case with Darlene. Thank you Darlene! Please stick around the area so we can call on you again ?

Xxena was also given a little jacket for when the weather got cold for their morning walk and I couldn't be any more appreciative and Xxena was happy to have the company of Theo and the little one. Also left our place tidy and well taken care of :). Thank you SO much, Theo!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was in middle school. I have been a pet sitter for many people for a few years now (usually cats and dogs) but I am open to other animals. I have two cats of my own who I love with all my heart! I am trying to build my portfolio to eventually work in the veterinary field. I am currently taking a break from college but will be restarting this spring. Untill I start school again I am available most days. I will update my availability when it changes. I follow care instructions to a t. I love playing with animals and some good lap time. I can do pretty much anything whether an animal has special needs/ care instructions. And am open to taking care of other kinds of animals besides dogs.

About: Clients often tell me their pets feel truly cared for by me, like an extension of themselves, because I offer the same love, attention, and intention they give their pets. I work and go to grad school remotely, so I have tons of time to attend to, play with, and love your sweet pets throughout the day. I organize my schedule around you and your pet's needs once you have booked a sitting with me. I live in a tiny house (on the larger side) on a large fenced piece of property. I can give your pup as much indoor/outdoor time as requested.

Aidan is amazing! Our 2 dogs and 1 cat had a blast (tons of pics). Not only did our pets take to him right away, but he was great about giving our older boy the meds he needs during the day! He kept our house incredibly clean and communicated with us the entire time. We hope he will help us out again in the future. Aiden, if you’re reading this, we want you to come back!

We were pleased with Kiernan's care of our dog in our home. She followed our instructions, left our home in great shape, and even laundered her sheets and remade the bed. She took our dog on two walks per day, as we requested, in spite of rain and windy weather. She stayed in contact with us, sending photos and notes on Chiqui. We appreciated the great job she did, and we would hire Kiernan and Jay again.

About: Among my friends, I am well known for my love for pets - as well as for volunteering for animal-care organizations. I’ve been caring for pets for years - both professionally and for friends and fellow travelers. I’ve completed numerous house and pet sits through another website (with all 5-star reviews) and have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, and fish. I fostered for a German Shepherd rescue in the past (GSRNC). Now, I do dog sitting occasionally for these dogs. I am able to handle 80+lbs dogs, dog reactivity, etc. I’m also comfortable with administering medications, working with separation anxiety, and caring for both seniors and puppies. I adore all kind of pets since I was a child, and cannot have one due to a lot of travelling and moving around. So very much excited about this opportunity to interact with someone furry! I am currently in between the jobs and since I have a lot of free time now - my schedule is pretty flexible. I also travel a lot these days but always happy to provide the service when I am in the area! I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Safety and comfort are my top priorities—both for your pets and your space. I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. I keep pets engaged with walks, playtime, cuddles, and quiet companionship, depending on their needs and energy level. In the home, I’m tidy, respectful, and mindful of privacy and boundaries. I send regular updates with photos and notes so you can relax knowing your pets and house are in good hands.

About: Throughout my life I’ve had 2 dogs, 7 cats, and I currently live with 3 cats. I don’t have a preference between cats and dogs, I love them equally! I don’t work a regular job so my schedule is almost always open for pet sitting. I’m free to house sit, dog walk, whenever you need me. I keep my cats indoors, give fresh water every day in their cat fountain. I feed every morning and every night on a consistent schedule, a mix of kibble and wet food.

Mount Hood Village pet parents share their Rover experiences

Meghan was superb, from the beginning when she waked in the door of my house to meet Odie(90lb lab mix) to the time she departed making shire he was adequately fed and watered are the basics of course but she played, stayed and went above and beyond when any instruction I left. She took him on long walks multiple times during days and evenings, embraced him as her own and sent pictures and messages depicting all the great times they had together in my absence she will. E asked back without a doubt and I highly recommend Meghan to watch, walk, sit and entertain any pet that might be in need of those services she takes so seriously, her heart is clearly in it all the way!
