We felt very comfortable leaving them for two weeks and never had to worry whether they were being well taken care of. Erich and Sarah also did a great job taking care of our home. We came home to a perfectly clean home, which was so nice after a long time away. Even our neighbors commented on how nice of a job they did taking care of things while we were away! I enjoy meeting new breeds and making sure their needs are taken care of while their parents (you) are away. As dog mom of 5 loving and rambunctious breeds I can personally say your pup will feel right at home ❤️ I have five dogs of my own therefore I make sure that their needs are taken care of before mine are. With as much play time as I can give. First thing first I let the dogs out to play and go use the potty. Then I give them food if it’s time to eat. And of course we go out to play after.

“Amaya saved our vacation! We booked her 4 days before leaving for thanksgiving (because our previous sitter cancelled last minute). She watched our 4 large dogs for a week and did an excellent job! She even had to give one of them a bath because she got dirty. Our Bernese Mountain Dog is really shy around people she doesn’t know and immediately let Amaya pet her!! That has never happened before! Amaya sent us pictures and communicated throughout our trip. I would 100% recommend her. She also took excellent care of our house.”

About: Hello! My name is Felisha, but I like to go by Fay. I'm a lifelong animal lover and have cared for dogs of all sizes for most of my life. I currently have a senior (14-year-old) chocolate lab—my favorite old lady and retired adventure buddy. We used to spend a lot of time backpacking together, but these days it's all about car rides for pup cups! I also have a 5-year-old, high-energy blue heeler, so I have plenty of experience with fetch and keeping active dogs happy. I especially love large breeds—we were lucky to have 10 wonderful years with the sweetest mastiff, and we miss him dearly. While I have less experience with cats, I still love them and feel comfortable around them. I also have experience with farm animals, particularly horses. I'm based in the Sandy area but am happy to provide pet care in surrounding areas. I'd love to connect with you and your pets! I recently completed graduate school and wrapped up my teaching assistant duties at Portland State, so my schedule is currently wide open to care for your pets as I transition into a new job in the area. I plan to continue offering pet care even after I begin working, because spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy. My husband and I currently live in a tiny home on land where our dogs are able to run around freely. However, our last home was close to road and was fenced to protect our dogs. We currently live near a creek and go on family walks together frequently. Our senior dog requires more care and frequent potty breaks. About: Since I was a kid, I've loved animals. I have taken care of animals for family and friends from a very young age, and I have always lived with a dog and/or cat in my home. I am dependable, responsive, and excited to meet any new furry friends. With a degree in environmental science and a career with the US Forest Service, I have worked with a variety of animals and have even taken some courses on animal behavior. I will approach your pet with patience, love, and experience. I typically work a normal Monday thru Friday schedule, with some flexibility. Working right here in Zigzag, it is easy for me to break away to check in with your pets or take them on a quick walk during the day! I am free during evenings and weekends. About: I have years worth of experience working with animals, including dogs, cats, horses and chickens. For the past 5 years, I have been working at different dog daycare/boarding facilities.
