“Rebecca was amazing. She was flexible when we were running late for the drop off. She was very communicative. The facility was very clean. She also provided us with pictures of our happy dog hanging out. This went a long way toward leaving our dog with someone new.”

“Cali just loves Gary and Carol. Her visits are always great. If you need any dog care I highly recommend them. I never have to worry when she is in there care.”

“Kristopher and his family did a wonderful job oc caring for Mochi. They are experienced and took time to learn about her specific needs prior to care. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing someone to take care of their fur baby and would use them again should the need arise. 5/5!”

“Love love love it all that they provided to our Tofu❤️Absolutely recommend Linda and her family hosting your fur babies. Our Tofu spent his best two weeks at their place with lots of walks, treats, and even baths when needed. They asked many questions before hand to get to know Tofu and arranged a visit as well. It was such a relief for us during our international trip where we had no access to text messages and major social media. However, Linda still offered to contact us via WhatsApp in order to send daily updates.”

“Hanlan went above and beyond what I expecting! We left our pug with her for 5 days and she was always sending cute pictures from his day. She took him on long walks, and the dog park multiple days. We really felt Bubz was left in amazing care, and would choose her again next time we go out of town!”

“Nadine took SUCH good care of my pups! They loved their time with her. The backyard is amazing… so much room to roam. And her pets got along so well with mine. Lots of communication and photos. It was so nice to know my babies were being loved on so much while I was away. I’d definitely recommend Nadine!!!!”

“Peggie was so great with our Charlie! Our daughter has a very hard time being separated from her, but Peggie did a great job at keeping in contact and making sure we knew Charlie was happy and healthy. It was a huge relief to have her in such good hands when we couldn't take her with us on our trip.”

“Louise was great. This was our first experience ever leaving our one year old Morkie. Louise was great about sending pictures and updates throughout the day to let us know how she was doing. As soon as we knew Chloe was relaxed, we could all relax and have fun. Her dogs are great too (very docile) and very welcoming to other dogs and people. We'll definitely ask Louise to watch her again!”

“I am so happy with Cassandra and Trevor. The thought of leaving my pups with someone I don't know was horrifying but they made the process seamless. From a meet and greet to sending pictures daily, I felt confident my girls were in a loving home being taken care of well.”

“Anastasia is awesome!! We were nervous to leave our puppy overnight for the first time, but we knew she was in great hands. Anastasia was super easy to communicate with, and gave us lots of updates. Even when our puppy decided to refuse to use her crate while there, Anastasia just went with it and was able to accommodate. We were so excited to pick our puppy up but she honestly seems sad she had to leave, which I know means she had a blast. We are so appreciative of our puppy having a loving second home while we are away.”

“I could not have asked for a kinder or more reliable individual to watch my senior dog! Leslie has watched my dog numerous times now, and I won't use anyone else. Leslie has a wonderful single story house with a great flat fenced yard! I had to leave my old pup for a whole week and Leslie spent so much time with him, so much love and many cuddles. My dog really did not want to come home after his vacation with Leslie., he even had more pep to his step. Leslie sent pictures and was very clear with communication. I really cannot stress enough how wonderful Leslie and her amazing lab were with my dog Levi! Thank you again and we will definitely use her services again!”

“Amanda and her family were fantastic. We were confident to leave our dog and was able to enjoy our trip fully without worrying about our furry member of family. She sent me photos and updates daily. Thanks again!”

“Dave did an excellent job with our Blue Heeler. He has a nice big yard for dogs to roam and play, and was a great communicator throughout the whole experience. We would definitely have our buddy stay with Dave again.”

“She did a great job with our Goldendoodle Daisy. She kept us updated with daily postings and pictures, and Daisy seemed to really enjoy her time with Becky. Would definintely use again!”

“Melodie was wonderful with our Max. Max has anxiety and is also a senior and she took him in as a urgent request while we were on vacation as he wasn't doing well at a family members apartment. She provided pictures which put our minds at ease that we were able to find a good place. When we picked him up it was nice to see she had gates on her front porch entry as he is prone to bolt. Thank you Melodie! As I said, we will put Max into your care again..?”

“I cannot recommend Daun enough! She was absolutely amazing with my kitties. Not only did she give them plenty of love and playtime, but she also followed every little note and instruction I left (and I’ll admit, I’m a bit of an overprotective, anxious cat mom 🙈). It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring, attentive hands. She truly went above and beyond, and I came home to happy, relaxed cats. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“We have a senior cat that is 13 years old and is on medication…she is truly family, a purrfect companion and so well-loved. Caitlyn was highly recommended to us thru referral. We are typically very protective over our kitty especially with her tender stages; but upon meet and greet session with Cailyn we soon became at ease. She was professional, prompt/punctual, responsive, also had warm people and effective communication skills which were important to us. Our kitty who typically runs and hides with those unfamiliar; was extremely cautious during Cailyn’s initial visit but yet stayed present in the room with curiosity (again she usually bolts/hides with strangers so surprising). During our 4 day vacation out of town Cailyn took great care of her even checking up on her twice daily to make sure her food and water bowls were refreshed; kitty litter changed, keep her company and to ensure she received her kitty medications on time. She followed all my specific instructions and requests to a T. Although we were several states away on vacation we had great accesses to oneanother even with nice photo updates of our pet she would send us. We would highly recommend Cailyn for those looking for an extremely responsible, reliable, pleasant and purrfect caregiver for your pets. You’ll as well as your furry companions will be in great hands with Cailyn.”
“This was my first time using Rover for pet sitting. Emily was easy to communicate with and responsive, came the times I booked her for, and took good care of my girl Scarlet for two days. I would book her again if visiting this area in the future and recommend her services.”
“Megan is The Best. She did two drop-in visits per day for our two cats for a week. She took great care of the cats in our house. We will definitely use her again in the future. And she is knowledgeable of Verona’s practice and observant and let us when things didn’t look right which I appreciate.”

About: I was Blessed with a Tortoiseshell cat for 15 years named Penelope Rose. Pets truly help us through the hardest times of our lives and we help them in return. They do find us, for sure. She was developed cat asthma (rare) and medication was not helping her so I put her down and that was my last pet years ago. I grew up having a grey Siamese cat. Both cats followed me everywhere. Every cat I meet has a unique personality that I love getting to know each and every one. Cats make me feel very calm & relaxed and I feel I have that same effect on them as well. I like the idea of sometime developing a cat toy line because I used to make so many homemade, safe ones when I was growing up. I understand Dogs & Cats and they seem to get me too. I used to foster a 3-legged handi-capable cat and an amazing 1-eyed cat (who is older than 20 years and is now blind). She keeps on going that sweet girl! Shes got a great will to live. I’m familiar with wound-care and post-vet care. I’m in tune with cats and understand calming techniques to make their environment pleasant & comfortable.
“Shayla is amazing and awesome, first time leaving my lil dude with any but family and she is now part of the family! She sent me videos of my lil dude, made sure he was loved & played with, and she made sure that he good to go until I came home. Highly recommend Shayla to take care of your furry kids!! Thank you Shayla for taking care of my lil dude!”

“Rebecca responded quickly to all of our questions and was patient. We had never put our dog Izzie in a kennel before. The photos of their facilities gave a good sense of what the dogs were provided with inside and outside, and photos of Izzie Rebecca sent to us on the days Rebecca was caring for Izzie were fun and reassuring. Lastly, their roaming farm animals were a delight. We will kennel our dog with Rebecca whenever we are in this part of the Columbia Gorge.”

“Melba stayed here while we went to a show at the Edgefield Amphitheater. Gary and Carol had no problem with our late pick up, and they sent updates and pictures. Everything was easy and smooth. We wouldn't hesitate to have Gary and Carol dogsit again if we come back to this area!”

“From the beginning, very responsive and helpful! They were able to handle my high anxiety dog and didn’t get annoyed by the overly long explanation I had about his dogality. Followed up with pictures and updates and my dogs had a blast! Highly recommend Cass and Trevor for dog sitting.”

“Shasta and her family are very loving and caring, we truly trust her completely. Our dog Gus gets so excited about having a stay it make leaving him a boy easier knowing he just runs right into the house out of excitement!”

“Finding the right fit for taking care of my two older chihuahuas was very stressful, until I came across Julie and Barry. Firstly, my huge requirement was that they had no dogs of their own and secondly, that they would only have one client at a time. That is not super easy to find. And not only do they fulfill both of those requirements, but it is two people instead of one, so it's an incredible amount of care and attention that is given to any animal that they might care for. One of my pups has some pretty major anxiety and Julie knew just what to do with her. She turns on her heating pad and cuddles up on the couch with her, and I can tell that they are very loved while there. And though I know my pups don't like being away from me, they very obviously feel safe and comfortable with both Julie and Barry. They also have a wonderful place for the dogs to be when outside. Our pups are going to board with them soon and we feel 100% comfortable with it, and excited that we have found Julie and Barry. Besides taking great care of the pups, they are lovely people and we have enjoyed getting to know them.”

“Anastasia allowed me to relax with my husband for a day without needing to meet all of Remy's needs. This was our first stay with Anastasia, but she offered a Meet and Greet initially that put my mind at ease with regard to her family of pets, the conditions of her yard, and her willingness to answer my questions and needs. She did a great job safeguarding Remy during his day's stay, she sent me photos and an update on how he was settling in, which I greatly appreciated. I'll definitely re-book Anastasia for Remy's pet-sitting needs in the future.”

“I think my dog is happier there than with me. Nice to know he’s with his friends, having fun and can come home tired after my work. Lovely people and very reliable. I’m grateful”

“Emma and Kenzie are the sweetest and take such good care of my fur baby! He is a highly anxious, energetic Aussie and can have difficulty meeting new people. However, after a few minutes Sage felt right at home and now doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day. They send you pictures and updates at the end of the day and are very flexible. Highly recommend! Bonus, your dog will come home clean!! :)”

“Charlene has been hands-down, the BEST dog sitter we’ve ever had. The amount of love, care, fun, and exercise she gave our dog, Ginkgo, was truly exceptional. I’m someone who loves pictures and updates, and Charlene provided beautiful pictures and updates without prompting during Ginkgo’s 4 day stay. He got to go on runs, long hikes, and even got a pup cup with her daughter. He came home each day absolutely exhausted, which was amazing for my husband after working long days. We are so grateful we found Charlene!”

“Wow what a great dog sitter! She took ths time to explain how she introduces a new dog to the mix. She sent a ton of photos and gave me details throughout the day. My little pup had a blast! Thanks so much!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. Whether it’s structured walks, reinforcing good manners, or providing a calm and loving presence, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, feeding and playtime, or extra TLC for pets recovering from surgery, I tailor my services to fit both routine and special care requirements. My experience with dogs, cats, and even horses means I’m comfortable handling a variety of schedules—from structured training sessions to free-spirited outdoor adventures. No matter the time of day, I ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my clients’ homes. At my home, we have a fully fenced yard, providing a secure and spacious area for dogs to play and explore. Your pup will also have built-in companionship with our two friendly dogs, ensuring plenty of socialization and fun. For exercise and enrichment, we have scenic trails nearby, perfect for peaceful walks in the woods—giving dogs a chance to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I respect each pet’s unique routine and environment, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether it’s reinforcing training, maintaining feeding schedules, or ensuring a calm presence while you're away, I treat every pet like they’re my own. No matter the setting, I focus on creating a safe, stress-free, and enriching experience for pets—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands.

My hope for everyone is to find responsibility and companionship in pet ownership as I have. I'd be honored to be included in that journey with you and your dog/cat! While I do have a full time job as an in home caregiver of a disabled individual, my schedule can also be fairly flexible in the daytime hours and on the weekends. Please feel free to reach out, and I will do my best to accommodate your furry friend's needs. I'm willing to adapt to what the owner prefers. When I'm at home, I am always on the lookout for what my pet needs or wants. So, I am used to meeting the need of furry friends.

About: While growing up I have always had a dog in the home. I’m a huge dog lover and don’t know what I would do if I did not have a dog in my life. I remember when my parents let me chose our next dog when I was young. I chose a sheltie and named him Arrow. The reason for the name Arrow was when I went to pick him up I noticed in his fur on the back of his head was an arrow. I loved taking care of Arrow and we had a special bond! I loved taking him on walks and he loved chasing me around the house. When I turned 15 I started to take care of one of my neighbors cats and fish when they went on vacations. After completing one summer, I started taking care of their cats and fish for the next eight years before I moved out. Once the rest of my neighbors found out I was known in the neighborhood for taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats when they were on vacations! I have also taken care of many of my coworkers cats and dogs as well. So rest assured your pet will be in good hands while you are on vacation. It will be one less stress to worry about. I currently work full time, however work three 12 hours shifts. I’m currently off Friday-Monday. So I’m available for the weekends, so perfect for anyone wanting to do a weekend getaway! I do work graveyard so I’m available anytime after 2pm on Fridays. However, if you need to drop of earlier just communicate so I can plan ahead. My girlfriend and I live in a townhouse. I don’t have a fenced backyard. However, have a small backyard that is used for potty breaks. It does have a small area of grass turf (fake grass). The good news we live in Fairview in the Fairview Terrace community. We have a very large area for dogs. So your dog will have lots of playtime in the grassy area. Also, the neighborhood is perfect for walking your dog as well. The community is fenced and a gated community as well. Our community is very dog friendly and many pet owners. We also have a micro mini Golden doodle. So your dog will have a playmate as well. We can also send photos of your pet to you while on vacation to help with the separation. I know when I go on vacation I have a hard time leaving my fur baby behind. For me, getting photos of my fur baby made the vacation a little easier!
About: See my $20 Off QR Code in my photos! I love being around animals and have been around them my whole life. I grew up in generations of animal & nature-lovers. It’s a gift to be able to connect with animals. I love to return the positive energy an animal gives. I feel like every animal deserves kindness. I feel like I have a gift to be able read, understand, calm and relax and add happiness to an animal’s day. They are therapy for me as much as I feel I am for them. I’m happiest and genuinely feel most at-ease with animals. It’s important for me they feel comfortable with and around me. I know that much like human children, routine is very important to pets. If you need me to check in on them, feed /water them, potty breaks/short walks/close-by parks/play toss-the-ball, hug/cuddle/companion-time or stay at your home I am available to help. I develop unique connections to each animal I’m around and grateful to be around each one. Whatever a pet-owner needs me to do to help make their pet’s day better, I’m up for the challenge. Animals make my day, daily! Whether it be my friend’s dogs & cats or the Brahma bull that is up the road, I try to see an animal each day. I do have experience with animals that have high-anxiety, special needs and abusive backgrounds. I currently have a few tears in my meniscus which is preventing me to do rigorous walks. I will be scheduling surgery soon but that does not prevent me from tossing a ball around for a dog. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet(s)! I am looking to assist with in-home day/night(s) stays, drop-in visits and walks. I’m available anytime and look forward to meeting you & your pet(s)! Although I do have a wonderful, small fenced-in yard, I live in an 800 sq ft home therefore, I think it's best to go where the pet is most-comfortable (their own home).
“Theo had walked my dogs before, so I was SO happy to see they were back on Rover! They’re so accommodating with my schedule, and my dogs adore them. I also appreciated how prompt they were in responding. I look forward to using their services again in the future!”

“Sarah was great with K'mier my 6 month old kitten she sent updates and pictures 2x daily letting me know how he was doing. My little is pretty shy, she got him to come out of his room, yes, room not a cage and showed him some great attention. She gave treats, they played together and he warmed up to her. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter and great with kittens. Her vet tech experience put me at ease leaving him for the first time. K'mier will definitely go back at our next trip. Thank you Sarah for your kindness taking care of my little guy.”

“Mackenzie took great care of Cleo! She was everything I could’ve asked for in a dog sitter! She gave me pictures as well as updates daily. Cleo seemed like she was well loved and taken care of during her week and a half stay. It really seemed like they made Cleo part of their family! Definitely recommend Mackenzie and will surely be using her again!!!”

“Michelle was amazing. She was willing to take Allie on short notice and she immediately and calmly made my somewhat anxious and unpredictable puppy comfortable with her as well as the other dogs. Allie was even willing to walk right in and snuggle up to Michelle - and usually she is more reluctant with new people. She was amazing at communicating and keeping us updated and Allie was even less anxious coming home. Thank you, Michelle!! I’ll definitely bring Allie again.”

“Christine was awesome in caring for our two elderly dogs at her home!! From the moment we connected by phone, I sensed her warm, caring spirit toward animals. She sent regular updates and photos while we were away. I offer Christine the highest level of recommendation and we definitely plan on utilizing her again in the future.”
