Mail was brought in; plants were watered; floors were vacuumed; kitchen, bathroom, bedroom were cleaned. It was as if we had never left. Our dog was happy to see us but was very calm and content. About: My husband and I have always had dogs and cats. We recently said good bye to our 2 16 year old mini-doxies. We miss the pitter patter of their paws and are looking to fill that gap. Although we are not ready to be full time pet parents right now, we would love to take care of your pups. As we had a paralyzed doxie and one with diabetes, we are adept at administering medication and expressing male bladders. Are you in the area on vacation and need someone to watch your pup while you go on an adventure, we can help. Just send a message. Pick up/drop off may be available. I work out of the home 2-3 days a week and volunteer drive for a local organization. Your pup would not be left for more than 4 hours without me or my husband checking in. At Our Home: We have a small fenced in yard. No pet is left unattended when outside. Walks and hikes with your pup are always an option, either in the neighborhood or if they like to ride in the car, there are many trails nearby. At Your Home: I will follow whatever instruction you give me. My preference is to watch your pup in your home as they will be most comfortable there, but they are welcome in my home as well.

Our cats need extra care; they are 15 years old, finicky eaters, and one needs insulin shots twice a day (for diabetes) and a pain pill once a day (for arthritis). Chuck took great care of, and quickly bonded with, both of them. He also took great care of our home. All while sending us frequent updates and pictures. When we got home our cats were calm and happy--proof that Chuck had given them lots of loving attention, managed to get them to eat regularly, and ably handled the medical needs of our more ailing kitty. We highly recommend Chuck as a conscientious pet sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds since I was old enough to walk, from horses to dogs and cats. I love animals and am very responsible. I am currently enrolled in college, so any house sitting must be pretty close to school or apartment in the bangor area. Otherwise I am pretty flexible and willing to work with you as long as you are willing to work with me:) Since I am enrolled in college, I cannot pet-sit in my own home. But I love animals and I believe they are more comfortable in the comfort of their own home and I am very tidy and will pick up after myself and your pet, if need be.

About: I'm an outdoorsy, active sitter who loves getting dogs outside and moving, but I’m just as happy hanging back with pups who prefer to relax. As a runner, I’m great at helping high-energy dogs burn off steam with runs, long walks, and playtime so they come home happy and tired. I’m good at reading what each dog needs and matching their vibe and I'm just as comfortable with energetic young dogs as I am with older pups who need a slower, more patient pace. Whether your dog wants adventure or just some chill company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I currently have a very flexible schedule, and I'm more than happy to work something out. Weekdays work best, early mornings or anything before 5pm, though I'm happy to be flexible! If your dog is with me they'll have ample time to relax, get outside or play some tug of war. I'm very perceptive of animals state's of mind and make every effort to make sure they're getting what they need.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I started pet services a few years ago to make a little extra cash during the winter time. Mostly dogs (big or small) a few cats and 1 turtle I’m currently working part-time during these last months of winter so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your doggos! Which means they’ll get plenty of extra outdoor time For dog walking, I’ll most likely just take them around their neighborhood unless they are good with cars might take them over to the dog park An overnight I always stay at the client house so animal will have the comfort of home while they are getting used to a new person and theirs is away

About: I am always the first to be called when a friend needs doggy daycare or house sitting with dogs, cats, and often other animals. I’ve fostered and found homes for rescues internationally and domestically. I’ve worked for a doggy daycare where I was responsible for 50-70 dogs with a crew of 2-4 people. I also spent a few months off and on taking care of 10-22 huskies while part of the herd were sled racing. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and enjoy seeing all of their unique personalities. I was surprised with a rescue dog when I was 10, Hemingway. It was an amazing experience and I helped train Hemmy to be a service dog for my grandmother who was visually impaired. Winter rates are now $250/day for basic overnights, includes 3 pets. Will adjust include extra rates accordingly to animals and household needs. I’m self employed and have the flexibility to set my daily schedule around your animals needs and regular routine. Lots of scritches, play time and love are part of my commitment to your pets. I am available for short and long walks (depending on your animals needs and ability), playtime, companionship, love and affection, meals and snacks as well as monitoring medication if needed.

About: I have 4 years of pet care experience professionally as well as lots of informal experience. I’m comfortable walking and sitting all kinds of dogs- different sizes, personality, and needs! I love animals and I love getting to know new dogs. I have experience with giving oral meds, working with reactive dogs, and not afraid to clean messes! I currently work Thursday-Saturday, but am available the other days of the week. I can work morning and evenings and I am flexible with scheduling I always ensure I have a secure grip on leashes so that they won’t slip out of my hand if a dog lunges or starts to run. About: Hi there! My name is Rory and I am an animal lover. I grew up with animals of all kinds, but have experience with horses, dogs, and cats. I am very patient, loving, and responsible, and love giving animals the attention/love that they need! I am familiar with care of animals of all ages and physicality, with years of volunteering under my belt. I am also very active and work out quite a bit, so (for dogs) a walking companion is great, but a jogging one is even better! I have a relatively flexible schedule, and am lucky to work quite close to where I live. I have experience fostering animals in the past and my living space is well equipped for any furry companion! I am currently working part time and live with my husband, and my own furry companions (2 cats and one dog!). They are all friendly, well adjusted and enjoy visitors. I am able to take my pup on a walk every day (about 1-3 miles depending on the day) rain or shine. Animal care is part of my normal routine and I look forward to being a caregiver to all furry friends in my home or yours (currently not accepting care from my own home, but happy to do drop in visits or house sitting for clients) I live on a very quiet area off of the main road. I am happy to keep your dog on a leash at all times when not indoors, and can crate them if needed. My shifts away from home are never longer than 4 hours. Our home is doggy proof (no chewable cords, small toys, or plastic bits accessible) and we keep all food off of our counters. I am also capable of making any and all adjustments that your pup may need, including all of the above in your own home environment. I am happy to do overnight stays or drop ins depending on your needs and my schedule.
