“Kirk is incredible and we are already brainstorming reasons to have him pet sit :P He takes such good care and consideration of the pet’s needs. I saw how the other pets looked up to him for safety and comfort. He took great care of our anxious girl. Thanks Kirk!”

“Charlotte was a fantastic sitter for my two dogs, one older and slower, one younger and very energetic. She sent me pictures throughout her stay with them and left the house beautifully clean. She even came back and gave them an extra walk when my plane was delayed. She is caring and clearly loves her job! I highly recommend Charlotte to everyone!”

“Thanking you for taking such good care of Harry and Ruby. I know both dogs had a great time with you. Each day Lise was out the door with the dogs early in the morning. We have several nice hiking areas close by, and she took advantage of all of them to exercise the dogs. (who are both high energy dogs). Rest of the day was play and rest. Communication was great, sent pics and overall made us feel like we made a great choice on a short notice sit. The house was tidy and neat; she even did her sheets on her bed. I don't know what else to say but if I could keep Lise a secret I would. We are looking forward to having her sit our two dogs whenever we are planning a trip.”

About: Hi there! My name is Rory and I am an animal lover. I grew up with animals of all kinds, but have experience with horses, dogs, and cats. I am very patient, loving, and responsible, and love giving animals the attention/love that they need! I am familiar with care of animals of all ages and physicality, with years of volunteering under my belt. I am also very active and work out quite a bit, so (for dogs) a walking companion is great, but a jogging one is even better! I have a relatively flexible schedule, and am lucky to work quite close to where I live. I have experience fostering animals in the past and my living space is well equipped for any furry companion! I am currently working part time and live with my husband, and my own furry companions (2 cats and one dog!). They are all friendly, well adjusted and enjoy visitors. I am able to take my pup on a walk every day (about 1-3 miles depending on the day) rain or shine. Animal care is part of my normal routine and I look forward to being a caregiver to all furry friends in my home or yours (currently not accepting care from my own home, but happy to do drop in visits or house sitting for clients) I live on a very quiet area off of the main road. I am happy to keep your dog on a leash at all times when not indoors, and can crate them if needed. My shifts away from home are never longer than 4 hours. Our home is doggy proof (no chewable cords, small toys, or plastic bits accessible) and we keep all food off of our counters. I am also capable of making any and all adjustments that your pup may need, including all of the above in your own home environment. I am happy to do overnight stays or drop ins depending on your needs and my schedule.
About: I've raised a variety of pets from childhood. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, geckos and even salt water fish! I'm an environmental science major and have always been passionate about animals. In my adult life I have cared for others pets for short trips and as long as 6 months while a friend was on deployment. I especially love the opportunity to take animals on adventure and exercise ! I'm a student at the University and am taking remote classes this winter. This allows me the flexibility to care for pets around a client's schedule. I do not have a fenced in yard, but live close to several dog parks. I would keep any pets leashed in my neighborhood. I have flexibility to care for pets in my or a client's home depending on each pet and what situation works best.
About: Many of my clients are away from home—sometimes for a weekend, sometimes for a longer trip. Whether you live here year-round or are spending time in Maine temporarily, having a dependable local presence makes all the difference. From the brick paths of Cambridge to the pine woods of Downeast Maine, as someone who moved here from away, I understand the importance of trust, routine, and clear communication when you’re not nearby. I provide calm, reliable in-home care focused on helping pets stay settled and comfortable while their people are away. DOGGIE DAY CARE (Friday Follies) Small-group dog day care offered on a limited basis for dogs I already know. Care is calm and structured, with supervised outdoor time, rest periods, and attention to individual routines. This is not a high-volume or facility-style service. DOG WALKING (Local only, April - November) Dog walking is offered on a limited basis within my immediate neighborhood. Walks are calm, unhurried, and focused on routine and safe outdoor time rather than distance or speed. HOUSE SITTING House sitting provides overnight, in-home care while you’re away. Care focuses on routine, safety, and consistency for pets who do best staying in their own space. Availability is limited and best suited for planned trips. DROP-IN VISITS Drop-in visits provide routine care while pets remain in their home or temporary stay. Visits include feeding, litter or outdoor care, medications as instructed, and general check-ins. Extended visits may be recommended for multiple pets or more involved routines. I plan my schedule intentionally to support well-defined care needs and clear timelines. This allows me to provide consistent, attentive care whether you’re traveling nearby or farther from home. Safety and consistency are always a priority. I follow established routines, respect household instructions, and pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort. Clear communication helps ensure a smooth experience while you’re away.
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I started pet services a few years ago to make a little extra cash during the winter time. Mostly dogs (big or small) a few cats and 1 turtle I’m currently working part-time during these last months of winter so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your doggos! Which means they’ll get plenty of extra outdoor time For dog walking, I’ll most likely just take them around their neighborhood unless they are good with cars might take them over to the dog park An overnight I always stay at the client house so animal will have the comfort of home while they are getting used to a new person and theirs is away
“Glendon was absolutely amazing with our reactive pup, Desmond while we were out of town for a few days. He has separation anxiety and can be tough to settle but Glendon was patient and persistent and they soon became buddies. This was a major accomplishment because Desmond usually prefers females over males. Glendon was also available on a very short notice and flexible with the times we requested which helped us out immensely. Our house was clean when we returned and he even made us food so we didn’t have to cook after traveling all day. This was the first time a new person has looked after Desmond and it was such a relief knowing he was in good hands :)”

About: I have taken care of my dog for 10 years. I am truly passionate about caring for animals and I truly believe we should treat them as our loved ones. I have always been around dogs since I was born. I have had multiple dogs at once! I pet sit for my friends and family. I have a very flexible work schedule. I get to pick my work hours so I can always make time for doggies and kitty cats. It brings happiness to me to spend time with pets I bring my dogs out on a leash and let them sniff and walk around for a little bit. Get a nice little refresher. I love to play fetch or tug-of-war. We even play chase just running back and fourth with each other. I give them lots of pets and belly rubs. Brushing them is a big thing to help keep their coats in good condition plus bathing bi weekly!
About: I am always the first to be called when a friend needs doggy daycare or house sitting with dogs, cats, and often other animals. I’ve fostered and found homes for rescues internationally and domestically. I’ve worked for a doggy daycare where I was responsible for 50-70 dogs with a crew of 2-4 people. I also spent a few months off and on taking care of 10-22 huskies while part of the herd were sled racing. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and enjoy seeing all of their unique personalities. I’ve loved animals since I was small. We always had cats when I was little, as well as ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, my turtle boy China B, parakeets, and a Senegal parrot foster. I was surprised with a rescue dog when I was 10, Hemingway. It was an amazing experience and I helped train Hemmy to be a service dog for my grandmother who was visually impaired. Winter rates are now $250/day for basic overnights, includes 3 pets. Will adjust include extra rates accordingly to animals and household needs. I’m self employed and have the flexibility to set my daily schedule around your animals needs and regular routine. Lots of scritches, play time and love are part of my commitment to your pets. I am available for short and long walks (depending on your animals needs and ability), playtime, companionship, love and affection, meals and snacks as well as monitoring medication if needed.
“Our pups were so happy with Kirsten. She walked them daily cuddled with them and sent lots of pics to let us know how things were going. She was amazing and we would not hesitate to book with Kirsten again. Great experience for all of us!”
