About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was 5 years old, so I have about 17 years of personal experience with dogs, cats, birds, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc. Despite the experience being personal, I am professional, calm, and work extremely well with animals. It is important to me to be their voice when they aren't listened to, and to provide help in any way I can, as I know that life can be very busy, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't make time to take care of those that take care of us. Animals always love unconditionally and provide unwavering support in all ways, so I'm here to give that to them, and to take some of the stress off your shoulders when you have to give your time elsewhere. Services: Daily Walks Food, water, and treats as directed by pet parent Playtime :) fetch, frisbee, catch/chase- anything they like to do! We go on daily walks, and hikes on the trails several times during the week. There's space in the backyard to play, run around, and go potty when needed. I will actively keep you updated during the entire stay, and send lots of pictures. I will stick to the routine you have for your pet, and make sure they feel as comfortable as possible. I treat every animal with respect and as if they are my own- with lots of patience, understanding, love, kindness, and empathy. I do my best to understand their temperament so I can cater to their specific needs in order for us to gradually build trust at their own pace.

“This was our first time booking through Rover.com and we cannot be more pleased! Wendy took excellent care of our animals while we were away and sent us frequent updates. Before our trip she came to meet our pets and review their needs. We felt very comfortable with leaving our fur-buddies in her capable and experienced hands.”

“Jessica was an amazing Rover for our puppy. We dropped her off in the morning at Jessica’s home and picked her up after a day of skiing during our week at Northstar. Jessica was super flexible and very easy to communicate with. She even walked down to the main road to get phoebe when her small street was nearly snowed in. Very accommodating and kind!”

“Jessica and Eric have a wonderful home with a fenced backyard! It is just perfect for daycare, or overnight.Jessica was kind enough to send me photos of Layla and her dog enjoying their time together. Layla now has 3 new friends, and has asked me if I can schedule a return visit(lol)!”

“Kelly is AMAZING. She dog-sat my 3 month old puppy Layla and did a fantastic job. Layla didn't even want to leave at the end of the day. Kelly took the time to do a meet and greet and took lots of notes. She took Layla to a fenced in yard and played with her for hours. She gives all of her attention to her client which i really appreciated.”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, cats, and even horses, which has truly shaped my love and understanding of animals. Caring for them has always come naturally to me, and I believe every pet deserves patience, attention, and genuine affection. I currently have a dog and two cats of my own who are a huge part of my life (honestly, they probably think they’re tiny humans at this point). Because of that, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and I treat every animal in my care like they’re my own. What sets me apart is not just my lifelong experience, but also the knowledge I’ve gained through my mom’s involvement in animal rescue and education. She runs a rescue focused page that highlights high risk shelters and pets in need of homes, which has given me a deeper understanding of different temperaments, special needs, and the level of care animals truly deserve. (IG: 4theluvofdogzz) I’m attentive, reliable, and genuinely passionate about making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m currently a part time nursing student, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and any special needs. I live in a dog friendly house with access to nearby parks, and I always ensure pets are supervised, secure, and well cared for at all times. I’m also happy to accommodate any specific instructions to keep your pet comfortable and stress free.
“This was my first time using Rover and Melissa made it such a positive experience! She sent texts with pictures throughout the time day reassuring us that Boo was having a great time! Will definitely be using her again!”
